This place is beautiful. The facilities are great. The spa is one of the best I've ever experienced. It was not loud with drunks everywhere like a few other reviews stated. The rooms were clean and gorgeous. The food was exvellent except one dish my husband ordered. We rented a car and drove to surrounding areas with no issues at all.The staff were great. From room service to the entertainment to the turn down crew; They were all wonderful. The only thing that we had a problem with was the A?C in the room. It did not work well at all. My husband is in the AC field and figured out that the AC equipment was running to the best of its ability. It was unusually hot the week were there.
I love this place! This is my second time to this resort and it just keeps getting better and better! And the reason? The staff! Not only did I feel like I have joined a family, a community whereby I felt comfortable right from the start to the end (thank you Elizabeth!), but I also felt like it really was a pleasure to be there and have all of my needs taken care of! And that's exactly what happened! The staff truly are "making it fantastic" (the translation I get of "hacienda fantastico"-from Google no less) . . .from Izkaban delivering endless cups of coffee and Mimosa's at breakfast, with a smile! . . . and Eduardo at the pool grill who graciously recommends the best shrimp tacos for lunch (yum!), or how about the awesome pool bartenders and waiters who remember your name as well as your drink order ("Hey Gina, a diet coke and margarita on the rocks, no salt!") like Soloman or Gabino (you know I love you! - both!), even Victor at Oceana was impressive as he handled demanding guests with care and a smile . . .yet the engaging and most creative and fun entertainment staff is surely note worthy, and cannot be missed; they make the day super fun! Antony and Lia, your bright smiles and positive outlook is a joy to watch, "sexy-sexy" Roberto can really hot up a pool volley-ball game, especially if the lovely Ms. "Janet" Jackson is cheerleading us all on! There wasn't a minute that went by that I wasn't smiling and laughing at the repartee they all engaged in! What fun! Isn't that what vacations are about?! Laughing and smiling?!!!! What was even more amazing is that these people (and the many, many more I have not mentioned) worked all hours - long days - just to provide the most excellent entertainment one could ask for, and they did it with joy in their hearts and smiles all around; my hat off to all of you, thank you! Now, we are at a Secrets resort, so you can expect excellence all around and it is delivered! The rooms are impeccably clean and show care was taken, also, they are the perfect size with a cozy opulence. And the maid service is absolutely spot on! The views of the ocean and the mountains are spectacular and the rooms with the swim-up pool, divine! The sexy lighting with turn-down, makes arriving back to my room warmly inviting (even though the air-conditioning works like a dream!), and after a day full of fun, laughter, camaraderie, the huge jacuzzi tub reminds me how special I must be to be such well taken care of!A huge thank you to everyone, it was truly my pleasure to be there with all of you. We have been to other Secrets properties and did not feel that this property lived up to the Secrets reputation. We did not like the greeting we received upon arrival. The young lady at the desk was very "mechanical." Instead of telling us the positives about the hotel she told us all the rules....no smoking on the balcony and if you get "drunk" the hotel is not responsible for any injuries.My husband and I are in our 60's and professionals...did we look like we were going to get drunk and cause trouble. I did take it personally and I think that put a damper on the vacation.The pools and grounds are absolutely beautiful! The staff friendly and professional. The food definitely needs improvement. We were not fans of breakfast or lunch however, dinners were fabulous!

Every year our group of friends travel to Secrets Puerto Los Cabos for a friends and family weekend, a group that has grown from 10 a few years ago to now over 30 people due to our rave reviews about Secrets PLC. This past May 4-7 we once again stayed at the hotel and it was the best stay yet. As a business owner with multiple operations and many employees I’d like to formally express my gratitude and admiration a few members of your team.Mr. Hector Meji’a – Concierge ManagerTraveling with such a large group who booked separately all with different requests can be daunting but from the moment I contacted Mr. Meji’a in advance to when we arrived and through the whole stay he proved not only to be the best of the best but a true professional and gentlemen. He not only remembered our group by all our names he and his staff shown us a sincerity and professionalism only the finest of hotels could provide and always with a smile. A true leader always leads by example and Mr. Meji’a does that.Mr. Lionel Piombino – Food and Beverage ManagerA true pleasure to meet Mr. Piombino as I was introduced to him in passing by Mr. Meji’a. I had the opportunity to speak to My Piombino for a few minutes as he asked about my stay and my thoughts on the hotel especially F&B. My answer was quite simple, perfection. Mr. Piombino’s staff is the best, the food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the experience was excellent as well. The F&B experience was just as good or even better then the finest restaurants here in Los Angeles. As a side note my best friend who traveled with us owns over 100 restaurants here in the US had nothing but an amazing experience and affirmed Secrets PLC is the best.Mr. Kevin Davis – ConciergeA rising star at Secrets PLC. We had the pleasure of meeting Kevin last year as part of the entertainment team and from that weekend at the hotel and escorting us on the night club tour we all came to love Kevin as someone who truly cares about the guests and their experience at the resort. It was an excellent decision to move him to concierge and interact with so many more guests and to allow them to experience the hospitality he shows. We were very happy to see him again this year as he was outstanding in helping our group and all our various requests as well as seeing a familiar face welcoming us back to our 2nd home at Secrets PLC. Working with Hector these two are a concierge power team !!!Caesar – Pool ManagerA true gentleman. I have a slight disability with balance and walking and it must have been evident as I was carrying a pool float around the pool. As I was walking with the float I saw Mr. Caesar run from around the pool to assist me, a true gentleman. As our group of 30+ enjoyed our days by the pool Mr. Caesar continuously checked in on us, made sure all our needs were met, and our pool experience was nothing less then perfect. Always with a smile we look forward to seeing Mr. Caesar next year.
We spent a week here. First and foremost, the staff was exceptional. From waiters to bartenders to people cleaning our room, they could not have been nicer! The pools were clean and had beautiful views. The rooms were very nice too.Extra shout out to Alberto ,Benito, Sylvia, Alicia, edwardo, angel, Ernesto, and Abraham
