A 7-day SCUBA Diving Adventure with a group of 16

We spent a week at the Mayan Princess Resort and completed 16 dives with the Mayan Divers. The package was all inclusive, reasonably priced, and fantastic. We ate lobster and other seafood nearly every night in one of the three specialty restaurants. The buffet was one of the best we ever experienced. Fresh tortillas at every meal and t separate grills preparing specialty sandwiches and fresh meat dishes. Our room was a second floor ocean (sunset) view that was very clean, roomy, and looked out over the ocean and beach. The hotel, food service, and dive staff were outstanding. They were friendly and fun and there to make your stay memorable. The bar supervisor assisted with my poor Spanish skills and never laughed at my poor abilities with her native language. They all displayed very good English speaking skills.

Truly a beautiful resort that provides superior service, great food and teams up with a quality dive shop.

The all inclusive package with food, drinks and diving makes an for a wonderful stay. Ishmael and Rosita in the Luna restaurant make your meal entertaining. Rooms are clean, cool, and comfortable. I wish some of the suites had 2 full size beds so sharing rooms is easier than someone sleeping on the sofa bed. The higher price of a single person makes room sharing desirable.

Great value

We arrived on a cruise ship, and took a taxi to the Mayan Princess. We did not book with an excursion. We paid $10 each to use a beach chair. We received a wristband, and could use the shaded lounge areas and rest rooms. We ordered and paid for food from the menu, and a drink. The tres leches cake was wonderful! The beach was absolutely beautiful!!! It was very tranquil. I would highly recommend for a stunning beach with a few vendors, but they were not pushy and only approached me when I made eye contact and asked about their goods. Our taxi driver came back to us at the time that we had arranged with her. The fair was about $60 with a $20 tip. She also stopped a few other places were we requested to stop. It was a great day!

Terrible

Bought VIP tickets and we definitely were not treated as VIP. The food was horrible as well as the service. Only thing good was the beach was beautiful. Very disappointed with resort. Judy and Randy Texas

GREAT ISLAND, GREAT RESORT, GREAT ECO TOURS!

One of our very favorite island spots for Blues South productions, we had such a great time playing at the Beach Club here and entertained our guests as well as theirs and the staff! The food is over the top, the service and presentation amazing and every staff member is happy, helpful, friendly and super efficient! Coming back March 19th week with more musicians and shows, cant wait! The location is fabulous, the beach and the barrier reef snorkelling is of course 2nd to none ... West End is fab too!
