We have been coming to same place for 20 years. It provides clean rooms, great beach access, and is located on the Costera with many restaurants and shopping. Our beach waiters Gregario and Roberto provide the best service and tend to all our needs. The one issue we had this year was no English speaking channels on TV except CNN but we dealt with it but for our money there is no better hotel on the beach. El Proximo Ano
Room was clean and good size with a small balcony and sea view. Comfy bed.Visited over a weekend and the hotel was very busy with queues for the restaurant and lifts. Popular with Mexican families rather than international tourists. I have food allergies so struggled with the food but staff made a great effort and cooked food to order when there was little I could eat from the buffet. Good bar staff who were always busy.
Best beach on Acapulco Bay! Close to walking Park! Walk to Shopping area and resturants! Krystal Beach's Aquamarine Resturant has one of the best views of Acapiulco Bay! Resturant offers buffet but for best food order off menu! Ask for Natyeli'stables (Best waitress in Acapluco)! Menu prices reasonable!
This hotel is located in the middle of the Acapulco bay, in the golden zona. Si everything is at a considerable distance. If you want to go out at night, everything is pretty close. A cousin of mine recommended this hotel in Acapulco for our 2 year wedding anniversary trip, so we booked a 3 night - 4 day stay in all inclusive (optional), since you can only book a room ir room+breakfast. The received us and no complementary drink was served, so don't expect one.The front desk lady was really sweet since I let her know the motive of our trip and she kindly helped us get am upgrade on our room since we had a mountain view regular room and she got us an ocean view Junior suite free of charge. The room was not fancy at all, definitively bigger than the other rooms, but with a spectacular view of both sides of the Acapulco bay.If this hotel needs to improve something is the food. We had an awful time deciding what to eat due to the lack of options and the poor taste on the main restaurant. The snack bar offers the usual, burgers, hotdogs, fries and nachos with cheese, no more, no less. The seafood restaurant was closed due to the low occupation since it was not vacation season yet.The pool area is a little bit small, but they have a nice jacuzzi area, a kiddie pool and a separate pool with a water slide, which keeps most of the kids away from the regular pool. So I guess win-win situation. The waiters at the beach area are amazing, just don't be cheap and tip them nicely, and they'll bring unlimited food and beverages from the snack bar to your "palapa" at the Beach. By the está, the Beach area is nice, at least at the moment, clean, which was nice, no rocks, smooth sand. There is a VIP Beach area for extra cost, but wasn't worth it at the time, maybe on crowded seasons, but not at the time. There are no shows or entertainment at night, but the bar is open till late at night.
We stayed here recently and thought the place was pretty good. It is an older building that probably hasn't been as kept up date as it could be, particularly in the rooms. That is however, reflected in the price you pay. We had an ocean view room and the view was spectacular, breakfast was good and decently priced. The woman who checked us in was lovely. It's such a shame we were treated so poorly at check out, the woman was incredibly rude to us and forced us to go back to our room to get a small cardboard ticket for a beach towel we had not used, this is despite me explaining I had left the card on the dresser and that we didn't have time to return as we were late for our bus. She would not let my boyfriend wait outside until I had retuned. I have absolutely no idea why as we had paid in full on arrival. It's a real shame as the experience left a bad taste in our mouth.
