We love Fiesta Americana Los Cabos! From our arrival, we were greeted with Margaritas & a warm welcome. Rosa was amazing & helped our large party of 10 get neighboring accommodations so that our family vacation was truly that. She assisted us with our all inclusive accommodations & explained all of our perks! We stayed in 2 - two bedroom villas (which are 1 king bedroom suite connected to a double bedroom) worked perfect for our family. View was amazing & we had carts to come & pick us up whenever we needed them! We had access to the owners pools, lounge etc. as we are Hilton owners so we could stay close if we wanted to. Rooms were very clean. Cleaning lady & fridge stockers were there daily. All of the restaurants were amazing! The only one we didn't try was the Mexican restaurant. Our favorites were the Italian, we went twice (Rosato - the service was top notch- they remembered our drinks the second night & the made us a special table side dessert) & la bodega - went twice. Blue was very hot inside but food was great! Pools were awesome. Poolside service was top notch. Never went long between drinks as the servers were working hard to keep us hydrated ;) had lunch almost everyday there from the grill! They treated our kids special with their own alcohol free drinks & snacks. Overall, we loved this resort & we do plan to return. This was a vacation to remember! Thank you, FA staff!
It was a great experience. Grand Fiesta Americana has been our favorite hotel so far to vacation. In my opinion it has been better than Riu or dreams, in every aspect.Great place, cleanliness of the facilities is great. Food, drinks are top shelf. Bartenders, waitresses and waiters are great. I want to recommend Israel Arias from lobby bar. He makes the best drinks. I also want to thank Josafat Hernandez from the peninsula bar by the beach. These two guys took care of our family like if we where part of their family.
The whole hotel exceeded my expectations. The service was consistent, the views were stunning, the food was delicious, and the drinks were even better! I went out into downtown Cabo one day, but mostly just hung out in the pools and snorkeled around in front of the resort. The beach was a bit rocky, so I would suggest some sort of water socks. I managed without a pair, but I did wish I had some to make the experience more comfortable. My favorite place was the Mexican restaurant, our server Norman and the server helping him, Hector, kept our drinks full and paced our meal perfectly. I also have to add that Hector made us some fresh guacamole at the table that was the best I have ever had. He also made great meal/dessert suggestions. I must add a complement to the hostess, Eunice and the manager, Nayeli as well-they equally contributed to our outstanding meal that night. They were very welcoming and checked in to make sure our servers were meeting our needs. I'm already looking forward to returning to the resort, I only stayed for 4 nights 5 days which left me with a list of a few more things I want to see and do.The only improvement I'd suggest for them is to have more room service options. I prefer to eat out, so it wasn't a major deal for me. But when I did look at it, I noticed the options were limited.
Had a wonderful stay here at Grand Fiesta Americana. We specifically chose a resort affiliated with Cabo del Sol as this was a golf trip for us. While the beach was not the most swimmable, that was expected. The infinity pools were a nice touch and were a happy medium of enjoying the sounds and views of the ocean away from the discomfort of the rockiness of the beach. Service at the bar near the large pool was fantastic. You must order the fish tacos and guac poolside there. Food overall wasn't the best but good for an all-inclusive and the husband and I are somewhat picky eaters- not in the "we don't try lots of things" sort of way but in the having higher expectations/knowing good food sort of way. :) When we arrived we were given a room with a double bed which clearly wasn't going to work. The staff accommodated the room change immediately with no issue. Other reviews are spot on regarding the hills on the resort and it being difficult for people who aren't as mobile. Definitely ask where your room is located. We were moved to 1314- just above the preview club and members only pool. It was a great location for us. Most all of the staff at the resort were very attentive and accommodating. Service was great! As for the golfing- couldn't have asked for any better! It was hot but we expected that obviously being in mid July and playing the twilight rates (nearly just as hot in the AM so save the $$ and play twilight). Don't miss the tacos at the turn- the shrimp are the best! Difficult course, as expected, but good round or not, you can't have a bad time at this place. Highly recommend! If you stay at one of the affiliated resorts, they provide a shuttle to and from which is super convenient.
We just got back from Cabo and overall were pretty happy we chose the Grand Fiesta Americana. The location is about a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Cabo San Lucas. It costs $25 USD each way via taxi to get there (so $50 roundtrip). The resort is right on the beach and they offer great umbrellas for laying out on the beach; however, the water is extremely rocky and not suitable for swimming. They do have a small section where you can snorkel but it's not ideal due to all the large rocks. We would either lay out at the pool and swim there or lay out at the beach and use the pool for swimming. The service at this resort was outstanding. Everyone was very nice and went out of their way to help us. Whether it was changing chairs, ordering drinks or moving umbrellas, the staff was super attentive and wanted to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The food was great for an all-inclusive. They had some traditional Mexican food; however, not as good as good as I've had at other places. With all-inclusive all food and drinks is covered at all restaurants (with the exception of a items that you can pay a premium for). The guacamole and Mexicano was AMAZING. They made it table-side - we're still thinking about it. The wine and champagne was terrible in my opinion. I'm not a wine snob but I still thought it was just okay. We ended up upgrading to a better bottle of wine for two of our meals. We really enjoyed Noche Mexicana where they had a buffet and live performers outside on the water. Awesome to experience on our last night. Highly recommended. We also tried the restaurant Blu - really good food but felt like I was going to suffocate it was so hot in there. It's technically outside, but covered with no ceiling fans. It was great ambiance but literally could not breathe it was so hot - and that was at 7PM.The rooms were pretty good - they seemed a little outdated. The fixtures, carpet, and tile seemed a little old. Also our ceiling fan made a terrible rumbling noise. Also the air conditioner (which you NEED) was very loud. They're not the worst rooms but not the best either. Originally we were on the 3rd floor and it was very loud (near the restaurants). We asked to move and they happily moved us to the 5th floor - a much better experience. There are also many activities at the resort. We laid out at the pool most of the time so didn't experience too many but there is a list of daily activities which many people seemed to enjoy.Overall we had a great experience and hope they continue improving the resort for our future enjoyment.PROS:ServiceFood/restaurant selectionUmbrellas on the beachFree wifiClean throughout propertyCONS:Wine/champagne selectionRooms seemed a little dated
