Grand Hotel Beverly Hills
- What's Included
The location is nice, across a (very large ) park from the Spanish Steps. The room was clean and comfortable, but like a lot of European hotels, the bathroom was so small I had to step outside the bathroom just to change my mind. The breakfast was good and satisfying, and the few staff members with whom I interacted were pleasant and helpful, but there was certainly nothing outstanding. If you are looking for deluxe accomidations, well, keep looking. If you need a good basic hotel , Beverly Hills will do the job.
I suppose I was disappointed to be booked into a hotel called The Beverly Hills Hotel on our first visit to Rome - just seemed very sad somehow... However, our room was comfortable and breakfast was much better than we had experienced in our Arezzo hotel earlier in our tour... On the negative side, the shower was tiny and the shower door seemed very unstable. There was a lot of noise overnight - both outside (metal grinding at 2am anyone ??!!) and inside (a woman shouting at 3am in the corridor outside our room). Plus, it was a fair hike from the hotel to the centre of Rome - and a very long hike back after a day spent sight-seeing ! We didn't dine in the hotel as this wasn't part of our package - but did find several good local restaurants at reasonable prices - and very good food !
due to Ryan Air cancellations we found ourselves having to find an additional nights accommodation. We found the Beverly Hills Hotel online and were pleasantly surprised. It was modern, clean and very comfortable. We wished we had spent our entire holiday here! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
I have been to Rome numerous times but this was my first stay at Beverly Hills Hotel. The hotel is located close to Viale Regina Margherita. The room is just ok nothing exceptional, some of the bathroom facilities are rusty and are in need of change. The breakfast was so so, some items are good while other are not eatable. Orange juice is a total dissapointment while croissants are really good. No espresso available in the country of espresso which was a huge dissapointment. Water from the minibar is free which is a plus. Probably I will stay at a different hotel next time when I come to Rome.
We have just returned from a three night stay on a bed and breakfast bases and found it a very comfortable hotel to stay. We were on a Rivera Travel tour and felt it was a good location with a good range of restaurants in the area .Everything at the hotel was to our satisfaction and found all the staff very helpful
