Our Opinion

A truly unique resort featuring interiors of white stucco with domes, spirals and arches. The beach area is nice and calm for swimming while the pool area looks a little dated. The Las Hadas is located on a hill side so there are a lot of stairs and slopes which may prove tricky for those with mobility problems. The seafood restaurant is excellent. Entertainment team is not the most organized but they do offer fun, different theme nights each week. The Club rooms are closest to the beach while some of the standard rooms are on the hillside with a bit of a walk to the beach.

Built in 1974 by a Bolivian king, the Las Hadas was the first resort in Manzanillo. This legendary hotel is famed for its spectacular Mediterranean/Arabian architecture, and white turrets and cobblestone pathways. Perfect for the discriminating traveler, Las Hadas by Brisas features an excellent adjacent golf course and detail to service that is second to none. The special Club Rooms include daily continental breakfast and an hour of afternoon cocktails with hors d'oeuvres.

Location: Directly on the beach, 15 minutes to downtown, 30 from the airport.

Needs a little work

A good two night stay here. But not quite as pristine as it was when Bo Derek was running the beach. Nice view from the top tier of rooms but no place if you're handicapped or hate stairs. Would stay here again. Beach palapa restaurant is ok but check out the place next door at the Dolphin Inn. There's a gate that opens up to the Paraiso restaurant next door at the beach level. Nice swimming beach with clean water.

Excellent experience.

We have enjoyed a total of four weeks vacation over two years. Las Hadas is excellent value. Value being the balance between quality and cost. With the aid of manager Rodolfo (who was extremely accommodating and friendly) we did up grade our room albeit the standard rooms are quite satisfactory.Overall the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Special mention to Memo, Reyes and Karina the concierge, a real credit to the resort. The food was excellent. Good quality, timely service and excellent presentation. 10 out of 10 for efforts to please quests and recognition that there is always opportunity for improvement.

Wake up early and enjoy the sunrise

Unique beautiful resort. Wonderful quite location, and also close to other downtown hotels and restaurants + golf and marina. The sunrise is amazing. Decent to good food. Took advantage of the full all-inclusive and was worth it. Try it at least once!

Our 2nd Visit to Las Hadas

Have been to Mexico several times, love manzanillo! If you are looking for an architectural gem, friendly service, access to a private beach, no beach vendors, swim up bar with pool, ok food, clean rooms, good wifi, hot showers, this is the place for you. This resort is close to a golf course, a few restaurants and shopping. Entertainment was ok but a valiant effort. The one a la cart restaurant open was exceptional. Las Hadas has changed since the last time we were here, less people, therefore less open restaurant/buffet/bars. Did not participate in daily recreation activities. I had forgot there is no children’s pool. Still love the charm and appreciate the marina life. Overall a quiet resort which is what I was looking for in our vacation.
