Exceeded Expectations

Spent a whole week at this hotel while on business in Frankfurt. I loved how it was conveniently located to not just my business location, but to many stores and restaurants. But more than that, in lots of little ways, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Specifically: the bed mattress and pillows were super comfortable; the room was very quiet, especially for being downtown; the buffet breakfast was fantastic had everything you could possibly want to eat; the in-room espresso machine and assortment of teas were great; the marble bathroom floor was heated (!); and the service ethos of the hotel employees was strong, whether it was the doorman, the reception staff, or the maid service. All at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

When on work in any city what is important is quick access to both offices and entertainment centers....Westin grand Frankfurt is all that and yet one of the most fabulous properties, great rooms and fantastic service. Don’t look further for a great stay in FRA

Average hotel, WTF is Marriott waiting on?

This is an average hotel. The location is ideal as shopping is across the street. All the major stores, restuarants, etc... Trams to central station as well as other parts of the city. The lobby is heavily perfumed as all Westin hotels, it's overpowering and needs to be reduced. The reception personnel were very snobby and constantly reminded you of amenities that were not included in your chambre, regardless of your membership status. I'm a Platinum member with Starwood Perferred Group. What I'm really wondering us WHEN will Marriott, now the Parent company, bring these hotels, in Starwood group, to their standards, membership tiers & benefits, as well as Customer Service training.REALLY Marriott??? Was up!!!!!The hallway to your chambre looks quite ragged, house cleaning carts all over the aisles & cleaning personnel talking very loud to one another along the very long corridor. The chambre is quite normal with the normal amenities. One good decision by management was to install numerous power outlets. The bathroom has a 110V outlet also.I ordered room service, Burger, which arrived fast & was tasty.Majority of the gym equipment was inop or powered off, so whats the purpose.I was awaken by the loud housekeepers again the next morning & the hallway chaos was again evident.I was on the 4th floor facing the street. You can hear the street noise but its not so loud...more muted with the windows closed. The bar was closed due to a private event so I didn't taste the good German bier.Overall, Frankfurt has a milliin other hotels worthy if my Euro.

Very pleasant stay at the Westin

I recently stayed here for one night while on a business trip and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is modern and offers great facilities. The room was of very good size, though after a few years would need some renovations. The bed was heavenly (as always with Westin) and the bathroom well equipped.I had access to the club lounge and breakfast and dinner options were sufficient and of high quality. The lounge overlooks the restaurant, which makes it feel very large and open.Staff was great and super friendly. I would certainly choose the Westin again for a stay in Frankfurt.

Needs a touch up

For a hotel caliber of a Weston I expected more honestly.First of all it needs a major renovation to be able to keep up with other Weston’s globally . What annoyed me the most is the gym is open 24 hours. Why on earth would you permit this? I was on the 5th floor and was obliged to hear people work out after mid night. Obviously I complained everyday. On a better note the breakfast was very good.
