The construction of 2 additional towers of hotel rooms made our stay disappointing because of the very loud noise. The only day of peace and quiet was Sunday. Also, every weekend the hotel hosted a wedding so there was way more people and noise. We were disappointed that the resort wasn't noticing people that weren't even staying at BelAir able to come in for the day, use the pool, take up the lawn chairs and pay cash to the waiters for their drinks. This was most frustrating when there weren't enough chairs available for the paying guests. We visited Bucerias many times and every time we mentioned where we were staying they mentioned that they were aware that this was a great resort you could use the infinity pool for free, no questions asked. Unfortunately, we were of the paying guests!
This resort was wonderful to stay at. It was the cheapest last minute option we could find. Start with the service, it was awesome. Miguel is by fair the best waiter, and it was always delightful to see him at dinner time. Adrian is also wonderful and very friendly. The activities put on by Alex and Martin were so fun and everyone is so welcoming!Shout out to the best bel-hop: Trinidad. Always there to help you get a taxi or share good places to go off the resort. The food: there are apparently 3 restaurants at this hotel, however; we never went to the italian one, as we weren't sure where it was. The sushi restaurant was great, but the main restaurant had incredible food! The resort itself: the pools were nice, and most days weren't too busy. However, lots of families and young children are around during the day.I found the "hot tubs" were not hot at all, more luke warm..and there was no way to increase the temperature. The rooms were nice, however; our maid didn't restock our beverages everyday like she was supposed to :(. Overall, I'd say these are mediocre complaints, the resort was amazing. I would recommend it to a friend and I would definitely go back!
Javier at the front desk/owner relations .is excellent. So important to have someone in owner's services to talk with! He helped us get equipment that we needed during our stay.Bety, our housekeeper is excellent. Her English has increased significantly over the years we have been coming to BelAir. She also helped us get things that we needed while we were here.Elizabeth (Administration?) also helped significantly.
Room was nice after 3rd try of trying to acquire one. Overall a nice resort. Came at a bad time of new construction taking place. Hard to sleep in. Food variety could have been better. They claim 5 restaurants, but not really....
This resort is a good value. The staff were friendly and the pool and beach areas were very nice. The food was very good although another resteraunt selection or possibly more variation in the menu would have been nice. My husband and I really enjoy wine and the all-inclusive wine was really unpleasant. The construction going on wasn't to bothersome but didn't really enjoy looking at from our balcony.
