This was my first time in Mazatlan and I truly think this hotel is THE place to stay! The staff are amazing and friendly with very attentive service. My room was GREAT! It was a true ocean view! I had a large balcony directly overlooking the ocean/beach. The beach was also great! The sand was so soft and you could walk out into the water for a long time and it stayed shallow. The food at this hotel is incredible! The freshest Mexican food you will find with plenty of variety to choose from. Casa Roberto was definitely my top favourite! The location of this hotel is unbeatable. So close to amazing shops, restaurants and bars. This hotel has something for everyone and the staff are more than happy to help you in any way they can.
This is an amazing resort, should be 5 star in service, food and location. A great stay for larger families, or couples. The hotel staff truly makes you feel at home, great hospitality, food was amazing and can't ask for a better location. Most of the staff speak fluent English so its really easy to ask where to go and what to do in Mazatlan and area.Very clean and great walking beach and walking distance to all area shops, clubs and restaurants. The ocean is a little rough so try to enjoy it latter in the day, but amazing beach anytime of the day.Ocean view rooms are full ocean front with large walk out balcony's, comfortable beds and all the upgraded rooms come with some sort of kitchenette. They have all inclusive but this resort is a great option for European plans or breakfast plan as there are many great choices around the area within a short walkStaff always go out of the way to make sure you are comfortable and are very friendly.
Located in the golden zone this hotel was pretty good. THE STAFF made every effort to make sure we were taken care of, wether we were on the beach, in the restaurantsor at the concierge desk.-THE BEACH area is different then any we've seen. There are no traditional lay- down style beach chairs, but an uncomfortable sit- up style hard plastic chair that had our butts numb and aching after the first couple days.-SWIMMING in the ocean here was really nice and easier then some other beach fronts on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. No coral or painful rocks here. We did not use the pools at this hotel because we like the ocean and they were quite overcrowded since it was their national holiday and the hotel was booked up during our week here . -FOOD here was just ok. Always plentiful and hot but not the quality we are used to. The a-la-carte restaurants are really tasty and should be tried. there is a Italian and Brazilian and we really enjoyed them both. -CONSIERGE desk is definitely the busiest place in this hotel. Tour bookings, restaurant reservations and general questions are dealt with here. There is only one lady taking care of the guests and are open from 8am-3pm. Long lines are the norm and could be 10-60 people long(not exactly what I want to spend my time doing on holidays)This hotel was built in the 50's and has had little updating since then. There are 50's style louvered windows that provided little to no sound barrier to any and all noise from guests in the hallway. Without the a/c on it can be difficult to sleep at night with all the noise. We couldn't help but notice that the hotel catered to many of the local sport teams(little kids) and their families and they certainly had the run of the place providing at lot of unwanted noise and little sleep at night. If I was to book here again I would ask if there was going to be large sport teams or gatherings while I was there.
I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and have been very satisfied with my stay each time. This hotel is near everything walking or taxi. Central location to lots of restaurants and things to do. It also has one of the best beaches in Mazatlan with many water things to do. The beach front is set up with lots of places to sit and relax away from the vendors or right in the middle of everything. Waiters will come to you so you don’t even have to get up. Great palace to stay!
This was a last minute change from our original trip to Cuba due to the hurricanes. The resort is beautiful, clean, in a great location and right on the beach. The people were fantastic and we had a good choice of pools/beach. Our room was great. We had an ocean view room on the main floor. It was easy access to the beach, very large room and clean. We never had any problems and enjoyed that location. The food was good depending on where you wanted to eat. The Mexican restaurant was fantastic as well as the Brazilian BBQ. We ate most mornings and lunch at the buffet which was great but we didn't care for the food at the dinner buffet. Having said that a 5 minute walk up the beach to Pancho's is a must! The staff were great and treated us so well. The atmosphere was fun and we didn't have any problems relaxing whether it be at the pool, the beach our the bar. It is definitely a family orientated resort and would recommend it for families. There is something there for everyone.
