Plaza Pelicanos Club
- What's Included
- All Inclusive Features
The Plaza Pelicanos has a true Mexican feel to it. It's beautiful and recently renovated. The rooms are very simple; be sure to ask for an alarm clock at the front desk! The grounds are well kept. The pool is huge, with a swim-up bar, but the service there isn't so great. The restaurants have excellent service however, and amazing food. This hotel has virtually NO beach. There are no activities either. This hotel is more for R&R, and quiet clients looking for a basic, simple place to stay. The tower at this hotel is all timeshares, so watch out for timeshare reps!
The resort was a nice place. The food wasn't all that spectacular but the drinks were fantastic. The staff were super nice and accommodated us in all ways possible. I had an accident while there (not on the resort) and they provided me with a wheelchair to move around.
We had decided to give an all inclusive a go. We where not disappointed ! Nice resort , awesome heated pool, good selection of food . All in all we couldn't have asked for more. All the staff was great, particularly Jesus, Rene and all the boys in Restuarant.
Once again the staff at the hotel made it another great vacation in PV. The wait staff in the restaurant Martin, Manual, Panfilo, Chema, Pedro, Santiago, Jose' Maria, Rene all did a fantastic and I only had to ask and it would be there if it wasn't already. The cashiers Lehda and Patricia were always smiling and friendly as was The Captain Patricia. The bellmen were always there to lend a hand and do things for you. The waiters at the pool Victor, Pedro Humberto and Paulino made sure you did not go thirsty. The food is getting a little better. As an Owner I was a little angered when Management took away some of the perks with the all inclusive that we always purchase ( having to pay for premium liquor and boxed lunch to go fishing. If I hadn't gone fishing my meal would have included.) Overall it was a great vacation and I look forward to returning again next year. ( I have been coming here every year for 25 tears.)
My wife & I stayed here Feb. 11 through Feb 18, 2017. The property itself may not be the most beautiful in comparison to some of the newer hotels in town; but it is VERY nice and kept immaculately clean and has a fantastic location on the beach. The front lobby is open and inviting. The pool area / courtyard is beautiful. Don't miss the bar & jacuzzi hot-tubs on the 9th floor (and do NOT take any kids up there! -- it's adults only!!)The rooms & beds are very comfortable. The on-property restaurants are excellent. Service from everyone here -- the bell staff, the waiters & waitresses, the bartenders, & housekeeping -- is top-notch, always with a greeting & a smile. A very special thanks to the men of the bell staff: GRACIAS! for all your help with my bags and also for hailing taxis for me throughout the week. God bless you.
Everything was great at this resort. It is a smaller resort, so it wasn't super packed with people, which was a plus for me. All staff was friendly and helpful. The food was mostly really good. A few meals were not good at all, but overall it was good. The reservation restaurants are better quality, so make sure to dine there. Pool was a good size for the property and the rooftop bar was great for watching the sunset. Air conditioning worked better than other Mexico locations I've visited. Room was a good size and comfortable. The only complaints I had was the lack of a view (just a wall) and staff is really noisy as early as 6 am cleaning the hallways. I would definitely stay here again on a return trip.If you want to book excursions, you can do so on the street outside of the resort and pay MUCH less.
