Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens
- What's Included
- All Inclusive Features
This hotel was beautiful, the accommodation was good, the laying was in a district what we'd liked (almost no tourist people) so it's great that you can see this part of Athens 👌. But the mainly reason that this hotel was very good , was the staff his hospitality. Never saw it like this 👍👍We're comming back for sure 😎
Recently returned from 5 nights in Athens at the Radisson blu which is a very friendly hotel and where we had a very enjoyable stay The room was clean and comfortable the food excellent.at breakfast and dinner .we were on a half board basis. The views of the acropolis from the restaurant were marvellous so altogether a very enjoyable stay with thanks again to all the friendly staff
The hotel is walking distance from the Victoria metro station. This is on Line 2 of the Athens metro, and requires you to change at Monastiraki from the airport (Line 3). I stayed here twice, during my stay in Athens. It is walking distance from the main Larissa station, but a taxi will cost only EUR4, so you may as well take one if you have bags. I had the breakfast only once, because I had an early start every day, and they start serving only at 6:30am at the very earliest. The breakfast is priced at EUR21.50 which is quite high, so try and get it included with your room rate, or ask if there is a special offer (there was in winter 2016/17). The room was large, comfortable and the bathroom was clean and tidy. The corridors were a little dark, but had a good feel to them. I was upgraded to a Superior Room, but I got a glimpse of the Business Class rooms - these are much better. The restaurant on the rooftop is very expensive, and there are dozens of better choices in the surrounding streets, and particularly near the Cathedral. The atmosphere up there, with an impressive view of the Acropolis, may be worth it for some. My wake up call didn't work out, and I had to take a taxi to the airport on one day due to this. During my first stay, I got an electric shock from the lift calling button on the 6th floor. I would recommend this hotel for those who find its price point acceptable, and don't mind being a little more than walking distance from the crowded streets of the Acropolis area. You cannot be more central Athens than this, in terms of pure geography. The Three Islands Tour (Hydra, Poros and Aegina) has this hotel as the first pickup, and last drop off point, which was another reason why I chose it, so that I get a full overview of the other popular hotels available for savvy travellers. I walked to the πολυτεχνειο (university) tram stop, but it didn't turn up on time, so I walked back to Victoria. Google Maps is not updated correctly for off-season.
I had an excellent room with a heartwarming welcome from Reception by Vicky. Clean room, excellent breakfeast esspecially for kids, Nice location. Very nice view from the top restaurant.Bets regards and will come back again.
Excellent service and staff. Nice, spacious rooms with all facilities you´d need. Close to sightseeing spots, nice restaurants and excellent breakfast! Walking distance to the city and nicer areas with lots of restaurants and shopping. Fantastic view from the top floor.
