I want to preface this review as we traveled with a large group and there were multiple groups staying at this hotel. First, the staff had difficulty getting the luggage delivered to the rooms in a timely fashion. So we took care of our own luggage. The staff at times seemed overwhelmed. WiFi was inconsistent at best. They wanted to charge for internet which was silly as it did not work. The free service worked after 15 minutes of waiting. The room was comfortable, shower was odd and sprayed water everywhere. Food was much better than expected. The hotel staff did help in calling for taxi cabs.
Age of internet forces to criticise this hotel for the lack of internet. The only available internet was in the lobby 20min/day. This means that the hotel can't be above 3 stars. The hotel seemed to be quite old, but, the staff were nice and the location was near Villa Borghese.
Which is at 3 nights. Please note that the hotel staff is very kind, smiling and service is always available to address any problem and question recommendations and helps tourists to different places and explains the methods for achieving these.I would like to take this opportunity to praise Fabio reception showed willingness to help and very patient with us and answered every question politely.The hotel is not located in the city center but a short walk there are bus stops of lines 63 and 83 coming in about 12 minutes to reach the city center frequency of a quarter of an hour during the morning and afternoon and frequency of half an hour in the evening.The most basic breakfast usual European breakfasts in hotels.Although the hotel staff smiling and friendly but it should be noted that the hotel is very old and in my room there were problems that the hotel staff did not handle: I warned hotel staff about 3 times the shower very weak, it was difficult if not impossible to take a shower at the end of the day, one night it rained hard and has been on wettings appeared ugly after the ceiling and the shower was an issue smart card opens the door and about 4 times during the three nights that I stayed at had to return to reception to perform re-encoding smart card.Large, comfortable bed and towels in the showers are very large and very pleasant to the touch after the shower, but for three days we had to make do with two small bottles of soap and shampoo not replaced the day we entered the room until the day we left.There is a small refrigerator in the room that can accommodate without problems three 1.5 liter bottles and a small TV without too many options to view.In terms of cleanliness citation comes to the hotel, we went down to breakfast and once we got back we found our cleaning the room.The hotel is very clean and sleek lobby level of pharmacy.Unfortunately, there is no free wifi in the hotel lobby, but only after obtaining a username and password from the front desk. The wifi only active active areas of the lobby and the rooms and 1st floor dining room.In summary, the hotel is clean and the hotel staff and service very nice hotel, but the maintenance of low level and quality of ancillary services that is lacking, there is definitely room for improvement, but nevertheless I am sure that next time I will return to this hotel in Rome.
The rooms itself is old and smelly. Tv has bad reception. Wifi is not free. Cold customers service. Rude staff. This is the worst hotel i have ever been into. I asked the lobby if there is wifi and they rudely answered that i have to go down to get the password and when i reached the lobby i was surprised you have to pay for the wifi. Bad customers service in my opinion
We stayed at this hotel with a tour group in October, 2016. The rooms were rather small but manageable. We had a nice balcony that looked out onto the street. The bathroom was extremely small and definitely needs an update. The complimentary breakfast was nice and the bar was staffed by friendly staff. Nothing fancy about this property.
