Enrique adame da big bomb of sunset beach

Best golf cart ride of my life: very nice, very helpful, very respectful, and very homie. You need this driver. We sang together and had fun together all within a matter of minutes. My family, me my parents and my two brothers, want Enrique to drive us everytime. He is hands down the best, nicest, and most efficient driver at pueblo bonito sunset beach.

Disappointing Vacation

My wife and I are members here. Have been for three years. We had been looking forward to our week vacation with our friend and arrived on the 9th. Our week started fine when Arturo at the front desk was very helpful and friendly and got us checked in quickly. He even upgraded us to a suite. Our first full day we spent in Cabo shopping. Went to the PB Rose for lunch. Service was horrible. Our waiter took over 10 minutes to take our drink order. Another 15 minutes to take our food order. Took forever to get our food and he never came back to refill our drinks. I had to go to the pool bar to get refills. Twice. Waiter was nowhere to be seen until I finally flagged him down for the bill. Two other couples also were complaining of the bad service. Next day the ladies went to the spa for massage. My wife also got a Pedi/Mani. Nail polish would not set. Wife had the lady try three times. Finally told her to forget it and remove the tacky polish. During rest of the week we noticed a very sharp drop in customer service from the wait staff at all the restaurants. Slow in taking orders and slow in drink refills. Only once was the service good and on that ocassion i waited 30 minutes for my main dinner order, which never arrived. I told my waiter who came back to say my order of Chicken Mole had been taken to a different table by mistake. I had to wait another 15 minutes to get my meal. We had all purchased the Premium All Inclusive plan. But apparently this does not include Reisling wine at the Chinese restaurant. Let alone at the upper level three restaurants where you have to pay more.The most annoying and frustrating part of the week was being constantly bothered by the sales lady at the Bistro. Every year we see her prowling thru the Bistro at breakfast or lunch time. Bothering guests to try to get them to go thru the sales presentation. When she approached us each time we were there we told her we were already members. And the next day or day after that she would hit us up again. One day THREE TIMES WITHIN 20 MINUTES! What the heck! Leave your guests alone once checked in as most do not want to be bothered EVERYDAY by a pushy sales rep. Geez. The 50s Diner was a nice touch but again the lousy service popped up. We went there for 2 milkshakes. Did not get helped for almost 15 minutes. Took another 10 minutes to get the shakes. This was when maybe three booths had guests and I counted 8 different staff members standing around doing everything EXCEPT tending to the guests there. The food was ok but not as good as we remembered it from past vacations. At the pools some of the pool waiters would ignore you and some never came back when you asked them to. Almost as if the wait staff has been cut back. Or maybe they just want to do their job. Room was nice EXCEPT for the shower head was plugged and had no water pressure. Took two calls on two days to have someone fix it. Housecleaning was ok except two days of the maid not putting new toilet paper rolls in the bathrooms even tho down to half rolls. We finally had to call front desk to have some brought to the room. When we finally checked out I double checked the final bill and was pleased to see no mistakes on it. Eric at front desk was pleasant and efficient in getting the final bill finalized for checkout.So overall 2 stars for initial check-in with Arturo and check-out with Eric. Grounds still beautiful and great sunsets and sunrises. But terrible service all week. Food not as good. Very disappointing week.

Not Quite Up to Par

We have been going to Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach for years and have always given it the highest ratings. We just returned from a week there and were really bothered by several things. The staff at Sunset are always top notch, the grounds are beautifully maintained, the addition of the beautiful Marketplace is a huge plus, La Freida, Tazuna, The Bistro, Zao Shen, Quivera Steakhouse, all fantastic. But the rooms are starting to really look shabby, same bedding for ten years, worn chairs, lumpy mattresses and missing furniture on the balcony. The ridiculous practice of people running down to the pools at the crack of dawn to put towels on chairs and then not show up for hours has got to stop. It's against the resort's policy but nobody ever does anything about it. I watched one fellow put towels on four chairs at 7 am and never returned until noon. The other thing that has gotten totally out of control is the alcohol abuse and yes, I do think the resort needs to assume some responsibility. We saw a man lying down in an elevator, a person urinating in bushes while we were walking to dinner and a young woman throwing up off of a golf cart. I don''t think I have ever seen so many completely wasted people in one week ever. So with all of the great things about PBSB, I felt I had to finally mention a few of the not so great.Not in such a hurry to go back.

Wedding Anniversary

My Wife and I stayed at the resort earlier this month for our Wedding Anniversary. Unfortunately there was a problem with our room after we checked-in. Yasmin at the front desk quickly addressed the problem. Her professionalism and courteous manner set the tone that she really cared about us having the best experience possible - and we did have a great trip. We were treated with first class service every day. The staff were all kind and helpful. However, Yasmin made what could have been a bad trip a great trip full of wonderful memories .

Love from LA !

I’m here for my wedding and I’d really like to thank everyone that helped me made my dreams come true, Ari the wedding planner went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time!!! We are a group of 110 people and we had only the best service anywhere we went , I’m really happy i chose this hotel and i will recommend it to everyone i know ! I got married in a pool called sky pool , the view from there it’s just AMAZING so many great pictures , and it wasn’t as expensive as I tought it would be. One thing we all enjoyed was playing volleyball with the activities staff ( Daniel, Luis, Gaby and Leonardo ) they are so nice and I’m happy that we met cause they truly get everyone going with the music and the games they got , also we have kids and took them to the kids club , the girls there have crafts and are super nice too big thanks to Janet , Laura and Sergio for taking care of my little ones ! The last thing I have to say is that I see that everyone around here has a great attitude including the waiters at the main pool and I think they deserve all the recognition they can get , thanks to Felix, Arturo,Gustavo, Luis , rodolfo , Marcos and Jeremy for taking such good care of us! Hope you still working here next time I’m here !
