Beautiful Resort!

This was an absolutely relaxing and beautiful resort! The view from our room was of the entire resort and the beach. We couldn't help but notice how happy and friendly all of the staff were, which made our stay exceptional. It's a huge resort so it's easy to walk off the calories from all of the delicious food or you can catch a ride on the golf carts that transport guests from one area to another. There are several pools (family, adult with swim up bar, quiet hilltop, and one for members) and each one had great service. I liked that we had the option for the all inclusive package. We wanted to go to into town the first couple days and experience the local food, shopping, and sights. So we didn't get the all inclusive on those days, but we did pay for the all inclusive for our last 3 days. The food can be a little pricey if paying a la carte, but we weren't drinking alcohol, so it was cheaper than the all inclusive. The one thing I did get a little pissy about is that they provide only 1 complimentary pack of coffee for your in-room (4 cup) coffee maker the entire stay if you do not do the all inclusive. I forget how many pesos they said it would be for additional coffee, but to me, that was ridiculous. The WiFi was included, but was difficult getting service when out of the room, like around the pools.

Great service!

Our entire experience here has been amazing! From the location to amenities to the service, its top notch. And the topper is the food quality. It is a gourmet experience, especially the dinners. The best has got to be El Mexicano, where our servers Norman and Yuliana made us feel like the most important people there as we celebrated our anniversary. Can't say enough good things. Absolutely not a single complaint. Easy cab rides to the marina for shopping and activities. Take advantage of snorkeling, atv and glass bottom boat rides, the operators are reputable and the experiences are worth it.

Will Come Back

It was our first visit to the resort and we were very pleased with our stay. Our room was clean, had a stunning ocean view and was close to all of the restaurants and pools. Believe the positive reviews!!!There is no towel checkout; you can take as many as you want, just return them to the towel station. Beach service is great for food and drinks. There was always great seating available on the beach so we did not have to endure the “towel game” to reserve seats.No reservations needed for the restaurants!The massage at the spa was great, however, the spa facility needs to be updated. The steam room and the sauna were not in service during my stay, although the attendant said they were working when I reported it to her. The control button in the sauna was missing.What I would have wanted to know before going—take good beach shoes. The sand and the rocks are hard and it makes walking very difficult. My usual flip flop beach shoes were not adequate. Walking barefoot was impossible. Tour the entire resort. The views from different areas of the resort are awesome—don’t forget the area of the convention center for great views of the mountains and the ocean.Can’t wait to return.

Best Family Trip Ever!!

I went to this hotel with my young kids and extended family. We received hands down the best service I have ever had. In particular, Daniel the waiter at the pool and Emilio the bartender at the Mojito Bar took care of us. I have never seen anyone work as hard and care about their guest more than these two guys. They truly made our trip for our family. I would highly recommend this place. Also the food was great. I have been to a few other all inclusive places and I thought this food was top notch. We plan on making this a yearly trip.

Eduardo Monroy Beach Service

Eduardo took care of my wife and I numerous times during our weekly visit with water, adult beverages and food to help us enjoy our experience. He always checked in on us to make sure we had a enough or if we needed anything.
