The Oasis Smart is an OK hotel to stay at in Cancun. This place is more fitting for those who are in Cancun for business rather than leisure. It is highly recommended that travelers who are looking for a peaceful night's sleep, to request a room near the hotel zone, as a majority of the rooms are situated near the city (making for an incredibly disruptive sleep). The food options here are OK. While the quality of the food is good, the choices get a little redundant. They also don't carry a variety of food. While the rooms are clean, they are in need of a good upgrade (there have been reports of chipped paint and broken in-suite appliances). For those who have a busy itinerary, will be out of the resort grounds often, or those doing a short-term stay in Cancun, The Oasis Smart is a good hotel to get you by. However, for the price you pay, it's better to look at other options along Cancun.

We arrived around 11pm and the service and check in was fast and easy. The staff is very kind and our rooms were big, comfortable, clean and quiet. You have access to the swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym for free. There is a really nice club and a pop art restaurant for the evenings. You have access to several buses and taxis. The hotel has also a private parking and wifi for free. The staff always give you advices and help if you need it. Besides, you find bottles of water, tea and coffee in your room every day. We loved the room they have to read because you can often find some free food and juices while you read and relax with your favourite books.
Nice hotel, not far from kukulcanRooms are large, pool and breakfast buffet were good Good value for money i wd say, u wont get bad surprise maybe bathroom which is small but for young and not difficult couple we were pleased to spend time there and will book it again if i have to
I arrived in Cancun on New Year's Eve. I knew it would be busy so I booked my room on their website in August. Four days prior to my stay, I had received a second confirmation email. When I showed up in the evening, after traveling half way around the world that day, they told me I didn't have a reservation. They found me a more expensive room in the budget hotel across the road and got me out of the building as fast as they could. When I went back, a different staff member helped me work out that they had accidentally entered my booking for the wrong date, and proceeded to cancel it, though none of this was told to me before my travels. If you do choose to stay at this hotel, do NOT book through their own website. It's a worthless booking. In this instance, apparently it's safer to go through a third party booking system.
Only stayed here for 3 nights. Didn't go to the pool, restaurants or spa. This review is only for customer service and room 601.Hotel location - close to R1 and R2 buses which both go to hotel zone, 20 min walk to ADO bus station and 20 min walk to Malecon plaza/Pasteleteria which is the meeting place for Xplor (Xcaret, xichen, all oyher Xperiencia tours). The hotel is also close to a supermarket, banks, and other bus stops. Tip: on the corner of Tulum Avenue and Kukulcan blvd, there's an elote street vendor which was fun to try. Don't be afraid of the chilli powder lolCustomer service - They made a mistake in giving us a room with double beds instead of a king bed which I had originally booked, but they made up for it by giving us an upgrade to 601 (more like revege jk see review of room 601 below). They also let us print our vouchers for our tours. Customer service reps were really helpful especially about getting around downtown.Room 601: thank God the AC was loud because there was a louder equipment above or somewhere near our room. It's a short, repetitive, loud vibrating sound with a loud thump at the end. Sounded like a washing machine with a never ending cycle. I didn't get any sleep(the only reason I slept the first night was because I was tired and buzzed from drinking). I am literally typing my review in bed of room 601at 3:30am as I couldn't sleep. I didn't think to complain because I thought I was gonna make it on the second night, and I thought it was too late to mention it on my last night. The AC kinda drowns the noise but the thump is so loud I wish the AC is louder..
This is a family hotel in downtown Cancun next to the " Oasis Oh" Hotel. The location is great for families but you will need to take advantage of the complimentary shuttle service if you want to visit the beach or to spend a day at the sister hotels, the Oasis Palm or the Oasis Pyramid. This hotel is on the "strip". This hotel is another good value for the money. The standard rooms are a good size with free Wi-fi in the rooms. Beware of the noise (due to in town traffic) and loud music in the pool area. This hotel shares amenities with the neighboring "Oh" hotel next door and was never crowded. I recommend this hotel for the price and the location.
