Our Opinion

A really solid place for those who are looking for a decent place to stay that has good service and good value. Good food options for both buffets and a la carte restaurants. However, this isn't the resorts strongest selling point. This resort is great for both families and couples alike. There are plenty of activities for both types of travelers to partake in. For those wanting to partake in the party scene, the main Cancun strip is only a few minutes taxi ride. This is a really great budget friendly option for those wanting to get away and experience rest and relaxation in Cancun!

Used to be "ok", not anymore. Old facilities and incompetent management & front desk staff.

During a 4 day stay: Because of an error in their system got locked out my room for a couple hours (at night), front desk hang up the phone on me (twice), tried to charge me for lost key cards (which I didn't receive), did not clean my room twice (in 4 days!), end a long etc. Very friendly staff in general, but lobby and management was simply rude and incompetent.

Horrible Place I will never stay here again

Horrible, absolutely horrible. When we first got there we went to the front desk to check in. The employee told us to have a seat and a drink while we waited. We waited for about an hour and a half before I finally went back up to the front desk to check to see what was going on. The manager then had us wait for about 30 minutes longer before he told us that they were over booked and would have to send us to another hotel. They got us a ride to the other resort, yet when we went to check in the new resort how no idea what was going on, so we had to wait about another hour before finally getting things figured out. This resort actually ended up being pretty nice. The next day we go back to our original resort to check in again. We again had to wait 30 minutes before checking in, this time they did have rooms, however the rooms they gave us still had people in them. So we go back to the front desk tell them this and they give us new rooms, these new rooms again had people in them. This happened 4 times before we finally got to our rooms that didn't have anyone in them. The worst part about this is at no point did any of the staff even offer an apology to anyone in our group, or compensate us in any way. So we essentially wasted a day and a half of our vacation dealing with simply checking in and getting into the rooms that we booked. I even tried to talk to the manager, yet every time I asked for him the front desk employees, would say they couldn't get a hold of him, without even trying to. It was a horrible experience. I will say the beach was nice at the resort, and the rooms were decent. Other than that everything was awful.

Clean, spacious rooms

First time at this hotel, very clean with spacious rooms. Food was good, would gave preferred foods from the region to experience Cancun cuisine. The hotel is medium size, perfect for our needs. I particularly enjoy not having small children running around screaming loved it. At our arrival we were greeted with great smiles and courtesy except for the woman at the register counter - her name should have been PRIESTESS OF RUDNESS - although we are both of Hispanic language she refused to speak to us in Spanish, her English was extremely difficult to understand but we manage. Overall was a good experience but must likely we wouldn't go back.

College Spring Break

Just got back from 6 days at this resort. We were a large group of college students and enjoyed our stay very much. This resort fit all of our budgets well with left us with some extra spending money to do more around Cancun. We highly enjoyed the nicer restaurant and the cleanliness of everything(beach, pool, rooms, etc.). Like some of the other reviewers have said it is the staff which make five stars in our book. Rodrigo was one of our personal favorites, he would organize activities at night if we wanted to venture off the resort but would not push you to purchase if you didn't want to. Also, Armando at the pool bar was great, he was always fun and attentive many times he would refill our drinks before we even asked. Bottom line I would highly recommend this resort to any college students, families are present but there is a good mix of all ages at this resort.
