The Barcelo Huatulco staff are excellent! From the front desk to the room service, guests are treated very well. Most of the rooms are ocean view and very large. The beach area in front of the Barcelo is beautiful and clean with not a lot of harassing beach vendors. The dinner buffet could use a bit of improvement but is definitely not bad for an all inclusive resort. Not a lively resort, but the bars in town are only a short $3 cab ride away. Barcelo Huatulco is a great resort for rest and relaxation.
I spent there a week with my family and I just have complements for the team that works there. I can only name Uriel, Maria and Alma, but there are many more. Food: first day we arrived late and the food was not that good. Since day 2, things improved. Buffet menu is not that big and can become boring if you stay for long.Room: not the best I have been to, but it is good. Also, it seems that because of the season they are in the middle of renovations. Therefore, our room was sorounded by others under construction and it was very noisy since early in the morning.Pool: adults is warm and nice. Kids one, very cold. Lifeguard told me that because of the small water park they have, it never gets warm. It would be nice if they can do anything about it.
I was there this past week for a beauty pageant and I had the time of my life! The employees really went above and beyond with all their services. They are were very attentive and so nice. I would defiantly recommend this resort to anyone traveling in that area!
Great view in front of the hotel. No a single complaint from the staff, since they were the friendliest of all hotels I haved in Mexico. The rooms were clean and the maid, Germania was extra careful and helpful with our room. The food in the buffet was very rough. It was of lower quality and some leftovers were mixed the next day with regular food. The buffett needs variety. Overall it was a pleasant but not excellent experience.. Thanks Max for your personal attention. September is rainy season. Do not attempt to go. It rained every single night for 6 nights. The entertainment was fair but it could improve. The Jorongo bar opened too late, thus losing persons to dance and mingle.
We had the best time here...we were here for Miss America Latina del Mundo and Mayren Cabrera made the stay even more enjoyable!!! I would recommend this place for sure and come back with family!! The place is nice, clean and the staff super welcoming!
Well we wanted to go somewhere a bit warmer as some of our trips have been quite cool...Cabo, Cuba, and mazatlan! Well we found what we were looking for! Some of the travelling companions found it too hot. The temp dropped maybe 1 degree at night and no breeze at all. I loved it. So we were to bed early quite a few nights, heat exhausted. The resort was very nice. Music, entertainment and food was great. We went fishing, saw 7 bays, snorkelled. We did a tour to falls( we didn't like the falls excursion..too much walking and soooo hot.) we checked out the flee markets. While we were there we experienced our first earthquake! It was 35 km away, but our windows and beds shook waking us up. It was a very beautiful resort and the staff were so friendly. I would definitely go back.
