Bayerischer Hof Hotel
- What's Included
...& rightly so. What makes this very large hotel homely is the staff. Beyond 5 star service. From reception to 7th Floor this hotel is superb. Mixologists in Falks Bar deserve a mention....excellent. Loved my Promenade Cocktail. So central to marienplatz. A stylish Hotel in a very chic city. We will be back 😍💚
What a beautiful hotel in a great location. The entry is magnificent and the rooms are decorated beautifully. The grand ballroom downstairs is something to behold and should not be skipped for any reason.
This location is simply the best you can get in Munich: location, building and atmosphere are amazing. If you come the second time the staff at the reception remembers what you liked from your first stay; if you aren't happy with the room, they offer you to see others until you find the one you like. There is much space, elegant interior and updated technology. In the stylish elevator we shared the ride with a stunning beautiful, exquisite dressed, best hair dressed and decorated woman and her elegant, smart, bold and older partner. Around the ground floor there are different international restaurants, a cinema and even a night club with terrific live music at the weekends. In the morning the breakfast is on the top floor with a fantastic view across spires, towers and roofs. We fortunately found that the cappuccino (likely from an obsolete coffee machine) and the orange juice (not fresh squeezed, rancid and with the pulp) didn't meet the extraordinary standard of the hotel ...
We stayed at the Bayerischer Hotel for three nights. It is a lovely old world hotel situated in a perfect location in the heart of Munich. You are walking distance many of the city's interesting sites as well as in the heart of the shopping areas. We stayed in one of the more recently refurbished rooms - which was nicely done with attractive fabrics and furnishings etc. However, there was no room for us to store our clothes. We like to take our clothes out of the suitcase - even for three nights - and there were no drawers available. The hanging space was wide open and right the front door - so anyone coming into our room had full view of all of our things. The staff was pleasant and service was good. However, we found that when we checked in, we received no information about the hotel from the check in staff as in the dining services offered, the spa and other amenities etc.- that you would expect to be told about when you stay at a place of this caliber. We were traveling with other friends - who stayed here as well and unfortunately we all had the same opinion.
Wonderful hotel is a great location. Rooms are beautiful and I thin recently refurbished. very comfortable amenities. Staff are also wonderful and the breakfast room is one of the highlights with great views. The Bar also is not to be missed as it has a very cosy feel with fantastic views of the city. Probably the best hotel in the city.
