Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos

We stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica, which is an adult only resort, but we toured the Sunset Beach resort and we'll likely return to stay there with our kids. We went with a group of 14 people (7 couples), and everyone had great things to say. The service was excellent, the food was really good (aside from the "sausages" at breakfast were actually hot dogs...that was strange) However, the rest of the food (and there were tons of options) was fantastic. The lobby areas had a lavender/vanilla aroma that was very relaxing. It seems like someone was constantly asking if they could bring something or get something. We had the all-inclusive package, and the only up-charge we had was when we went to the steakhouse, which was an extra $35/person. They had some wines that were an extra fee, but the ones that were included were good. I went by the bar and looked over the selection (assuming that it would be loaded with well type stuff), and they had good brands. (Ketel One vodka, etc) The pools were very nice and the service at the swim-up bar was great. The beach was nice and well kept, but you can't swim in the ocean. The room was very nice and clean, and there was a great view of the ocean and pools. It's very close to town, so we went there several times to try a few restaurants and walk around. I didn't take part in any of the spa/massage options, but several of our friends did and they had nothing but good things to say. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and we'll definitely be back.
Made a reservation months prior to arrival, but at check-in they said there are no rooms at the property, but they can put us in a room at the property next door. What is the point of making a reservation if they don't honor it upon arrival. They could've saved us some trouble by calling us to tell us about the issue, but they made no effort and their attitude was terrible. Not even an attempt at an apology, and only excuses like "this happens at other places too". By their behavior, it was clear to me this was a normal occurrence. We went next door but asked to look at the two room choices first. The quality of the rooms and furnishings was not good, and one room smelled awful. We ended up going elsewhere and will never give this lousy company any of our buisness again. Service, professionalism, courtesy, attitude, and quality of rooms... they all SUCK!
Such an awesome resort. Staff is absolutely amazing!!! Julian, Rod , Alex , Arlin, and Carlos are the best! Stay here 100% because it is amazing! Drinks are great and definitely get the all inclusive, it makes everything better thanks also to Alex rod and silvia
Pueblo bonito is great. There's activities like volleyball, and water aerobics, Mexican bingo, stretching, and fun games. They are run by awesome people like Julian, Rod, Alex, and Arlin. It was fun doing parasailing, and paddle boarding, there are lots more options too. They had a night called "fiesta night" and there was these great dancers and fun games where they called up people to embarrass themselves.
This location right on the Sea of Cortez is the main reason we stay at this resort! The views are breathtaking and you can choose to lounge by the pool or on the beach all day if you'd like. We loved to hang out on the beach and swim. Carlos was super friendly and just made our day when we saw him. He was Amazing and brought us food and drinks on the beach and he always remembered our names and what we liked! (all 6 of us!) It is also a short walk to the mall or marina. The restaurants are pretty good at the Blanco, especially Cilantros. Theme nights weren't very good, in my family's opinion. If you eat at the Sunsets & Sushi Bar (next door at the Rose), be sure to see Mario! He'll take great care of you! Breakfast was good at Las Palomas. Vincente & James will treat you right however the food does take a while to come out. Also, breakfast next door at Mare Norstrum (at the Rose) was a wonderful way to start the day. Awesome views and Erika makes killer omelets! The rooms are clean but the setup is a little awkward but it worked ok for us. We're not in the room that often anyway.
