Despite what some reviewers here have said about the location, we didn't find this to be a problem in any way. The shuttle service operated by the hotel is great for getting into Rome in the morning, and the bus and tram services are easy to use and are situated near to the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and our room was perfect. We visited the restaurant in the hotel on the last night and the food was absolutely amazing, we were both blown away by the dishes served to us. This hotel definitely made our visit to Rome very special, I am sure if we ever decide to visit Rome again we will return to this hotel.Fun fact: A lot of the streets around this hotel are named after famous physicists, something I found very interesting being a physics student!
This hotel is in a working class neighborhood, it takes a while to get to the attractions. They have a shuttle to downtown, but we chose to get a transit pass and walked the five minutes to the bus stop. That was a good way to see the city, spent a lot of time on busses and trams (and waiting for them). For dinner we had most of our meals in Trastevere, as that was the closest neighborhood served by the transit. Two points about the hotel were troubling. First, the HVAC was set on winter, meaning we could not control the room temp, only the fan speed. And, the higher we set the fan, the hotter the room got, since it was only blowing hot air. The room became a sweat box at night. Only way to cool the room was to open the windows. Second issue was with the breakfast. What they had was good, but we were there for six nights and it got boring, very little changed day to day. Once we went out for pastries, there are a few good bakeries on the main street. The hotel will make espresso if you ask, that was not one of the options on the coffee machine.Staff was very nice and helpful. They gave great directions on which buses to use and where to catch the connections. We chose H10 because we heard good things about them in Barcelona, but this hotel is not in an attractive location.
H10 Roma is a very nice hotel. Good design, nice room; nice bed. The cleaning service was very good (Y). Overall, nice staff. We had a stay with breakfast, but we slept little bit longer so we had breakfast around the corner :-)Dinner is nice in the restaurant. I recommend the ''cacio e pepe''. Delicious!**** worthy!
I stayed here with a friend of mine in May. We enjoyed our time here and found the hotel to be comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The staff were really friendly and helpful in providing advice on touring Rome. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool. It was reasonably priced and located really close to public transport. There are also some lovely local restaurants around the area which we really enjoyed. I would recommend this hotel.
Excellent hotel and good choice of food for breakfast. The only let down for breakfast was the coffee machine. The hotel is situated in a suburb of Rome about a 15 bus ride from the city and the number 171 bus runs frequently. There are a few restaurants nearby. The hotel staff are welcoming and we would recommend staying there.
