Wow - Amazing Hotel - Great Location, everything you need is right at their doorstep.Convenient and easy to find & access. The staff is wonderful and nice to deal with. They make your entire stay effortless. At the front desk, the ladies are hardworking, multi-tasking and making sure your every inquiry is answered without neglecting any other clients walking in. Fatima has been there for years and is very good at what she does. She can check you in quickly and spend extra time with you if needed. She is an excellent asset to the hotel and it wouldn't be the same without her. When making reservations, she and as well, Valerie, answer your emails the same day and can reserve any room you like without hesitation. You can trust that you will have a room ready for you when you arrive. They guarantee Peace of Mind !!Thanks to them for another memorable visit to Rome and stay at the beautiful Hotel !!
Was doubtful whether to proceed with my stay after reading few reviews of unsafe neighborhood. But with no intention to change bookings, I stayed with my family for 5 nights. I have to say that this hotel is pretty comfortable by all means. Pros - very close location to roma termini station for airport transfers and all tourist pick ups; good breakfast; rooms clean and maintain privacy if we put the board outside; inhouse discount for day tours (roam your way tours); good friendly reception; seems updated hotel; Cons - Breakfast timing could be flexible (right now 7 am to 10 am) - would be better if starts at 630 am (although they have the option of early breakfast at bar with croissant and coffee alone from 5 am); shower place is smaller; Air conditioner temperature control in our room was not working properly with no remote (as I prefer not very cool temperatures and hence was slight uncomfortable but manageable)
I have often stayed near the Termini Station if I am in Rome, this area may be a little riské at night, but in general, if you practice good caution and try not to go out after 11:00 PM. you are generally okay. First of all, if you are in Rome on weekend, no stores are going to be open and at least you will be able to buy some food or drinks at the market inside the Termini. Then if you know the area, there are many hidden gem restaurants that are run by mom and pop team that serves great food at very reasonable price. Waling to some surrounding shopping street is 10 min. Trevi Fountain, maybe 20-25 minutes if you pick the right route. The hotel is adequate and service friendly. Catching Leonardo Express to airport is convenient.
We stay at this hotel for a couple of days prior to our return home. The hotel has been updated and the room was small, but clean. It is located across from the main train terminal. The area is okay during the day, but it didn't feel safe in the evening. This is an area where you don't want to be arriving to your hotel very late at night. Coming from a hotel in Sorrento were the front desk was very helpful, we found the front desk at the hotel not as helpful or friendly. Therefore, we didn't bother asking them for any help.
We stayed at this hotel twice. On the way up and then back. More superior room first time. Huge bathroom but no where to hang anything . They say if you hang up your towels they save the washing, but there is nowhere except to throw them over the bath. A few hooks would be a great idea. Also we only got what I would call hand towels for the bathroom. Very small. Also no tissues. The glasses for drinking etc are very thin plastic. When I asked for some proper glasses I was asked to return them as soon as we had finished! Breakfast was pretty good except trying to get a hot cup of tea was impossible. The bed on the way back was extremely hard oh and room service -there is none. You want something you have to go get it at the desk downstairs.
