Our Opinion

The Beach Palace is a resort that speaks true to its luxury rating. The rooms aren't anything to rave about, but it's always well-maintained and immaculate. Some rooms promise great views of the ocean. Good cuisine to choose from with regards to both a la carte and buffet items. The resort is in a prime location. There are shopping malls and restaurants. Nightclubs and bars can be found a short taxi ride away. Ther resort team is amazing. They work to ensure that all guests are being accommodated and that their needs and concerns are being met. For travelers wanting a quiet and luxurious place to relax, this is the place.

Beach Palace has everything for a great family vacation from relaxation to fun-filled daily activities. The exclusive Kids Club caters to the kids with supervised children's activities, while the adults can sit back in two interconnecting swimming pools, lounge with cocktails on the wonderful beach or get active with water sports.

Location: Beach Palace is located beachfront in the Cancun hotel zone, 15 min to downtown Cancun, 30 min from the airport.

  • Room service 24 hours a day
  • Kids club
  • Free wifi throughout hotel
  • Three swimming pools

Best beach vacation

Our vacation at the Beach Palace was one of the best vacations!!! My family (myself and an 11 year old daughter and 16 year old son) spent 6 days at the Beach Palace in Cancun from April 13-April 19.We were going for the beach and the waves, and they didn't disappoint. We spent hours upon hours in the water playing in the waves. The waves were so fun and the water temperature was perfect. The beach was beautiful with white, soft sand, lounges and umbrellas, the water is a gorgeous aquamarine color.......absolutely breathtaking. The view from our balcony was stunning. Pictures don't do it justice. The service at Beach Palace was incredible. The staff was unbelievably friendly and welcoming. Let me start with Jannet, from the buffett, always smiling and helpful. The servers we had Gabriel, Ernesto, and Filberto were always smiling and paid such attention to detail. Gabriella was the chef and was always welcoming us with a smile every morning and would make made to order omelettes, pancakes, and waffles. For the early risers who want to get in a good workout, Emma led crossfit and yoga classes in the early morning on the rooftop (an amazing way to start your day) and Emma also led the paddle yoga classes in the pool at 10:00 AM every morning. She did an amazing job teaching and leading the classes. I have done regular yoga before, but paddle yoga was new to me. It's definitely worth it to get up early and do some of these classes with Emma. They were all so professional and fun at the same time. I was so impressed with the entertainment staff. Lucy, Rene, and Caua were so engaging and fun with all the kids at the Beach Palace. They did a wonderful job of including them, and they led by example. They actually played in the games with the kids. They would say hello to the kids by name. We would be walking through the pool area to the beach, and I would hear the entertainment staff say hello to my kids using their names. I was impressed with how they remembered all the kids names and went out of their way to say hi and invite them to the next activity or the show at night. There were also so many activities for my kids to get involved in. Games at the pool included pool basketball, water polo, water volleyball. Beach games included beach volleyball, beach soccer. The one show I would recommend is the breakdancing show.....those guys, MFC were incredibly talented. If you go to beach palace, don't miss that show. Our room was impeccably clean and kept that way for our entire stay. Clean, smooth lines and simple decor, with a balcony that has a chaise double lounge with a beautiful view of the ocean. I was impressed with room service, whenever we called for something, they were at our door within minutes, always asking if there was anything else we needed. Our fridge was always stocked and the turn-down service was a nice touch. Beach service was also excellent. Jonathan was always there to see if we needed more to drink or wanted anything to eat. We wanted to take full advantage of the resort and the ocean, however we did use the resort credits for two excursions, which I would highly recommend. We went to the dolphin swim (which I thought was better than discovery cove in florida) You get more interaction with the dolphins and its less expensive. We also went to chicke itza, out tour guide vincent was so knowledgable and informative. Both excursions were excellent and time well spent. I also used resort credit for a massage. So the resort credit can definitely be used for some great trips. You do have to pay tax, but that is a fraction of the cost you would spend if you paid out of pocket. Some of the things I loved most about Beach Palace is even though are it is a smaller resort, so it has a comfy and cozy feel to it. It feels more personal. There are also people there from all across the globe. Its a great opportunity to meet people from other countries and cultures. I would definitely recommend beach palace. I usually try to visit different places, but beach palace has me seriously considering going back. My kids loved it, I loved it.

Not a 5***** more like a 4****, If not for staff then a 3***

On the 08th June 2017 my wife and I visited this hotel for an 11 night all-inclusive holiday to celebrate our 25th anniversary. This was booked through Thomsons HOLIDAY IN GENERAL – 4****We did enjoy the holiday very much with the food and the staff the very best that probably made this holiday. I would only come back to see the staff again but the lack of renovation , the terrible noise issues and constant building work at either side has totally put me off. If you want a chilled relaxing holiday then this is not the place for you as it is just noise , noise , noise wherever you go. I'm glad I've experienced it but to be it was not worth the £5000 we paid for 11 nightsENTRANCE /RECEPTION –3***First impressions didn't look good , what an awful entrance for a 5***** hotel. After a long arduous journey it was nice to be offered a welcome drink (although it was tasteless) and a single flower for the wife. We arrived late afternoon and was offered an upgrade for a fee of 60 dollars a night which we declined as we had already spent nearly £5,000 on the holiday. We were then asked to wait 20 minutes for the room to be ready - not acceptable after a 10 hour flight ! Only ever used reception to change money. Check out was very quick and no problemsBELLBOY/ LUGGAGE – 5*****Delivered quite quickly to the room and picked up at time we askedROOMS 410 – 3***Rooms were okay but nothing special and could do with redecorating. Everything in room was good - bed, safe, straightners , hairdryer etc. The room is looking very tired and to be honest needs a refurbishment to get it up to the 5 ***** it is classed as. Very loud wind noise which persisted continuously for the entire time we were there - it was a few days into the holiday that I sussed it was this as I thought it was a cleaner outside cleaning the corridor floor with a machine .When I opened the door the noise went. This wind noise was usually in the late afternoon whilst trying to have a nap before going out. The air conditioning unit blows directly on to your faces when you are in bed, again very uncomfortable. We did not have one undisturbed night's sleep throughout the entire holiday due to the complete lack of any sound-proofing and the hotel acoustics noise from exuberant guests shouting and running up and down the corridors banging on walls and slamming doors which was very annoying and woke us up several times. None of the above is acceptable in a supposedly 5 ***** hotel.HOUSEKEEPING- 5*****Housekeeping was superb and everything we asked for we was given, GEORGE was our housekeeper and he always cleaned the room between when we left for breakfast and came back after lunch. A brilliant employeeTHE HOTEL- 4****First impressions we were very disappointed but next morning it all looked a bit better .The hotel was 12 floors high with a pool and skybar on the top overlooking either the sea or the lagoon. You could enter the hotel from the very unimposing front and exit out through the back to the pool area and beach, but no grounds or nice areas to walk in. There was a shop with various goods and jewellery at very high prices and you felt pestered in there so never went back in. No nice areas to sit and relax apart from one couch in the lobby which was always full and very noisy. Apart from the Stadium bar and your room there was nowhere to go - needs a bar open at night by the beach just to chill with a drink without the usual cascade of noise. On the roof there was a gymnasium, two pools (one with a bar), an indoor seating area and numerous sun loungers but no shade (the one area I would have thought you needed it most). The main plus point was the views from the roof area were spectacular. The whole hotel including that monstrosity of an arch over the main pool needed refurbishment. All you could hear throughout the day was heavy distorted bass from the sound system (you could hear this from the end of the beach)RESTAURANTS – 5****We were impressed with the food except that it was never piping hot. We did try the Wok and the Italian once and everything was ok but our favourite was the Steak house outside ( but the wind was rather cool and spoiled it on a couple of occasions so i would suggest this be covered). The Self service buffet was very good for breakfast and lunch. The one toaster at breakfast time was both inadequate and not very reliable. Deserts were generally very good. No complaints at all POOL AREA - 4****The pools themselves were rather tired looking and we really didn't use them as they didn't look very inviting and clean. Towels were very adequate and freely available. Towel man MIKE was my mate ! Sun lounger numbers barely adequate but had there been more available there was nowhere to put them apart from the beach. Activities during the day were again all noisy and boisterous. Night shows - only the Michael Jackson worth watchingBEACH – 5*****Very nice beach but, although not the hotels fault, too dangerous to swim. We knew this when we booked. We were told that as the beach at the moon palace was not as good as the one at this hotel, masses of holidaymakers from the Moon Palace descended onto the Beach Palace every day which meant that an already overstretched hotel was strained even further which impacted on the guests who had booked into the Beach Palace. The sunloungers s could have been of better quality and a couple of times in the morning there was still rubbish from the day before. We booked this holiday to relax on beach everyday and it fulfilled our needs although not the facilities of a 5***** hotelHOTEL STAFF –10***********The staff were very good and what make this hotel so special although it was very obvious that if you didn't tip or forget to tip you never got the same level of service- this seemed to mostly apply to the beach service as all restaurants and buffet the working staff were awesome and very attentive. We were served by many staff and the ones that stand out to us and are a credit to the hotel areBuffet - Gabriel ( Hope your English training is coming along nicely), Janett, Sonia, Andros, Diego. Only had breakfast and lunch here everyday Steak House - Alexandre, Enrique, Gasper, Gilberto, Francisco and the young lady who reserves your table (sorry forgot her name ) These workers were very friendly and attentive hence the reason we hate here 8 out of 11 nightsBeach Service - Yadira Celene, Fidel, Lurs Silva , all kept the lager / cocktails for the wife and water for me comingStadium Bar - Carolina , Miguel Rizo, Rudy , again kept the cocktails and amaretto and cokes comingIf I've forgotten anyone I'm sorry I'm useless with names

Great locatin and beach

This place offers great incentives and is in a wonderful location. The food was ok, the restaurants were okay, but the service was exceptional. We are returning again because of the credits. Hopefully we can use them all this time.

Fitness Amenities

While the gym is small, there is plenty of outside area to supplement. Additionally, the classes are fun and offered daily. The yoga class in particular was awesome thanks to Emma. She is not only knowledgeable but, leads the class according to the experience of those attending. She always asked what we would like to work on and provided tips throughout.

fabulous hotel ,friendly and very welcoming

As a family we stayed at beach palace from14th april to 21st .although towards the end of the week the weather became a bit stormy it was still very warm .The hotel was amazing ,we had a sea view apartment with jaccuzi and it was beautiful to wake up every day to a abreathtaking view. The food was incredible and there was plenty of variety ,catering for vegitarians and gluten free .breakfast and dinner was always served with a smile .THE STAFF CAN NOT DO ENOUGH FOR YOU.Whilst sitting by the pool and beach we were waited on hand and foot .we had oru own waiter who would never let our drink run dry ,he was fabulous ,he worked so hard as they all do and always had a smile or and brief conversation .We would very much like to thank Jonathon our waiter for making our holiday that bit more special .Thankyou and hope to come back again x
