Geat Value

Drinks, food and staff were all great and helpful. On the beach with great view. Fishing is not far away. Shops just outside. Massage next door great value. Standard room was fine for my son and I. we enjoyed it very much. Loud yes but it's Mexico.

Wonderful Oceanside Outdoor Bar

This review is for the outdoor portion of the resort only as I have never been a guest here. Las Flores welcomes cruise ship passengers so if you're only stopping for the day, head here. You can sit on the private beach, enjoy the swimming pool and eat at the beachfront restaurant.Steps away are lots of local vendors rent out jet skis, parasails, kayaks and more, so I love to come here with my husband. I sit on the outdoor terrace and sip margaritas while he has fun out on the ocean. I'm not outdoorsy so the margaritas and guacamole are more my speed! The food and drink prices are cheap and (knock on wood) I've never picked up a stomach bug on my 4 visits here. When he's done with his fun in the sun, we just hang out on the beach, drink and relax. It's great!Pretty much everything you need is right here: bar service, decent food, a nice beach, water sports, clean bathrooms, and local vendors hawking everything from cigars to silver jewelry. It's easy to catch a taxi right out front too. This is a great day stop and one of the best kept secrets in Mazatlan.

Was double charged

My wife and I were there from 4-30-16 to 5-7-16 and stayed in room 909. The hotel was nice, dated but nice. The staff was excellent, treated very well. The only issue I have is that I paid up half way through our stay for what we had already charged. When I got home I looked at my bank statement and noticed I was charged the same amount twice on the same day. I have written the hotel twice, I have called several times and am being ignored. I like the hotel and staff but don't like being double charged for something and no one contacting me back about it. I'm hoping the hotel manager, whom I have written, or the public relations person will read this and will get back to me and get me my refund. Like I said, I like the hotel and the staff, I don't like being double charged for something and no response when I file a complaint. If this is not resolved I won't be staying there again.

Best beach and super access to shops and restaurants

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, great service at restaurant and enjoyed a delicious shrimp filled avocado. I should have done my homework though, and checked that the very week our vacation began, (April 30.16), it was the start of Summer break for local high school and university students, and at the age of around 60, my husband and I were abit out of our league! We stayed in a newly renovated King suite 1108 with nice beachfront view of the lovely pebble free beach directly in front of the hotel. Nicely equipped with everything you require for dishes, cookware and utensils, appliances. Most suites are adjoining (please correct me if I'm wrong), and we found that if you have a lively family living next door, it could sound like they are in the same room. We did move to room 507 which did not have an adjoining suite and loved the quieter unit. The tiles on the living area floor are extremely slick, like glass and once wet, you will go flying if you don't wipe the liquid up. Good place for families requiring 2 or more bedrooms. 2 nice swimming pools.

Ok if you like lots of noise!

We had 3 nights in the newer tower here, that was more than enough! You hear everything from your neighbors as well as street noise and I am not over exaggerating. It was like the neighbors were in your room!!The room was clean enough and property was ok but be warned about the noise.I would definitely suggest for Las Flores to add felt pads to the bottom of the table & chair legs. It isn't a pretty sound to hear furniture dragging all over the floors at all hours.Do take ear plugs or noise cancelling head phones with you if you are planning on staying but I personally would definitely pick another property!
