Our Opinion

The Oasis Palm is a great hotel for young or student travelers that are looking for a great place to party. The party atmosphere can be felt both inside and outside of the resort. The pools play host to parties during the day and the city center is nearby, where there are plenty of nightclubs and bars. The food is OK here. While there is an array of choices available, it's nothing to write about. Their bar staff deserve recognition, as they are known for speedy and great service. The rooms are well maintained and cleaned regularly by attentive staff. The check-in and check-out process is a hit or miss at times. Depending on the volume of guests coming into the hotel, guests might experience slower service that usual. This is an OK hotel. However, if you're looking for a resort that's known for it's laid-back and relaxing atmosphere, it's better to look elsewhere.

Awesome Stay for the Family

Great to visit with Children, and must check out the exceptional White Box and the Careyes restaurants for excellent French cuisine- hidden gems. The Parasailing and Seadoing is a blast too! Have great entertainment i.e. Fire Show, and Oasis vintage band (husband and wife) also join the jazz band. Christmas and New Year were well planned for both children and adults i.e. Santa and the Grinch, New Year party was superbly planned out and fun!

Great for Families

Stay was enjoyable. All in all Resort met all our needs. Staff was wonderful if you don’t count front desk staff check in was painful and long. Front desk staff busy helping each other instead of completing a check in we waited 30 minutes behind 1 couple. Rest of staff amazing happy, courteous, polite and constantly willing to help. Rooms dated but very clean. Always great selection at both buffets. Late night snack lines and daytime beach bar lines are long . But your on holidays RELAX! Great place for families would not return with out kids.

Not as good as Grand one, but still nice.

After staying in Grand Oasis Palm few years ago, we've spent a week in Oasis Palm. I'd say, if you get a meaningful discount and you're not picky, go for it.You'd be limited to just 2 restaurants, few bars, and few zones are for Grand only. However, let me tell you, just two of their buffets provide a sufficient food variety (and quality) unless you're 4-5 stars person only :) Yet, you get much more.Rooms are clean. However, if you don't take an ocean view room (we've upgrade for $22/night) then you'd be facing their facility backyard and a busy road not too far from your windows). You get quite a lot of activities during the day and a nightly show.Kayaks, team sports (volley mostly).Usually there are enough "deck chairs"(or what they're called) for everyone on a beach. Beach itself is big and clean.Internet is extra, $30 per 5 days, per device.

Great family trip at the Oasis Palm

We just got back from nine days at the Oasis Palm. It's probably one of the best all-inclusive resorts I've ever been to. No, it's not a five-star hotel, but the resort is superb - the rooms are small but spotless, the staff and service are exceptional, the food is fantastic, especially the specialty restaurants and the grounds are beautiful. It's a perfect vacation resort for families - I wouldn't go here without children. We loved everything about it and we were a group of 12 people. All were happy. Just watch out for the birds on the beach - they poop on everything, including you! We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you, Oasis Palm, and all the amazing staff for a wonderful, outstanding vacation!

All inclusive on a budget

The Osais Palm is a quite nice hotel, with, as far as I have found, the best all inclusive rates in the area. Its rooms are large and clean and it offers a a few restaurant options.the pros are: reasonable prices; near downtown; a "normal people" audience - my wife loved the fact that people were "normal" middle-class folks (and not supermodels); great outdoor swimming area.the cons: very noisy nightclub (impossible to sleep well on weekends), crowded with loud teenagers (I guess because of the price); poor maintenance on common areas; very deep swimming pool for kids with less than ideal supervision - very scary; very small beach...All in all it was a nice stay, but I have to add that Cancun, as a whole, was a great disappointment. Will not return.
