Our OpinionWhite beaches with private boardwalks and crystal blue water line this beautiful oceanfront property. Guests at the Royal Decameron Montego Bay can enjoy time in the resort's two swimming pools, both with views of the sea and one with a swim-up bar. At night, try various international and local dishes in Passa Passa and Souk Restaurants before taking in the nightly show and dancing at our private disco. Great value at this Montego Bay resort.

Thanks to everyone at the Royal Decameron for making my time enjoyable. All the staff were brilliant . Front desk , Restaurant staff and entertainment staff . Super Marion , Engery , Flamez . The brilliant dancers . I would highly recommend anyone who looking for good service friendly people. I loved it . Thank to you all.
We have been coming back here since 1988! Lot of hiccups on this stay due to the pending open of the new addition (150) rooms on the old Cornwall beach property adjacent to RDMB. Things were a bit off due to the existing staff teaching the new staff, from grounds keeping to management. This is still the place to be if you want a laid back, nothing fancy, on the water resort! It's right on the Hip strip, close to the airport. You can easily do day trips to Ocho Rios, Negril or the south coast from this resort. Will be going back in May, soon come!Take it nice and easy, grac
Came back from another stay at my second home November 12 th.The hotel is still a little gem, staff always smiling and helping, going over their duties to make sure you have the best vacations.Everything is clean, the room, the landscaping, the bar and buffet, no complain. Always someone cleaning or washing! One thing deceiving me again ,is the new GM quitting again. We had lot's of GM since the last 5 years. The best was Mr. Alvaro Prado and they could not manage to keep him. Since is departure, the food at buffet is awful. The past night food serve the day after Curry goat full of bones and lots of saucy greasy plates are not a good idea to serve to guests. They also shorten the vegies, fruits and cheese plates and the bread section. No toaster for 2 days and no hot sandwiches neither (broke machine) Maybe they can fool new guests but not repeaters like me. The A La Carte showed lack of choices(was good but no real choice) boil eggs done per person, it takes 10 minute to get your plate so your breakfast gets cold, it is evident they are cutting in food budget .Hoping they straight up their act, i will be visiting again in January if not solved i wont go back. I also notice a change of attitude in the kitchen workers, they dont look happy any more. Lots of employees told me they are missing Mr. Prado and have to go by new rules again because new management rules! On a positive note, a special thanks to desk people and management, Nolan and Sergei for taking care of my needs and be so welcoming each time. You are an asset to this hotel and i am hoping to never lose you. See you in January!
People this is not a 5 star hotel! This is a very laid back and relaxing spot. The food is awesome, hotel awesome, staff awesome, water awesome! If you are looking to be treated like a king or queen I recommend you stay elsewhere! After all your vacation is what you make it!
The friendly and relaxed vibe of Jamaica infects this beachside all inclusive resort. We couldnt fail to be impressed by the very friendly and attentive staff. Although the room was fairly basic it was clean and had all we needed and this is after all a 3 star. The seaview from the balcony was wonderful and great to watch the sun set daily.Lots of sun beds and some hammocks on the well kept seafront beach/garden. From some parts of the beach you have to climb into the sea swimming pool style but we found a stretch where we could walk directly into the sea. Plenty of bars and a beach side cafe although while we were there they were doing renovations so not all were available. We were impressed with the buffet restaurant where quality and choice was very good. The A la carte restaurant was a bit of a disappointment so we stuck with the buffet. Many of the guests had been there multiple times, which is always a good sign.It helps if you like rum, well this is Jamaica!
