Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens
- What's Included
- All Inclusive Features
The strength of this hotel is the rooftop pool and restaurant (which is bigger than the Grand Bretagne rooftop pool).Otherwise the quality of rooms is fairly mediocre, and I now avoid this hotel when staying in Athens as there are many better choices. This is the only Athens hotel where I have been attacked by mosquitoes while sleeping.
My husband and I enjoyed superior accommodations supported by a caring team who excelled in meeting all of our needs. Christos worked diligently to solve numerous personal technical issues due to my inexperience. Antonis offered input in resolving MY technical concern. Maria graciously loaned me extra pillows to enhance comfort during our stay and was certain that our room was perfect during our stay. Froso efficiently directed our travel plans and shared many important options to achieve our goals. Miltos warmly answered numerous questions pertinent to our stay. Antonia joyfully greeted us as we dined during our DELICIOUS buffet breakfast and efficaciously delivered our requests promptly as we had special dietary concerns. I exercise regularly and I was elated to have a state-of-the-art athletic center avaiable 24/7. Everyone on staff was kind and attentive. We were SO impressed that we have already made reservations to return to THIS same hotel in a couple of weeks!
This is a good hotel with comfortable rooms. Food was rather expensive and breakfast was nicely done with a wide variety. It is quiet . There is not much to do around here though and hardly any other restaurants in the vicinity. Great views of the Acropolis at night from the restaurant.
We stayed for 5 days and we were very happy with our stay. The staff and service was excellent, the buffet breakfast was amazing, good free wifi, good aircon and big rooms. The view over the park is great but the view from the top floor of the Acropolis is breath taking. I suggest you spend some time up there. The only downside is where the hotel is situated. I wouldn't suggest walking around of a night time, catch uber or taxis. Our uber drivers advised that before the crisis it was safe but now you need to be careful of a night time. Otherwise it's a great hotel.
If you are looking into a good option for hotel while staying in Athens, the Radisson Blue is worth considering. Very good rooms, friendly staff, and a very good A/C system in the summer time (very important in my opinion). Good return from your money. The only issue is that there are not that many restaurants within 5 minutes. Overall, very good experience.
