The resort was beautiful but I will genuinely miss all of the staff we have met! Adrien was a great entertainer and super fun/nice. Carlos we saw for brunch everyday at the buffet we loved him. There was pool parties everyday as well as other pools for a more relaxing environment. Food was excellent and the rooms were nice as well.
My husband and I went for 6 days to celebrate our 7yrs. Wedding anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place for our stay! The resort was everything we were looking for!! I am a partyer and my husband is more of a chiller and the resort offered us both party and chill when needed!! If looking for a party time make sure to book your stay during a weekend as the resort is more chill during the week which again was perfect for the two of us. The customer service was top notch in all parts of the resort!! The fellow vacationers were fabulous as well might I add!! My husband and I had a ball meeting other people from all over the world!!! I will definitely be booking us another trip at breathless!! Friendly reminder tip, tip, tip!!! The customer service was already great but of course tips always butters people up to be more excellent!!!
We stayed at this property June 2016, after it was only open for 10 days. Wonderful resort, clean and chic, great food options, excellent entertainment daily and nightly. Definitely a resort for the adult looking for a lively and social crowd. If you are looking to get away and find a peaceful corner I would recommend you book the Xhale Club.
We just returned from 7 days at this resort and I want to provide an honest review as I know most people read these to select their resorts. We were celebrating a special occasion and reserved a swim out room on the Exhale side of the resort (PERFECT SELECTION). The resort is divided into three sections and with that I would also say three sections of people and their preferences. The Exhale side of the resort is the quiet side with an older crowd and a very peaceful vibe. We met several people at both our swim out pool and the main pool that also is ocean front. The views were amazing, and the service at the pool and the pool restaurant A+. The seating is excellent around the pool with chairs in the water and several places to move if you so choose. It was never crowded, and we were completely relaxed. Our room was beautiful, with a rain shower beautiful balcony, and very clean and contemporary. The Exhale side offers many perks including Ricardo (bartender) at the private lounge and the several trays of snack food throughout the day if you don't want a large meal. We went to the gym and spa everyday. Since we had a swim out room the spa allowed us to use the hydro pool for free everyday. We ran then got in the hot sauna, steam room, ice bath and hydro pool, the facilities are second to none and I am use to the Ritz and Waldorf Aasoria. Very best spa and the deep tissue messages we got were the best I've ever had. The food was very good but to be honest the restaurant on our side was the best Kabbah-our waiter Victor made sure we were seated with an ocean view for dinner whenever we arrived. We never had to make reservations or wait, and everything was good. The service was impeccable, and I'm a picky customer. My every need was addressed and taken care of and since the resort was at 70% capacity this made getting what you need even more achievable. I cannot say enough about the service, but you pay for the upgrades and you will be glad that you did. Some small challenges to mention. The middle pool music was loud, and full of 20/30 somethings that truly only came to "join the party" I would have been very displeased had our room been facing that pool. The farthest pool was the pool where anything goes (topless) etc.. and if that is your prerogative that would meet your needs. We quickly realized that we were not there for those reasons and very happy to be on the private club side to get away from the crazy as I say:) There were many activities, but for the most part we stayed on the resort. The only restaurant that I did not like was the grill due to the fact that a steak in the US is not the same in Mexico so a bit disappointing but we left and went back to the Exhale club and all was well again. Never will you go hungry on the Exhale side of the resort. The Spoon breakfast buffet is amazing, and has a true international flare. The gift shop is very expensive so bring your own sunscreen because you will need it daily. The beach was closed due to all the seaweed that washed up. It was basically unusable for swimming, but beautiful to walk on and take pictures. I have been to resorts in Mexico before, and I think this one is a very enjoyable place to stay! I would certainly go back.
My husband and I stayed here in April for a week. We have visited quite a few Caribbean/Mexican resorts but this was by far the best one. The rooms were trendy and large with a very comfortable bed. The daytime entertainment was fantastic. The foam party was a particular highlight. The leading point about this hotel is the food. It was exceptional. I genuinely didn't eat a bad thing. I would recommend booking into the hibachi place as this was amazing!
