Our Opinion

The Grand Palladium Riviera is a good 4.5-star luxury resort. While it does offer the basic amenities of a high-end resort, there are other resorts that offer better luxuries. The buffet restaurants are far more of a superior option than the a la cartes. The rooms could use a little bit of a revamp, as there have been some reports that the bathrooms have a tendency to get a little leaky. The beach view is incredible. However, the grounds are a little rocky. This is a great resort for those who like large scale hotels. There are both shuttle and walking options in getting around the hotel. It is advised though that guests should know the layout well to avoid getting lost.

Great family getaway

We spent April 12th-21st at the Riviera section. Travelled with my wife, 20 year old daughter and ten year old son. Stayed in building 61 room 34. Overall this a very nice well maintained resort. The place is huge. Two huge pools and a bunch of smaller ones scattered around the resort. About a dozen ala carte restaurants and two large buffets with tons a snack bars all over. The food at the restaurants is top notch for a resort. Yes you may have to wait a bit to get in but get a drink and relax. Buffets are typical with the exception of the desserts. They definitely do a better job than most other large resorts as far as desserts go. Bars are everywhere. Entertainment is also fantastic here. Way better than other resorts we have stayed. The place is immaculately clean and manicured. The one thing that stands out here is the service. Super professional. Very well trained. The majority of the people that go here are families. I would say half are from North America and the other half from all over the globe. This is a great place to relax and just chill. The place is very large and you need to take transportation if you plan on getting around. Regardless you will do a lot of walking. All in all it was a good vacation. It compares with the upper end of the Barcelo resorts. I would recommend it to families and if the price was right I would return.

great place for a relaxing and fun vacation

Had a great time this past month, and the entertainment staff is great especially Rodrigo Cristianni, who always invited the guests to come to all the activities by the pool and made my vacation extra amazing. He is a key reason to why I'm going back next year.

Best holidays ever

This was our second stay at this resort! Both times didn't disappoint. The rooms were spacious and well maintained, the bars and restaurants were lovely. Food choices were the best we have ever experienced in an all inclusive resort. The wildlife and beach area are impressive and adds to the whole experience. One thing that stands out for us though is how helpful and friendly the staff are, nothing seems to be a bother to them! This is key to our holiday! We are going again this August, this time to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and can't wait!

Fantastic Holiday

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful location with great service and staff! All staff are friendly and can't do enough to help you. There's always something going on and there is something for everyone! We have stayed at the hotel twice before, food and facilities are great. We loved watching the daily evening shows, particularly the fire show at the sea water pool. Its nice to see a hotel take pride in the nature and wildlife of the area in the same way that the Grand Palladium does, the 'jungle' walkways and lakes add to the serenity of the place too.Would definitely recommend a visit to this resort and can't wait for our next visit in August!

Wonderful relaxing stay for our 10th wedding anniversary.

My husband and I stayed here the week of April 4th. We had beautiful weather in the 30's. The beach had algae that was removed regularly but still we preferred the pools which are the best we have seen. Very large and warm water and plenty of lounge chairs everywhere. They even had a popsicle cart going around ounce in a while! First time didn't have to get up early to 'catch' chairs. The buffets and restaurants were plentiful and had great staff all around. Lourdes was our favourite at the buffet near the lobby with her beautiful smile and friendliness. We were spoiled with a fruit basket when my husband was sick one day and received a bottle of champaign for our anniversary. We were asked a few times if we needed anything. On our last full day (April 10th) we had missed our 6:00 hrs Japanese restaurant booking at the Kentannah (because of a day tour) so we went and asked about another time thinking it impossible but a nice employee in the lobby(sorry I don't have his name) asked the booker person there who called the restaurant and came back to us with a miracle 7:00 hrs booking for us. Brought me to tears because it was our last night there and it was our 7th anniversary! Upon arriving to our room there were candles and flowers and a bubble bath waiting or us! Thank you to all the staff for your devotion and smiles which made our stay unforgettable. Would love to go back with family.
