Paradise Oceanic Hotel

So we stayed at the Paradise Beach Hotel but was able to enjoy the roof top patio where they have a small but cool pool, lounge chairs and a nice over view of the, area. The fitness center has everything you really need to maintain or just get a few workouts in whole on vacation. Down the side alley you can walk over to the courtyard, bar area abs bigger pool which is one of the nicest pools around. Also you can access the beach from there or down the side alley as well. The rooms looked nice at the Paradise Oceanic, for us it seemed to detached from main resort either way I'm sure you can't go wrong. We also parked our rental in the small parking area next to the Oceanic Hotel.
both the paradise hotel and the oceanic hotel in the west bay are owned by the paradise clean and comfortable ,the staff is very friendly will help in anyway they can ,the house keepers are vey good ,my wife have stayed there several times, at one time we stayed in the west end there are more choices for food but is way to noisy at night ,party back packer destination so we moved to the west bay end ,10 minute ride by water taxi to and back 3$ each way ,infinity hotel al has an avis car rental at pretty good price or you can rent from airport
I spent 2 weeks during Christmas holidays at the Paradise Oceanic Hotel. Here following my opinion:LOCATION:in front of the West Bay beach, it's located close to the Paradise Beach Hotel, being the same resort, you get to use the pool and all the facilities of either hotel. The building is new and, in my opinion, the rooms are much nicer than the Paradise Beach Hotel.ROOM: clean. The bed is very comfortable. Special thanks to our cleaning lady “Italia”. The bathroom,, expecially the shower, is too small. One bad note – the hotel has 4 floors but the elevator doesn’.t exist!”BREAKFAST: the buffet is poor, with a lot of carribean speciality, less acceptable to the European tastes. RESTAURANTS: it’s no truth that there are more restaurants. You can eat in different location but there is only one kitchen so it means that the time to wait the food is too long. More than an hour to eat everything, specially from Monday to Friday with the cruises. Furthermore the menu is limited: pizza and seafood platter, nothing more! On the other hand the waiters are very nice and helpful but the kitchen staff is undersized!!! Few cooks can’t cover all the orders of the guest and the cruises!RECEPTION: very helpful.BEACH: nice beach, nice sea but the chairs are too close each other and during the week (Monday to Friday) the Resort hosts the cruise passengers so the guests of the Hotel are disturbed by a multitude of barbaric and wild people that leave in the sand amount of leftovers and bottles of beer.DIVING: all the staff is professional and experienced. Small group. I recommend it strongly.INTERNET: It works but sometimes the signal is weak, specially in the room and during busy times of day.My mom was in Roatan fifteen years ago when the place still had the charm it deserved, now there are buildings one after the other, along the only beach on the island. Roatan can be good for diving but otherwise there are many other Caribbean islands that offer a lot more for the same price or less!.
Our agent told us that we were booked in Paradise Beach but ended up here There's little internet in the open areas and none in the rooms. They will tell you that the "IT guy will look into it when he comes in at 9am" There's no IT guy. We stayed on the 4th floor and the elevator is not working. The excuse is there's no one on the island that can fix it True but lame excuse. Much of their effort goes into attracting large groups for meals and the beach which makes everything very crowded. The employees are the best part of the complex.
This hotel has a good food and Space, it has an amazing view for the sunset on its roof pool. The all inclusive is not real all inclusive concept because it just allows you to some specific food at some specific hours. It is a full board service.
