Binniguenda All Inclusive Huatulco

The Binniguenda is a fantastic resort for travelers on a budget. The entire resort is immaculate and is constantly being maintained by the staff. There is plenty of space amongst the poolside deck, and the bars nearby are always staffed with personable and attentive bartenders. There are plenty of buffet items to choose from. The resort location is further from the beach. However, it is only a few minutes away via shuttle. A variety of shows are held daily. An amazing resort for those looking to get the best bang for their buck.
The employees at the Binniguenda are amazing Sylvia the omelet lady with the most amazing smiles deserves a raise she is one in a million.Front desk and concierge so so helpful.Raul at the front door thankyou thankyou for the crutches i bored for my last 4 days they helped.I feel bad about rating the property a 3 it should be 5+ its the food that is not in there favor for a good review, after the disaster the first night at dinner and then the second I think 10couples complained ,it got better but not good enough we dined out more that at the ALL INCLUSIVE sad for the money we paid
I loved my stay here. We didn't do all inclusive as there are so many great restaurants around at a great price. We visited the large super market and bought snacks and beer for the room. There was a fridge and a safe in room at no charge. Room was well stocked daily. So many quaint areas to visit on this small property. There are only two things I would change and that is sell coffee near the main lobby for those that are non inclusive and extend the pool hours. Closing the pool at 10pm was way too early for my liking. I like to take a nice dip in the evening when the children are in bed.
Second time to Binni and just as great and even a little better than before. We were the only ones on our plane to go here. As before about 50% Mexican, 45% Canadian and 5% US. It's small by any standards but they make up for it with wonderful service, clean and comfortable rooms, and nice clean grounds. The staff has changed some since our last visit but still plenty of people who we remember, and they remember us. Check-in took less than 5 minutes. We did upgrade to a room with a small terrace, fridge stocked with beer and soda, snacks, and a bottle of wine. Your terrace is small and right along the path to the buffet so not private. Still, it was great! Coffee and rolls appeared on the table each morning. You had special seating in the buffet, and got better booze during the nightly shows. Well worth it for us. Everything in the room worked well throughout our stay.Food seemed to more limited than the time before but what was served was of a better quality. As in the past breakfast was great and on Sunday morning they present a special Mexican style buffet which allowed us and others to sample the real thing. It was great. As in the past some of the buffet items could have been hotter or refreshed more often. Not a big concern. We did eat at the sit-down restaurant on Italian Night. It could have been much better in the food served and the service. We might have just hit it on a bad night.Snack bar and bar in the lobby great as usual. Wonderful staff and service. No top shelf stuff. Beer was tap with a light and dark choice. The pool has had the bottom redone so no more tiles to deal with. Always a place to either be in or out of the sun. The workout room had some newer machine - big improvement from last trip.Yes, it is not on the water but a short walk (very safe) or a shuttle. Beach area and service selection at the beach MUCH better than three years ago. This is a very small place and has a true Mexican feel to it. It's not for those who want wild pool scenes or late night- early morning events. It's a place to sit back and relax.Enjoy the pool and sun. Be taken care of by a staff that has been well trained and trulyappreciates you being there.Check-out took less than 5 minutes. Can't wait to go back. Enjoyed the staff and getting to know a wonderful bunch of Canadians.

Stoon, Calgary then Huatulco
This was our 2nd time in Huatulco. First time was at Secrets Resort which we very much enjoyed. But we said next time we visited we wanted to stay in a smaller hotel in town. And this fit the bIll. No lineups at all and no need to get up at the crack of dawn to save chairs. The weather is perfect every day. Only a very short walk to the beach club. Which we only went to a couple of times to watch the cruise ships leave and to have a drink. We never ate there so cannot comment on the food. We chose to up grade to a balcony. It costs an extra $25US a night but was worth it. The room was spotless. King size bed which we did not find too hard plus a fridge stocked with beer, pop and water every day.The only complaints we would have was the food was often luke warm and one time one of the dishes I tasted was cold. Plus it is a small thing but there was no jam at breakfast and only bananas twice during the week. Which I thought was weird as bananas are readily available in the markets? We did eat out of the hotel 3 times during the week, which we had planned to do. The hotel did cook great Mexican food. There is one restaurant in hotel that serves Italian,Spanish or French cousine one night each week. I was not expecting much as reviews were not good. But it was very good and we were not rushed at all. One guest who had stayed at this hotel many times told us the hotel had improved a great deal on the menus in this restaurant. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to please you. Laura the concierge is very helpful plus we never had any trouble finding someone who spoke English at the front desk which was nice as our spanish is not good. The lady who makes the omelettes is very sweet as well. We love Huatulco and felt safe and the area is very clean. We did have a couples massage in a small gazebo above the pool that was very relaxing. The hotel grounds are beautiful. Really cannot add any thing more that others haven't already commented on.
