Stayed here for 4 nights in October 2016 as part of a City breaks deal. The hotel is on the outskirts of Rome in a more student area, however only 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro. On the way to the metro from the hotel, you will find plenty of shops and places to eat.The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and most spoke good English. The room was on par with other mid range hotels - no major complaints, but nothing that wowed me. For the money, it's what I expected. The breakfast was continental, but this was made clear when we booked so I have no complaints. There was a good selection of food and drink, with plenty of places to sit and again the staff were friendly.
This is a simple standard hotel located at walking distance from the Bologna metro station. It is also close to very good cafe bars, shops, pharmacies and restaurants. Staff was very attentive and Fiorre was great providing information on what to see and how to get there. Rooms are basic and very clean. They are very quiet. The bath shower has very good hot water supply. The breakfast is good with all the basics and you get to squeeze your very own orange juice. This is one I will be coming back to when in Rome.
I just got back from Italy yesterday and stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Upon arrival we were assigned an extremely marginal small room. My travel partner posted a mediocre rating on his Facebook account, mostly due to room size and location, and the hotel management apparently read that and changed our room. The room they re-assigned us was considerably more spacious, and had windows and doors to open for fresh air - our first one did not. I gave this hotel a rating of 4 because it was clean, staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and it is a modestly priced hotel for what you receive. In my opinion it's a great area to stay in with lots of great local restaurants (which are modestly priced), and you can be in Rome center on a short Metro ride.I can confidently recommend this place, and will happily stay there again on my next trip to Rome.
Hotel was lovely, breakfast passable , a bit far away from the main attractions, OK if you don't mind buses, tram, Metro. Nothing to do in the vicinity, very close to Medical University so lots of students....
Pros:- good location, 650m from Bologna metro station, bus stop close by, supermarket across street, couple of good restaurants near by- bed quite comfortable- staff friendly- good air conditioning of room available- breakfast buffet optionCons:- bathroom door won't close- wifi internet poor signal, recommend to have personal data service- shower cabin not in best conditions, toilet seat not working ok- watching tv in bed sitting against the wall, it would slide away from the wall (bed on wheels)- noisy floor and bathroom door- elevator/lift broke down last day (stairs for breakfast served at 6th floor, keep in mind in case of mobility needs)- breakfast staff - not the best service, tables were bussed with delay, juicer was blocked/ not cleaned in time- relative sound proofing of roomOverall acceptable experience for few days, doubt the 4 star value, would try other options next time
