Our Opinion

The Hilton Rose Hall is a great family resort for travelers looking for plenty of activities and things to do. The staff at the resort are incredibly pleasant and make a great effort in getting to know their clients. The resort is also most noted for its pools and water parks. Some parts of the waterpark are fashioned with waterslides, making it perfect for kids. There is also a great beach area with plenty of activities to do.

Great All Inclusive

We were on a ladies over 50 trip. Loved Rose Hall Hilton. We checked in early and only the first floor rooms were ready so we took it. Great find! Patio outside, walk directlly out to the pool, restaurants. It truly had a bungalow feel. Try the Jamaican patties at the pool restaurants. Yum!

Nice Property!

I recently stayed at the Hilton Rose Hall for four days in November. Some reviews mention construction but I saw no visible signs of renovation other than some structure was being built on the beach and a few signs inside the hotel. Was not disturbed in any way by the construction/construction noise. The hotel is in good condition, nice grounds, and clean rooms. The food is excellent, especially for an all-inclusive. The food is usually just okay at all-inclusive in my experience but there is something here for everyone and the food was of good quality. I found the staff to be extremely friendly, hardworking and pleasant (not sure where the complaints about staff are coming from). No complaints about the bars either. There was never a wait and I found the drinks to be strong. They don't have premium liquors (Ciroc, Grey Goose, etc) but the Jamaican branded rums are good quality and I love the Jamaican rum cream (similar to Baileys). Also, really enjoyed the lazy river/water park/slides. Fun for kids and adults alike. Hotel also has nightly entertainment that was enjoyable and family orientated. All in all, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

First time in Jamaica.

The Hilton Rose Hall was a very attractive beach front resort. The food was varied and for the most part was hot and very good. Our room was always clean, stocked with enough towels, the fridge has water and pop. Suggestion is that it be stocked with a few cold beer. The part that I was very unhappy about was that our toilet was making so much noise it kept us awake at at night. I went through five separate days of speaking with the front desk to get it fixed, then I gave up as it never got done and it didn’t appear that anyone even showed up. This is not up to Hilton standards. I inquired about speaking to a duty Manager but each time one was not around. The resort was great but man get someone in maintenance that knows what they are doing.

Pleasant stay

Would return anytime. Great staff, respectful and welcoming. Good food. Entertainment somewhat repetitive. Fun activities for all ages. Due to construction, access was difficult for those with mobility issues

Didn’t want to leave!

This trip was a birthday gift for my sister and I, from our dad. The 3 of us traveled together and it was our first time visiting Jamaica. Grounds/Hotel: Beautiful! We were impressed by the landscaping and found the resort itself well maintained and welcoming.Rooms: I agree with others who said the rooms could use updating. The tub in particular was rusted and tiny. Shower head was small and dated. My dad, however, had a king room and noted he had a soaking tub which he utilized frequently. So, I guess it depends on which accommodation you have. Also, we were on the 5th floor and could hear everything in the hallways; banging on the walls next door and conversations outside.Food: EXCELLENT! Delicious, fresh, well-seasoned. We were all thoroughly impressed by the buffet and the two restaurants requiring reservations.Service: Hit or miss. The concierge was rude and useless. We utilized her once to attempt to find a lobster dinner and she acted like she had no clue how to find one and made no suggestions aside from to have one on the resort for $60 per person. We noticed overall that no one seemed to go out of their way to be helpful. We also booked a photoshoot but oddly enough, no one told the photographer. We showed up on the designated date and time only to be greeted by confused looks. This was a downside to our stay from “booking” to payment.Pool/water slides: Nice and really fun!Overall I would stay again. Interested to see what it looks like once the construction is completed.
