Nine ladies stayed for 7 nights and enjoyed every moment! Staff took excellent care of us as we sat on the beach for hours. Enjoyed the breakfast and lunch buffet -- anything a guest could wish for was available. The evening meals were special and each restaurant treated the group like royalty! Many attractions including spa services, swimming with dolphins and bobsled and zip line at nearby Mystic Mountain. I have already recommended this place to friends who plan to travel to Jamaica. This is an all inclusive hotel/resort.
Wonderful, our first trip to Jamaica! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The food an service is top notch. The property have so many pool and the beach. The weather was perfect. I will definitely come back!
I've never experienced resort-life before, much less an all-inclusive one, so I wasn't sure what to think when my mom, toddler and I left Houston for Jamaica earlier this month. As soon as we got through customs in Montego Bay, we were greeted warmly by Moon Palace staff, welcoming us to Jamaica and leading us to our own private shuttle bus (most resorts share the service, but Palace guests enjoy an exclusive shuttle). We felt very safe and cared for by our driver Earl, as we snaked along the island's north coast toward Ocho Rios, about 90 minutes away. When we pulled up to Moon Palace, all three of us were greeted with flowers, cool towels and flutes of pineapple-ginger juice. Quite the welcome committee! The front-desk staff was quick to shift our room assignment to better meet our needs, and after a quick sales pitch, we were headed to our room. Without hashing out every detail of every minute of our experience, let me say this, the staff at Moon Palace bend over backwards to make sure guests feel like royalty. Coming from our humble Midwestern roots, this treatment felt a bit disorienting. But we adjusted quickly to the high level of service! Highlights: The Kids' Club! My daughter isn't old enough to stay there without us, so my mom and I took turns hanging out with her. This place is AMAZING. If you're considering taking kids to Moon Palace, you won't be sorry. The facilities and play stuffs are spot on (popcorn machine for snack time!)-- and the staff are incredible.. And we really enjoyed getting to visit with all of them: Donna, Dwana, Simone, Odeen and Jermaine. I'd love to see them all again one day. Momo. This fine-dining Asian fusion restaurant was our favorite. The first meal we had there was served by a wonderful man named Charles. We had sushi and a couple Chinese entrees - all very good. Two nights later we returned for the Hibachi experience, which was also delicious and entertaining thanks to Chef Shannon. Our fellow diners were fun to visit with and welcomed having a 2-year old at the table. Breakfast buffet at Buccaneers. What's not to like about made-to-order poached eggs and omelets and a mimosa/bloody mary bar? We would spend a leisurely hour+ here every morning, drinking coffee and cocktails and filling the kid up with wonderful fruit. Major thanks to Norda Ann, Serena and the rest of the crew who doted on us. Wet Bar. This was my first time experiencing a swim-up bar. Nicholas, the seasoned bartender, was a blast to talk to and made me a couple of really delicious tropical beverages that I'm still thinking about. And when I had my family there with me, he happily served the kiddo diluted juice (per my request). Waterslide. I LOVE waterslides and this one never had a line. So fun! It's hard to think of any negative feedback that would be worth sharing - it was overwhelmingly positive. We'd all go back in a heartbeat.
My wife and I visited In February. The staff was all amazing from the front desk to the hostess at the restaurant to the pool bar tender. The most impressionable person was Michael from one of the pool bars, he was very inviting and he had wonderful drinks to recommend. He was absolutely a blast to hang out with! YEAH MAN!! Visit him and request the 50 shades of Jamaica!
I recently returned from the Moon Palace Jamaica Grande Resort. I stayed there Feb 4-13, 2017 The property is beautiful. I don't have any complaints. The food, service, etc. are top notch. I really enjoyed being right in Ocho Rios and having great access to the town, nightlife, cuisine. etc. The staff makes you feel right at home and are always going out of there way to accommodate your needs and make sure you are enjoying your holiday and are comfortable. If you have any specific questions please don't hesitate to contact me.
