Hilton Puerto Vallarta Resort

Our family was there for spring break. There was a little construction going on outside of our door but it seemed to start after we were up for the day and they were done before dinner. The pool was very nice and the water clean. The all inclusive was ok. Breakfast was good and always had a nice selection. Dinner was limited menu and they did run out of some items. Our room was nice and cold. The beds were very comfortable and the room was dark. We had a nice time.
This was our first All Inclusive vacation. It was excellent and we had a terrific experience at the hotel. If you travel here make sure you contact the hotel and have a ride service made available. This could not have been easier. We also rented a cabana every day. The staff was great and the food was excellent.
My wife and I love this hotel, have been repeat customers, and will continue to be!Overall the experience was still very good, they just repeatedly missed on a few things, which makes me believe they have lost a little focus while working on taking over the Hotel just to the north. Yes that's what I said, they are taking over the Krystal Resort, and it will become one big resort under the Hilton name, with a goal of achieving that before the end of 2017 (sounded ambitious to me).Staff by the pool, in the restaurants, around the facility was very friendly and proficient. They all deserve 5 stars!Food in the French Restaurant was great, the wine was very good there as well! So make reservations during your stay for the French Restaurant!First issue: No safe in our room. We had to call down 2 times and wait 2 hours and 15 minutes before we got the safe. We didn't want to use the pool with our credit cards, passports etc. not secured (so a little disappointing).Second issue: The mini bar/fridge had not been restocked when we checked in, called about that and it never happened. Not a big deal at an all inclusive resort, as it's all complimentary downstairs, but still only half the bottles of water and no diet coke in the unit.Last issue: They misplaced our valet tag for our car when we returned on Friday night. Promised to send it up to our room, which never happened. Because of that I called for our car extra early Saturday Morning and explained, they said they would get the car. We arrived 15 minutes later, and still waited more than 15 minutes for the car because of the issue. Not fun when you have an appointment in Sayulita you need to be at.Our first 4 stays which accounted for 20 nights, we had 0 issues. This stay added another 3 nights, and our first 3 minor issues while at the hotel. So we were a little disappointed.I think once they get the integration completed things will be back to normal, or at least I hope.
wonderul experience, kids friendly and great service, great location and very clean. Restaurants are great and delicious food. Kids activities, spa and a nice bar to enjoy a nice evening. Close to the Malecon
This was our first trip to Mexico and I can honestly say that it was one of the best vacations we have ever had. Don't listen or pay attention to what the news tell you. Puerto Vallarta is a safe tourist area. It is so safe that my family and I actually went to local restaurants, not tourist traps, and did not feel unsafe at all. The hotel was actually very nice, the staff was wonderful, very attentive and always made sure we were enjoying our stay and that we never went too long without a drink or whatever we desired.
