Excellent service . Staff fantastic . Kids club was excellent , can't thank the staff enough for going out of their way to making our holiday so enjoyable . Avatar, you are one in a million . Only downside was the shops in the hotel which are independent of the hotel itself . They add tax on essential items and the price went up daily with lots of disgruntled customers walking out in disgust . If you go make sure you stock up on essentials like suncream , nappies ,cigarettes etc . Shop was charging 14 USD for a pack of cigarettes ! Food excellent .Also changed our room with no problems for a sea view with no extra cost . Overall first class . Do step outside , local taxis are reasonable and the driver we had was very friendly and helpful .
We have just returned from our 2 week honeymoon at the Lady Hamilton where we had a great time. After a quick check in we were allocated a room in villa 33 by the adult pool. The room was lovely, spacious and good balcony area. Maid service every day as well as mini bar topped up. We paid a few hundred pounds extra for a room upgrade when booked with thompson but to be honest we're not sure what was upgraded a part from maybe a sea view? The jacuzzi bath didnt work which we reported on the 2nd day but nothing happened.. not a huge issue to us which is why we didnt chase it up but may have been for some.We had been given red VIP wristbands which allowed us to make restaurant reservations and received fruit and a bottle of rum to the room on our first night. Nice touches from the hotel. We tried all the restaurants/buffets etc and found the food to be great everywhere apart from the Italian (it wasn't much different to a microwave meal). The steakhouse and asian were amazing. Highly recommend the show at the asian. Breakfast/lunch buffets gave a lot of choice and everything was of good quality. We spent most of our time at the adult pool area where it was nice and chilled with some fab guitarists/singers popping by. The girl there everyday offering drinks service was great. In the evenings we only watched 1 of the main shows at the theatre which was ok but as the shows were all just dancing it was very 'samey' so usually just went to the infiniti bar/miss lous/sports bar. All drinks choices were really good.In general the staff were very friendly and helpful, there were a few that could crack a smile a bit more and some were too expectant of tips but that was the minority. We found the gardeners/maids/shuttle staff to be the friendliest, making time to say hi or wave as you pass.My main bit of feedback to the hotel would be around so many people trying to sell stuff around the place that it starts to become quite hassling. Girls selling spa treatments approached us about 4 times a day. They were always nice enough when we politely declined but it does get a bit annoying in to the 2nd week of it.. plus prices are too expensive at $200 odd for a massage. The onsite shop was a bit expensive which is probably due to the resort being a bit far out that people are limited. We went on a day trip to Negril for shoppig and ricks cafe which was amazing.. a must see sunset scene.Although there a few areas for improvement, overall the resort is beautiful. Very well kept with great pool areas, good food and drink and we really enjoyed our honeymoon!
This was my first time visiting the resort. Th first place we sat down to eat when we arrived was the buffet and one of the waitresses was named Claudette and she was sooo nice and had no problems refilling our champagne glasses. The Steakhouse was amazing. But the girls that take your reservations outside could be more professional and friendly. The Sports bar was fun and the drinks were great. The manager Clifton was very courteous and polite and Nassieve was awesome !! . I look forward to visiting again.
I absolutely Love this place. People were great and the vibes were cool. It was easy to navigate around and its just beautiful. I only wish they had more Jamaican food and music. But overall a great place and I am definitely visiting back!
This was our fourth visit to the resort to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. The room itself was fantastic just on the wrong floor; we prefer the second floor not the first and with a short wait we were able to acquire a second floor room. Davia Wilson was exceptional in her duties setting the room up to celebrate our anniversary and welcoming us upon our arrival, she was very warm and friendly. As a matter of fact the entire staff at the resort was very accommodating and outgoing. All the comforts of home can be found here. This resort is a must see and stay, you will not be disappointed.
