Our OpinionIf you are looking for the "lively" vacation that Hedonism resorts are all about, then Hedonism II is the place. A lot of visitors here are repeat clientele.
Hedonism 11 is the best place to be doesn't matter the age or anything, me and my boyfriend were the youngest (22 years old) and that didn't mean anything. From making my reservation with Sheene Clarke to checking in everything was great that time...but it got greater at the buffet with Nord he served us each day and he remembered that I can't have citrus from I told him once ...the bell man the room the housekeeper towel guy not mention Jermaine from the Japanese restaurant he's an awesome talented guy....Iysha girl your just fun all time all smiles and the rest of the entertainment staff... thanks for a great time see you guys in December
I've been to Hedonism II at least 5 times and will be returning this year October to celebrate my birthday. I usually go in July with the AWOL Group but due to renewing my Vows this July, I had to reschedule that leg of the trip. If you really want to have a great time and not have to deal with kids, then this is the place to be. A party every day and every night. Food readily available throughout the day. You can either get involved in the activities that are taking place or you can find a quiet place all to yourself. It's an adult venue so if you are offended by nudity then it's not the place to be. Oh yeah, TOP SHELF alchohol. There is a great staff in place from entertainment to cooks, from maintenance to bartenders. Ladies, find Shontale and ask for the Shontale Special but make sure your significant other is close by after a couple of them because you just might need a shoulder to lean on. Austin makes the best omlets, and Lorna and her staff are certifiably the best. You can go with your spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, or just go single as I have most of the time. Although my wife has gone with me on two occassions and we have had the greatest of times, I have just as much fun when I go alone. ENJOY!
From Palm Springs to Jamaica another fine vacation. Weather was great and resort is clean and inviting. Food was fantastic with Top notch restaurants. Resort is split between clothing optional and nude. Nude side is adult activity plus. We had a crazy time and one night event was a 20ft tall foam spray tower that filled a 24x24 pit. Imagine 70 naked adults covered in foam partying their tail off. This is a bucket list don't miss for a true life adventure. What a great way to wake up a relationship.
After not being able to get āhomeā to Hedo II in 2016, we finally returned for trip #21, 4/22-4/29/17.As we have done in the past, with our arrival flight not landing until 3pm we decided to spend the 1st night of our Jamaica Vacation at Travellers Beach Hotel ā which weād recommend to anyone that might think (like us), when the option is to check in at 6pm or laterā¦weāll stay at a nice $80/night hotel close by, and check into Hedo at 8:30 the next morning. I should also mention that our flight into MBJ landed at 2:40 Friday afternoon ā and the immigration lobby was EMPTY. We walked right thru to the first available counter, passports stamped in a minute and off to get our bags that were already off the carousel. Walking off the plane to the airport exit & to our waiting taxi (Mr. Reasonable, Linley Grant) in about 20 minutes. I think the people from our flight that booked Club MoBay probably took longer to get thru!Hedo continues to improve. The resort was near/at capacity on our arrival day. Arrived by taxi at 8:30am, greeted with hugs & handshakes by Ojell ā one of Hedoās excellent bellman. We were traveling with friends & we were both pleasantly surprised to find our Garden View Regular booking was upgraded to Garden View Nude (H Block). The physical plant of the property continues to see upgrades. New AC in the rooms worked great (set the vent so the air isnāt blowing right on you while in bed). We had not problems with bugs or water in room 2147.Maybe because it took so much of the criticism for years, Iāll comment specifically on how very much improved the dining experiences continue to be. Sure, there will be an occasional dish not to your liking, but as a whole, we both feel it is no wonder H2 is the most recent winner of the JTB/Gleaner āBest In Cuisineā award. Chef Anthony Miller has, over the last couple of years, not only improved the quality & selections, but he has clearly created a culture of excellence on his team. He & his chefs and staff are always visible: checking temps, cleaning & replacing serving utensils, restocking/replacing, wiping down service areas, etc. We ate at all 3 restaurants as well as the main dining room. No reservations needed for the restaurants, but get there early if you donāt want to wait. One tip we suggest, if your first time, eat at HarrySan early in the trip, they will seat 8 around the grill and it's a good way to meet other guests. The disco has been undergoing renovations. Not sure if they are completed or if it is open, we never made a stop by to check at night. The Tuesday night Rave party on the main pool deck was probably the one evening event we most enjoyed. Good mix of music: oldies, reggae, rockā¦it does tho always seem to go ātechnoā at some point & then that is all they play. Which is fine, I guessā¦usually about when weāre sweating & ready to move on to the next thing. The Thursday night foam party was held on the old āice rinkā next to the disco. We did not go into the foam, watched from the pool deck above ā it looked like the foam was so high, anyone shorter than six foot would disappear into it.We spend most of our days at the nude pool with some occasional quiet/lounge time on the prude beach. Loungers on both beaches could be found without too much trouble. Hard to find one at the nude pool, unless you get there very early. We were there with the Playful Pussycats group, and the Hedo Switch-Hitters & Biffās Bunch were also there. All good groups we look forward to seeing again. The PP had a number of group activities that most members attended (many open to all, even if you didnāt book with them). DJ Mark Maze was there courtesy of Tomās Trips and played a few of the afternoons. He plays most requests and does a great job mixing up the play list.Evening entertainment seemed to be almost exclusively Entertainment Coordinator driven, which is fine ā we know they are a hard working group of very talented kids, but it does really seem to become the same dances to the same songs almost every night. We miss there not being the outside acts occasionally ā maybe we were lucky in years past, but it seemed every week had a show with the Silver Birds Steel Drum Band. And the Friday night gala is great, but ārock star nightā and Winston singing Purple Rain for the umpteenth time could be changed up.Piano Bar continues to be a fun place, with Eldon behind the bar (one of the best they have). Was never really crowded in there during the week, maybe because the Playful Pussycats would have a meet & greet every night. We did our best to singā¦and sing along with others!Being repeaters at Hedo, we sometimes feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. Same thing over & over and you just want it to end. We think maybe itās time to try someplace else. Rates have risen a bit in the last couple of years. But then we think: we love vacationing where we can be naked, we love the all-inclusives (and Grey Goose, VX and other top shelf alcohol that Hedo carries), we love the ānaughtinessā and sexy atmosphere of the place (where else can your beautiful wife wear next to nothing out to dinnerā¦), we love that MBJ is a convenient flight for us ā and then we thinkā¦when can we get back!
I have been multiple times to this location and the now closes location in Jamaica the staff are always super friendly waiting on your every desire. The resort is clean the entertainment staff get to know you and often recognize you from year to year The drinks are great the food is great the possibilities are hedonistic lol just don't buy art to be shipped back you will never see it. Do but sarongs and woodcrafts
