Although the hotel is a distance from the centre of Rome. The transport system is excellent and easily accessible.I had always wanted to try this hotel because of the swimming pool on the roof but thought because it was October it would have been closed. We arrived on a Thursday afternoon and immediately fell in love with it. Large rooms with comfy beds, large wardrobes and very spacious. The hotel has it's own restaurant too, which we ate at on the Thursday. The dinner was excellent but the breakfast was fantastic with a huge range of hot and cold choices. After sight seeing on the Friday and Saturday we decided to try the pool on the roof and do a bit of sunbathing. It was fantastic and although the water was cold the sun was hot so we enjoyed taking a dip in the pool and jacuzzi. This time of year the roof bar is closed though so the men in the party went downstairs to the bar in reception and brought the refreshments up in the lift. There are ice making machines on each floor but ours was not working but that didn't put us off. The only other thing was that the bar shuts at midnight and we had been out to a local restaurant and the heavens opened one night so we were waiting for a taxi to bring us back to the hotel. Because of the rain we had a bit of a wait for the taxi only to be told when we arrived at the bar at ten minutes past midnight that the bar was shut. The hotel is in a residential are with some businesses and schools close by, but don't be put off. It's a gem, the staff are excellent and extremely helpful and we managed to see a lot of attractions by using an Omnia pass which gave us queue jumps at some sights and discounts at others as well as access to open top tour bus. We also got a Roma pass which got us free travel for 3 days.
Excellent hotel with good restaurant. Located outside city center however bus and tram availability nearby. If anything I would have liked coffe machine in all rooms not only in Superior rooms. Friendly and helpful employees.
Super stay. Lovely, friendly staff. Good facilities and great breakfast. Cleanliness and standard of furnishings were both to a high standard. Although we didnt use the minibar it had a good range reasonably priced.
Really nice hotel, really well furnished and clean with big comfy bed and lovely shiny bathroom with a powerful shower. The staff are friendly with good English and were really helpful. Good quality wifi that worked in our room. They also have an iron that you can borrow if you ask at reception.Main complaint is the room service which is really overpriced and expensive (we only bothered because we were hungover)... €7.50 for some eggs plus a €6 charge! The first time they brought us the wrong meal then once we'd sent it back the replacement was scrambled eggs that were so raw and undercooked they were inedible. Wouldn't bother with that! We didn't try the main restaurant. The location is pretty far out of Rome but we quite liked that because it means you can eat comparatively cheaply in the area around the hotel and skip the central tourist prices. Walking down the main road from hotel you quickly come across nice gelato bars and pizza places.Getting the bus and train into town is pretty easy (both are in easy walking distance - 5 minutes to bus stop, 15 minutes to train). We didn't bother with the shuttle bus because it was pretty irregular and at inconvenient times (first one into town is 930am and last one back was mid afternoon). It was also more expensive than public transport (€3 for a one way ticket on shuttle or €1.50 for the bus).Really enjoyed our stay would come back again.
Found the hotel excellent, the staff where friendly and helpful, the rooms where well laid out and of a high standard. We made use of the roof top pool facility even in October which after a long days travel is a real treat. The food at breakfast and dinner was excellent with a good choice to suit all tastes.I would highly recommend this hotel.
