Diamond Suites Riviera Maya
- What's Included

This was my first trip to Mexico and my first all-inclusive resort experience, so I don't have others to compare but we had a fabulous stay! My boyfriend and I were blown away by the service, facilities, and quality of food/drinks. The staff is incredible, always super friendly and eager to please. We loved having bikes to get around and I had an exceptional massage at the spa. Highly recommend!
The word luxuriante in the hotel's name is every bit true. The suites are beautiful the food is always à la carte and is as varied as excellent, the entire personnel goes out of it's way to please and give you the best service and always with a smile. It's a smaller resort so quiet, inviting calm. There are no discos or loud music anywhere So of if you'ré looking for action, go somewhere else. high class clientèle, but not snobbish. Mame you you bring a couple of nice dresses or outfits for suppertime. And when they say all inclusive, they mean it. Even if the Air Transat package is a bit more expensive, it is well worth every extra dollars. I have travelled quite often and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful resort. I almost forgot to say that it feels like living in a jungle
We went to this resort 4 months ago, wonderful except for the gym, which is very important for us. There was decent equipment but all out of order ?! Now 4 months later we book again, but we want to make sure that the gym is functional, we get our travel agent to call. Guess what STILL OUT OF ORDER!!! So we cancelled and are going to the zoëtry instead. Thanks
BITTERSWEET TRIP. So my trip at the blue diamond wasn't what I expected we were looking for a 4 to 5 star hotel.. and seeing previous reviews that were good.. The hospitality and customer Service was great the people that work there were really nice. But the first night they put us in a room that had no water then had to wait a whole day to change rooms and they supposedly upgraded us and that room the toilet was leaking and the ceiling in the closet was leaking with our suitcases in there. Then finally the third night they upgraded again to a really beautiful room but half of our vacation was already gone and the frustration we went through. Disappointed having to keep packing and re packing. Karen from concierge dealt with the whole situation from the beginning and they tried making it up with complimentary things like rose petal room and cake for our anniversary and given us a butler. But it's not really a butler because they service is great everyone looks out. A complimentary spa massage for us too. I did notice being treated differently were a black couple from New York and this hotel is more for older white people with money. We were the only African American people there besides one other couple. But I would notice for certain services and even dining how other people were treated somewhat better. This place is Very quiet. No nightlife and minimal dine options. But overall its a good place if you have money and looking for some place quiet. Just which we didn't have the complications we did. Wish I would of got the money back for the two days of hell we went thru and the day we was leaving our "butler" bellboy was suppose to have us to the lobby at 320 and got us there late and missed transportation and even that they didn't help with I had to pay twice and catch a cab to make it to our flight.. which I feel the hotel should of at least paid that with everything they know we went thru.
My wife and I went to Mexico looking for some relaxation and quiet time together. From the moment we pulled off the highway and into the property we were taken back by the beautiful grounds and reception area. We were officially greeted and received with a warm and hospitable welcome as if they were eagerly anticipated our arrival. Champagne drinks were poured and in our hands before we sat down to check in. We knew from the welcome received we were in for a week of exceptional service and relaxation. Our room was 519 a junior deluxe suite. Located in the middle of the property. No complaints. Gustavo gave us a tour of the room and our amenities and was quick to add that he would be happy to fulfill any requests we had for the week. We asked for bikes during our stay to ride back and forth to the beach or spa area and had them at our door in the morning. The dining at this resort was excellent. Both dinner service and breakfast had a variety to offer. Fresh local ingredients in which the chef paid attention to detail and presentation without skimping on taste. We tried everything. Absolutely delicious. A special thanks to head waiter Julian and Leo for exceptional service. Having 2 pool areas was a plus. The beach pool set up was very relaxing. But if it was windy at beach we would head up to the pool in the spa area. Very secluded and private. No wind either. Be sure to hop in the outdoor spa behind pool. As with any stay at any resort you will have little things that might not be to your standards or likings. But that's travel. At Blue Diamond Riviera Maya they were minor at best. Most of the time lost in translation or communication between personnel and other employees. Be sure to explore all of the grounds and take in the sites and sounds that Blue Diamond Riviera Maya has to offer. We will definitely come back and bring friends to see just what we experienced.
