Our OpinionWhite beaches with private boardwalks and crystal blue water line this beautiful oceanfront property. Guests at the Royal Decameron Montego Bay can enjoy time in the resort's two swimming pools, both with views of the sea and one with a swim-up bar. At night, try various international and local dishes in Passa Passa and Souk Restaurants before taking in the nightly show and dancing at our private disco. Great value at this Montego Bay resort.

Location: Directly on the beach in the heart of Montego Bay, within walking distance of the famous 'Hip Strip', only 5 minutes from the airport.
This is a Budget hotel, in a nice place , located just 5 minutes away of the airport of Montego bay. Just 2 -5 minutes walking to Dr. Cave club that has great food, drinks and a wonderful beach . Margaritaville and fun spots on the Hip strip. back to the hotel , all rooms are beach front, pool is nice and clean. They have water sports at the beach. Food and Drinks are so good. Snack bar area is very good and a fast service. This is the best time because hotel is not to full so there are no lines to order drinks or food, beach is beautiful with a lot of sunsets to see! Great weather. People in Jamaica are very customers service oriented, you will have a great time . Like they say all the time, No Problem!!!
This is a must resort to stay in. This was all inclusive with a room overlooking the amazing ocean. The people were fantastic, the food was plentiful and delicious and the rooms were large. The staff were very helpful and went to the extreme to make sure you enjoyed yourself.
So after we left the Sea Gardens Resort due to poor service, we decided to stay here for the 2nd half of the week. Very pleased with the accommodations.Nice beach, with plenty of water sports and other activities, lots of places to eat. Friendly environment, still not a crazy party atmosphere but meets all of the other qualifications of a good resort. Snack bar is good, food selection is good, ac in room works well, good room cleanliness. Definitely made the 2nd half of my stay more comfortable.
I have been here many times before and this stay was very disappointing. I have not been here in recent years but it used to be fabulous. The former staff was so friendly and could not do enough for you. For this stay the staff is the most unaccommodating I have ever encountered. With the exception of a few wait staff and a couple of housekeeping staff there was not a smile anywhere. If you ask for anything they look at you like you have asked them to come clean your toilet with a toothbrush. Bar staff is beyond terrible. Women get preferential treatment and men have to wait to be served. Many times my husband was totally ignored for so long he went to a different bar. The food was terrible and there are hours daily that you cannot get anything to eat. Morning coffee starts at 7.not 6:58 or 6:59. No one seems to care about the guests. Rooms are in bad shape and they charge to use the safe in the rooms as well as for a fridge. The night manager, Leon Porter is rude and when we were trying to speak with him was constantly on his phone texting. The staff spends so much time talking to each other they cannot be bothered with their jobs. Pool hours are 9AM-5PM. I have never heard of anything do stupid in my life. The noise level was unbearable especially on Wednesday when they have a beach party. We could not hear ourselves think in our rooms with all windows and doors closed. Do not stay here!!
Of all the resorts I've stayed at in the Caribbean, this is my least favorite...and I've stayed at most. The hotel is very dated. The only modern upgrade was the TV but who wants to spend time at a Resort watching TV. This resort should be given a star-rating of 1. I asked the front desk for the Wifi password and was quoted some ridiculous fees. They denied me from from taking a meal to the room when my wife didn't feel well enough to go out for breakfast. And the employees are clealy unhappy with their job because they complained openly about it. It's unfortunate because the property is beautiful but the employees moral are very low. We would not recommend this location unless some major improvements are made.
