Wonderful facility, right on the beach front. This hotel has all the amenities you would expect from a first class hotel, but it didn't have the "local" flair of the other hotels in which we stayed. Very comfortable and clean, multi story building. The pools were great, with a nice poolside bar, and since the tide was in, and there wasn't much actual beach, it was great to be able to swim. Convenient to airport for the trip home!
Room was good. Room cleaning lacked -- sand was cleaned up from the tile floors only on some days. It should've been daily. I did the all inclusive option, which helped with its isolated location, and no worries about nickel and dime charges. Staff was attentive and great. Great view. Food had US fare and Panamanian dishes as well. The ceviche was brilliant. It is a little isolated -- good or bad depending on your desires. It is on the Pacific side so when the tide goes out in the late afternoon, there's not really a beach with a water front that most tourists would picture. Still a gorgeous and new resort.
On return arrival after a few months, IVAN remembered me and greeted me with a smile. He truly is the happiest guy in the world. If you arrived feeling stressed, he will make you happy and relaxed. The room was very nice, although I would ask the hotel to pay attention to details - for example, if you are looking for the gym on the 15th floor (per the hotel guide) you will not find it there. It is outside in another building. If you are looking for ice, do not follow the signs, you will go the wrong way...go the other way. The hotel is not quick to answer the phone, but the people seem genuinely helpful once you get them. Doors in the room are unique but do not slide and work well. Ask for fresh eggs in the club as they were almost always sitting too long... Anyway, it is overall a nice place - just needs some attention to detail.I was there for a work event and I can say that NELLY was amazing. She was a hard worker and dedicated to the success of our event. If you have an event - ask for Nelly. Also, I stayed for a few days extra and needed to make some restaurant reservations and schedule some excursions and ARIEL was an amazing concierge. He got us great reservations with special tables. He really took care of us.--in summary, the special part about this place is the people. Engage them and enjoy!
My wife and I stayed here with our 3 children (3, 3 and 7 years old) for the weekend. The room was comfortable, with 2 double beds and a single. There was a balcony with a good view of the sea.The facilities at the hotel were very good, 4 pools with at least one suitable for any age and ability. There was a kids club, an evening show for the kids and live music for the adults. The Saturday night finished with a firework display that you could watch from the pool area or your balcony. The all inclusive offered a good selection of drinks and buffet meals with a wide choice. The beach was not great, the kids did not want to walk on the sand with the stones and shells. Although the elder girl enjoyed the opportunity of shell hunting. The kids loved it and did not want to leave, I would highly recommend this hotel for families with pre-teenagers.
We had a business Conference at this facility recently and it couldn't have been better. The Rooms were great and the room attendants did a great job. The staff was friendly and helpful at every turn. The entire property was meticulously maintained and the pool area is second to none in its' size and view. We had a great time in the Lobby bar and the bar supervisor Marcos Saturno was always right there if we needed anything. The service was great.
