great hotel

Nice hotel not far from the city. 30 min bus ride from the airport. Lobby area is huge, nice coffee shop. Rooms are okay, quite comfortable. I like hotels where you can open the windows in the room to get a fresh air. Good location, huge supermarket across the street if you need to grab a food

An enjoyable stay

I was here for a conference and really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were well equipted and of a reasonable size. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the food in the restaurant was tasty. Everything you need.

Grand and always always the westin i expect

Live up to the westin reputation as always.Grand lobby, nice welcome with pretzels! Since it was during the oktoberfest.Rooms are great, facilities are intact, the team is excellent.Got a very good beer restaurant paulaner in the basement!Close proximity to the metro. Slightly away from city center. But no harm to walk alittle bt more in a nice weather. And since its away from the city center. You get a nice view of the old town as well as peaceful surroundings.

Overrated and Lacking!

Normally the Westin brand offers superb properties but this one does not match the usual level of quality and care.Rooms are quiet and the beds very comfortable but the bathroom was dull and uninviting - simply efficient. Towels were not fresh and luxurious as you normally expect in a 5 star location. Lacking!Reception is good in terms of the room structure and people service, upon arrival and departure. The bar and restaurant are over priced but okay quality. Service was very inconsistent. Sometimes very poor and unattentive whilst other times okay, never exceptional - management is lacking. Wine list is good but over priced, a Spanish Rioja (Maquíes de Riscal) was €47 whereas in a 5* hotel in Spain is €29!!! Mad!

Big hotelNice Bavarian foodBeds not comfortablePillows are fineToiletries are not the best...On the reception they are like robot programmed to answer without listening.Same happened during breakfastThe Asian lady I had to tell her 5 times to check if my room number was updated on the system under executive club access...she asked me 5 times room number at the end I had to write it down for her...and she never checked... So I walked in...three waiters asked me tea coffee...always I answered no...I wrote it down on a paper left it on the table so the 4th one will not ask...no attention to details rushing is part of their life...I think they are under staff
