- What's Included
Yara and crew are wonderful, and so welcoming. Will be back in November!! Breakfast is amazing, and the little shop down below is great for some nice clothes and things you need for fun. Hope to have a view room next time in November :)
This was my first trip to Zihuatanejo and I chose Hotel Irma based on reviews. It did not disappoint. The room was clean with amazing views of La Madera. The pools were wonderful! I recommend the included breakfast because it is delicious and you can basically get whatever you want. Hotel Irma is also within walking distance to many shops and restaurants.
Very nice hotel. Perfect location and view. Great Pools. Staff is great. Walking distance to restaurants and town and beaches. Great Breakfast included each day. Bring a small cooler. You can buy a bag of ice at the restaurant for 20 pesos. Do not miss Playa La Ropa and Las Gatas Beach which is attainable from the pier via a Water Taxi. Everything in Zihuat is ridiculously inexpensive.
I have stayed at the Hotel Irma, many many times over the last 11 years. I return because this beautiful small hotel built on the cliffs above the beautiful bay offers everything I could ever want and more. Jara and her helpfull staff insures the travelers who stay at Hotel Irma the perfect vacation. They call me by name because they see me and my friends and family so often. but after a day or two they will remember .you name and what you preference is at the bar or dining room.I get up very early to go fishing and the restaurant is not open that early They did not have coffee makers in my room, but getting one was a simple request. It came complete with a 1 pound bag of premier Mexican coffee and filters. I often prefer a glass of wine or a drink in the evening from the patio of my room. No cooler? No Ice?....No problem, a simple request and I had a bar set up in my room. I mention these things because for me they make an extraordinary difference. If you are looking for a place to stay that epitomizes the magic of Zihuatanejo, I can certainly recommend the wonderful Hotel Irma,
This was our 3 trip to Zihuatanejo and our first time staying at the Hotel Irma. We planned our stay here based on Tripadvisor reviews and we were not disappointed! The location is perfect for walking into to town or to nearby local restaurants, of which there are many. The beach is one of the best in Zihua and often almost empty. The pool area has plenty of lounge chairs but they could use more umbrellas as they are scarce and it gets pretty hot by early afternoon and there isn't much shade. All of the staff will go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of, with a special shoutout to Victor, and J.P. The general Manager, Yara, is very hands on making sure that everyone was well taken care of, and would personally bring our drinks from the bar (she took a liking to our insulated mugs we brought from home and tried her best to claim one for herself ja ja ja ) We had an ocean view room with a balcony that was large, comfortable, and always clean, Take advantage of the "Breakfast Plan" if you can, as you can basically order whatever you see on the breakfast menu and it's all very good. This is the perfect place if you want great location, clean rooms, and wonderful staff.
