The staff is ready to help with what ever you need. the only thing i did not care for was the stairs to my room i was on the hill. but im fat and out of shape. it was really cool to see wild horses on the grounds.
My husband and I booked a very disappointing all inclusive package here with our dive group. While the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, we were very disappointed in the property and amenities. It is VERY rundown. Our room...looked like it had been uninhabited for months. Dirty, lamp shades and light bulbs missing, broken AC, and the room was full of ants on the walls, ceiling, and in the bed. We were told it was "fine" and that they'd spray. That made it worse. Ants began pouring out of the walls where they sprayed and now there were fumes. We were transferred to the beautiful Parrot Tree Resort the remainder of the week. A shuttle was provided to get back and forth for meals and dives but it was a hassle. We bought the unlimited alcohol package which was a bust. We had to leave the hotel at 930pm to catch the last shuttle every night. WARNING!!!ONLY DRINK BOTTLED WATER!! Over half our group got sick by the third day with GI distress and diarrhea from ingesting water other than bottled water. The beach...sand fleas are all over the sandy beach. Bring good bug spray or you'll get eaten alive.Meals...subpar. We expected seafood, fresh vegetables, variety for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but that wasn't the case. I felt like it was rationed. Often they ran out of the popular items and stopped serving dinner 45minutes before dinner was to end. Diving...we had 2 dive boats for our large group. One boat was in good shape, had energetic dive masters, safety equipment on board, and went out with 2 tanks per person each morning to outstanding dive sites. The other boat was run down, no safety equipment or briefing, it left the marina each day with one tank per person (not enough tanks) only to return to the marina to refill tanks then set out for the second dive of the morning. HUGE waste of time. Our Dive Master kept everyone in a ridiculously tight group and we were not able to fully explore our dives. We had to press them to dive the wrecks. AND an afternoon dive was missed because the boat broke down while we were on it.
This place was fun. Everyone was so pleasant. We stayed for 10 days. Rooms were quiet and clean with plenty of space including closet and drawer space. Our king size bed was very comfortable. We were upgraded to an ocean view room and I would recommend those rooms over the smaller rooms just due to location. Grounds were kept up very nice with someone always working on them. Horses and a donkey wandered freely on the grounds. Food was good with lots of choices. Not their fault, but diving on this side of the island is not great. Not many fish.
Excellent staff and service! The views were idyllic and met our vision for the perfect beach wedding. We highly recommend this resort and their wedding planning staff! Private and easily accessible from cruise ships. We will definitely plan a return vacation!
This might be the first time I left a resort saying I'd definitely return. 5 star service...they really try to please. Never felt like I was nickel and dimed on anything. Light was out and they fixed it right away. It seemed like they truly aimed to please. My wife and I would definitely go back.
