Fun and relaxing

We visited Cabo in Jan and the resort was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to make sure you felt welcomed. The entertainers kept it fun and drew you into activities with thier electric attitudes. The resort is quite a ways out of town so the only con is if you want to leave taxis are pretty expensive, but you can rent a car right there. Overall great vacation !

Fun in the sun away from NY winter

What a surprise. Lovely rooms and pretty property.Food at this all inclusive adults only resort was quite good with premium liquor as well.Loved the quiet pool and adjacent restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

Warm, beautiful with friendly staff

My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos in early January. We had a great time. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. All the staff we encountered were friendly and willing to assist with anything we needed, although I can't remember having to ask for anything. The weather was absolutely perfect with temperatures ranging from 80-85 with a comfortable breeze and sunshine. The food was terrific. I would highly recommend getting reservations at Himitsu for the hibachi dinner. The chef was entertaining and the food was delicious. Every meal we had was well prepared and tasty. The only minor inconvenience was the inconsistent timing of the housekeeping midday. Bed turndown at nights was consistent. We stayed in an ocean view room with access to the swimout pool which was terrific. While we spent most of our time next to the pool with a drink in our hands, it was nice to have the option of added privacy in the water.Overall, our stay was excellent and one of the best vacations we've experienced. All the amenities and staff were top notch. Other guests at the resort were also extremely polite and outgoing. I'd absolutely recommend this Secrets and hope to return and experience other Secrets resorts!

Sunshine Lovers Paradise

We stayed at this resort November 2016 in building 8 which is Ocean Front. We could hear the waves all night. It was like being in one huge spa the entire time. The weather was so beautiful and sunny and quite hot but lots of pools to cool off in. We enjoyed the food at all the restaurants and service was very good. Our suite was very spacious and had the biggest shower that I have ever seen had to be at least 10' x 10' solid rock with double shower heads. There was spa music playing all around the resort which we found to be very relaxing. We really enjoyed the spa and had spa treatments everyday. We tried all the different massages, reflexology and even had a stem cell facial. The beach was nice but the water was very rough with undertow and riptides so no swimming in the ocean although some people disobeyed the warning flags and went in the water. We didn't golf but the course looked nice. It would be very hot to golf around noon, probably early morning or late afternoon would be best.

A Fabulous Property

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this Secrets Resort. We had a swim out room that was in a back building. We loved it because it was so private. Because it was our anniversary trip, we were greeted with Champagne and fruit in our suite upon arrival. We chose an in room brunch complete with mimosas. The food was excellent. That evening, we came back to our room and there was a Happy Anniversary banner on the door, there were rose petals all over the floor and in a heart shape on the bed and a bubble bath had been drawn. Very sweet and romantic! The food at the Japanese teppan restaurant was very good. We had to pay an extra $5 US for the Sapporo. The Italian restaurant was really delicious and we paid extra for a nice bottle of wine with dinner. The breakfast buffet was yummy.. omelets made to order and plenty to eat and drink. We loved hanging out at the swim up bar where Ishmael took great care of us. This is an all inclusive but tip your bartenders. They really appreciate it and you are guaranteed great service... My husband is a generous tipper, often $5 for a couple of beers but even if you give a buck or two every couple of rounds, it is appreciated. There are a lot of on property activities such as a putting green, giant chess, water aerobics, even poker tournaments. My husband and I were asked to join a game with a number of Canadians. The guys decided that it would be fun to play for real money. So we all kicked in $10US. I'm proud to say that I won the tournament. We had a wonderful time. The only down side is that if you have never been to Cabo San Lucas and want to go into town, this place is a long distance away and it will cost you about $120 to get there and back. Everyone seems to charge about the same amount. There are car rentals available but who wants to drive on roads we've never driven especially after a few cocktails in Cabo. My advice, if you want to party in Cabo, save this location until after you've done that. Come here to enjoy the property and relax. We will definitely be going back.
