Its location is very convenient. 15 minutes away from Frankfrut airport by taxi, and 15 minutes away from City center by Metro.It is not fancy and modern, but and quiet and comfortable to stay.The only problem is that elevators are too small. (only 4 people are comfortable.)
This is an impressive hotel with beautifully appointed large rooms. It is centrally located - about 20 minute drive from the airport. The gym is quite small but adequate for a short workout. My only negative experience is the wifi. It was intermittent and unreliable. Otherwise, I found the hotel to be a lovely place to say. I had a room that faced the interior. While it did not have a view, it was blissfully quiet.
I don't even know where to begin; the friendly staff? the luxurious building? the warm and cozy rooms and lobby? everything in this hotel and i mean everything is just perfect. I always felt right at home,the house keeping cleans twice a day plus the location is terrific. In addition to all this what completed the comfy and pleasant stay was the tv ;) it had all the best arabic channels! Many many thanks to the administration, staff and everyone who contriubuted in making this hotel the best hotel I've ever stayed in.
This is a 4-star. It's NOT breathtakingly beautiful; it's elegant, pleasant, comfortable. There are some issues they have not ironed out yet. We stayed 4 nights and paid just over CAD $1200 for the 4 nights for a regular, not upgraded room. Which is not actually a five-star price for a city like Frankfurt (more like 4-star price).The good elements: LOCATION. You absolutely can't beat it. It's a 10 min walk from the Hauptbahnhof--you don't want to be closer--and also 10 min from Altstadt and 10 min from all the museums on the other side of the rive, and 10 min from the financial district. AND it's a 2 minute walk from the Opera, which is what mattered to us.It's comfortable--good beds, good cosmetics, good linen. Clean and quiet. All the basics taken care of.The things they need to fix:1. The wifi. This is absolutely unacceptable at this price. It hardly works, and it's so slow that although I did connect a few times, in the end, I just tethered my phone. The bandwidth was too slow even for regular email.2. The wifi.3. The wifi.4. Coffee/tea service. Even regular hotels in Munich and Hamburg have this in every room, so there's no reason why they can't have this here. Charge €2 more per night and give us this. Yes, there's a Starbucks across the street and maybe we should just bewegen unseren Arschen and go get it. But that's not a 5-star attitude.With these 2 changes, this hotel would be ideal. Since the best feature of this hotel is its location, I would recommend most that management NOT MOVE IT. And luckily, I don't think this is planned! :)
Arrived late 9pm at the hotel. After checking in the room we went for dinner and back around 11.30pmThe room was unbearably hot and upon complaining the the hotel sent maintenance who tried to fix the air conditioning unit and left. The air conditioning was not fixed and by now late so I decided to open all the windows and tried to get some sleep. Anyway finally the morning arrived with little sleep and showered went to have breakfast. After breakfast I complained again and the reception apologized and said they would send maintenance to fix the problem. I said I was going to a meeting and would be back by 11am. So by then maintenance will have fixed the problem. So when I came back to hotel at 11am went to the room and found the room really hot again so called reception again to complain that I could not even sit in the room and get my work done so they said they would send maintenance again immediately which they did and this time the maintenance guy said he could not fix the problem and he called reception about this and left. I waited a few minutes for reception to call me but did not so I called them and asked what they were going to do whether they were moving me to another room and they said they were very busy and had no room so at that point I flipped out and got a little angry with the guy I was talking to he quickly said he would transfer me to the manager who I then spoke to and explained what my problem was and instantly moved me to another room. So I had no apologies from the hotel or any compensation as a result of my previous nights problems. Every time I go to Frankfurt I stay at this hotel and after my recent experience I am thinking that there are a lot of other decent hotel which maybe better options.
