Stayed here with a Groupon deal for 2 nights. For a place to sleep when exploring Rome on foot it was perfect. Perfectly fine room in a city centre location. Had breakfast on the last day, cold continental selection but absolutely fine. They say you get what you pay for and we reckoned after taking flights off the break we paid about £10 a night for bed and breakfast so got more than we paid for. Would stay again.
Gnerally Ok. A strange smell of mold in rooms and throughout the hotel. Breakfast, a simple menu. Very small shower cabin. Satisfactory services. Reception ok. Old building. Very small elevator. Small TV nonfunctional. Recommended for a day or two.
It is 2 stars hotel in reality no Internet in the room. TV does not work well... old rooms and small. Nice and professional staff at the desk. Good and quite location ...do not pay more then 60...70 usd
The hotel is not four stars for sure, it could be the worst two. It has a disgusting smell, when you come into the room, rooms are very small, walls and curtains a very dirty, you can find dust on the table and on tv. I asked to change the room, but the second was the same. The small old type tv shows one canal and with interuptions. They do not change towels each day even it is left on the floor, i left because it seemed not clean, the evening i came it was hanging on the wall, i as ked the receptionist, he told they change after two days!!! It is four stars? The mineral water was missing in the fridge. The wc water was going without stopping and making noise. They only provide one the same bottle of shampoo and shower gel per person for two days!!!! I can not find anything good about this hotel, it should be checked by the institutions, as it can not be sold for four stars.
We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of September in room 509. We booked this trip through an agent who suggested Hotel Executive before checking Trip Advisor.......Big Mistake!!Check-in - Not the best reception we've had, the guy wasn't friendly or helpful, in fact he seemed quite put out that we had arrived.Room - The carpet was torn near the bathroom door and very dirty, there was dust all round the edges, we wore flip flops as it was so awful. The inner curtain was torn at the bottom and the main one had some very odd marks and stains on it. Don't think the air con worked - no cold air came out, and it was too loud to have running anyway. The window wouldn't close because the bottom of it hit the frame. There is a safe, but it's not attached to anything, and the door concealing it was broken. There is a mini bar, but nothing is priced, we weren't even told it was there, i found it when looking behind the door below the safe.Bathroom - some of the tiling and the sink seemed to be new, but the tiling round the bath and shower was dirty with some mould in the corners. No shower curtain meant the floor got pretty wet. The towel rail is over the toilet which isn't hygienic in my opinion. The only good thing about the room was the bed which was comfortable with clean sheets, (I checked the mattress and pillows and they were also clean, a relief given the state of everything else!), and the fresh towels everyday.TV - no English channels, but the reception was so bad we wouldn't have been able to watch it anyway.Breakfast - Usual continental style, nothing impressive, but adequate, served in a dull soulless dining room which I believe is also the bar.Check-out - We got our first and only smile!!There's a good supermarket just round the corner, a department store, taxi rank and a couple of restaurants are also in walking distance. It took us about 45 minutes to walk from the hotel to Piazza Barberini.
