Great amenities, food, rooms and service

Went for 5 days with my adult daughter. Beautiful hotel. Breath taking beaches. Excellent restaurants with good choice of food to cater to all tastes. Even buffets were excellent with varied array of well prepared and healthy choices. No nasty cheap alcohol, branded well known names of liquor, beer and wine. So many choices of places to sit and relax. Peaceful areas and fun, louder areas. Free paddle boarding, kayaking. Aerobics etc. Paid fairly small amount to go off shore snorkeling. Spa was beautiful. Had good massage on the beach in quiet, isolated area. No complaints about service, staff all friendly. Don't bother buying coffee beans in the hotel - cheaper at the airport! Went over spring break and did not come across any crowds of badly behaved drunken teenagers! Would definitely go back!

Awesome Week in Paradise!

Upon check in we were greeted by hotel Manager, Garth, who was the most accommodating hotel employee in management position I have ever dealt with. He was prompt, kind and kept us happy all week as he kept checking in to make sure all was well! Grounds are beautiful, food was great and resort was clean! Rooms are beautiful and modern on the Lady Hamilton side (can't speak for the GP)Kids club staff...hands down the BEST!! Our kids begged to go back every day!! important to check out the grounds as it is HUGE and select your beach of choice! Main beach is nice but no access to bar nearby...sunset cove beach is super nice but when its full there may not be enough loungers and its a bit of a trek to get to!Jerk hut is a MUST TRY!!! DELISH!A La Carte restos could use faster service! 1.5hrs is not an acceptable wait time! All in all it was a great week all 6 adults and 6 kids were happy! Ya Mon! :)

Favourite resort!

It's my second time back to this resort and I can't wait to go again. The staff are very friendly and helpful and a ton of fun, special mention to our travel club lounge bartender Ricardo! The beaches are nice, good snorkelling, food is delicious. All in all the perfect vacation every time!!!

So-so

If you're looking for a high-end resort, this is not it. The place is showing a bit of wear-and-tear and needs better upkeep (lawn, landscape, lounge chairs, bathroom fixtures broken). Some of the staff are very warm and mannerly; others, not so much. One waitress approached our table at dinner and said "Yeah, what do you want?" The hostess at breakfast wouldn't seat us until I named a Bob Marley song (!) For this resort of 1100 rooms, there is only one outdoor buffet near the beach/pools for lunch and the food selection is very limited and they run out of food frequently. The first night there, a Friday, I called the front desk because I needed extra pillows. They said they'd send them. No pillows. An hour later, I called again. I waited another hour: no pillows. I fell asleep, then the phone rang asking me if I got my pillows. I said no, hung up, and fell back to sleep. The desk called me again and said someone was on their way with the pillows. About midnight, I got 2 of the 3 pillows I asked for. Oh, and since I'm on the subject, our room was not cleaned every day. And there is NO turn-down service in the evening. On the bright side: the food quality is good (not great).

Beautiful place, sketchy service.

This resort is HUGE. The beaches and coves are awesome and the entire resort is very clean. The furnishings and layout are luxurious. We found the service to be lax: the "regularly scheduled shuttles" were rarely out; room service was limited and acted like we were bothering them; the entertainers were going through the motions and lacked interest in putting on a good show; the food was fair to poor; we never felt that anybody was really there to help us enjoy our stay.
