Iberostar Rose Hall

This wonderful Iberostar hotel is nestled on a stunning tropical beach in beautiful and lively Montego Bay. Built with elegant Colonial architecture, this is the first Iberostar property with an ocean view orientation, so many spectacular views of the sea are visible throughout the hotel. With its world-renowned food and service, numerous activities and relaxing hideaways, this is sure to be a favourite with Canadians.
My husband & I had our honeymoon at Iberostar Grand Rose Hall hotel. Our vacay started September 26-October 3rd. We had more than excellent service. The staff was awesome, from the reception ladies to our Butlers and all the Concierges, we felt right at home ! All the staff, even on the beach are very friendly and make you fell comfortable. I've never went into a vacation where the staff were not running after tips and believe me, it was not the case there. We have timed because they really deserved it ! Food is incredibly good, our ocean view room was awesome and 24 hour room service is paradise on earth. One of the most cleanest & gorgeous beach I have ever seen ! We are planning to go back next year to go see the staff and enjoy the wonderful weather out there, and we are planning to go during the same season as it is low season and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Nothing bad to say about this hotel, Believe us, you'll be treated like absolute royalty ! Love ya'll !
The hotel was amazing. Very clean. Very friendly. Personnel were very friendly. Their services were very good. The staff were great. Have to mention chevy. Bubbles and Stella. Stella kept us active on the beach and with the theater. Over all I would give u all an A+.
Very nice all inclusive in Montego Bay. Food and drinks were above average in quality. We stayed on property due to other Trip Advisor reviewers saying it was a little dicey. We had a good time but did not see any of the entertainment so I can't comment on that. We hung at the pool not the beach. Swim up bar was very cool. Nice place to take clients or sales award winners. Probably would not go back to this property but am going to the Iberostar in Paraiso, Mexico.
Not sure what to say because all the other reviews have mostly covered why the resort is so amazing...The rooms, the beach, the pool, the swim up bar, the ocean, the water, the food, the restaurants, the lobby bar, the shows in the evening, the onsite photographers...ALL AMAZING! However, the staff is what really stands out! From the wonderful housekeepers who decorated our room for my husband birthday and drew us a bath completed with bubbles and rose petals, to our butlers how ALWAYS checked on us, the bartenders remember exactly what we liked to drink, to the Star friends who were so friendly and engaging, also the chef that provided the bar side BBQ (it was one of my favorite meals) was terrific. We have stayed with Iberostar before so that might have played into it but we had great service every time we have stayed at this chain. So let me add what I do on my part to make this trip awesome: 1. Made dinner reservations for the al la carte restaurants ahead of time via email (was able to try all 5- the Jamaica and Surf/turf being my personal favorites) 2. Brought our own pool floats with cup holders (we used them in the pool and the ocean) 3. Brought our own COLD-1 24oz insulated stainless steel tumblers (bought at Costco) which the bartenders made our drinks in and they fit perfectly in our cup holders on our floats 4. Waterproof pouch (hangs around neck)with headphone attachment for IPhone/money that allowed us to listen to my music and take pictures out in the ocean without having to worry about ruining my new iPhone 5. Booking our private transportation to and from the resort ahead of time with Byron's Jamaican Tours- he was awesome, perfectly on time, felt super safe, very informative, and had ice cold red stripes waiting for us when we got in the car 6. Booking Club MOBAY for arrival and departure (flew through customs when we arrived and nice place to wait for flight on departure). Last advice I would like to add is to book a photo shoot with the on-site photographer. The photo shoot is free of cost, you just pay for the picture package you want when done and you get a cd with the photos on it to take home including a release so you own the photos and can print them wherever you want. I'm hoping I can add a few of them to this review. Wayne was our photographer and we was EXCELLENT, we did tip him generously but it was worth every penny. Also we book the first full day we were there and the earliest time available cause it gets hot there fast! So hopefully this was helpful!
Wow is all I can say about this fabulous resort! You will not regret staying here. The customer service rivals any other resort I have stayed at. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy and well taken care of. We had the butler service and they genuinely want to make you stay as wonderful as possible. The resort is not too big, not too small. The 4 specialty restaurants were all delicious. We contacted the resort before we arrived and made our reservations ahead of time. Make sure you reserve a hibachi table at the japanese restaurant. The pools were well taken care of and enjoyable. The beach is calm water and nice. ALL the food and drinks were very good with a nice variety. The resort mostly caters to couples, so there weren't any loud, obnoxious groups. You also have access to the other two Iberostar resorts next door, but we didn't see a need to go there. We are already planning to return next year....that's how great it was!
