Bay Gardens Hotel
- What's Included
Just returned from a week of relaxing and enjoying the sites and sounds of St Lucia. The resort is one of the best we have stayed in the Caribbean....smaller resort, great beach, quiet atmosphere and staff how want to make sure all goes well. We opted for the all inclusive with the Dine Around Option so we could experience several of the local restaurants. The only downside of the all inclusive was that the daily menu was pretty much the same. Being on a special diet proved a challenge but the chef was willing to grill any fish for me..snapper, Mahi mahi, shrimp etc. The staff at both Seagrapes and Hi Tides were great...we were greater each morning by Irene who made sure our day started with coffee and a fabulous breakfast. I know there have been comments about allowing vendors on the beach...but it gave us the opportunity to learn more about the island and people. We did buy a few pieces of jewerly. ...don't hesitate to bargain! We attended the Managers cocktail party and met the owners of the resort...everyone wanted to make sure our visit was most enjoyable. Be sure to visit the spa, Nadia did a fabulous facial....an hour well spent!Yes, it is a 90 minute drive from the airport, but it gives you the opportunity to see the island, including several fishing villages and capital. The resort made the taxi reservation for us, and our driver, Collins, was a great guide, stopping a log the way so my husband could take a couple of photos. I think this is one resort that we will want to visit again
This was my first visit to St Lucia and it was remarkable. The beach, food and people were really nice. The cost of things were expensive relative to Trinidad and I was surprised that the price of everything was quoted in US dollars as opposed to EC dollars.
My husband and I went to St Lucia to visit some friends and he recommended Bay Gardens Beach Resort , it was a great choice, we had a great time, the food was great !first time trying roti!!! (Awesome) the staff was friendly and hard working, the resort was always clean and was on a beautiful beach. Walking distance to restaurants and bars and also a grocery store. Thanks for a great time we will certainly be back soon!😊
We stayed at this hotel over the last weekend. The hotel is just beautiful on a lovely beach and has the most beautiful pool. The food was fantastic while we were there we had Father's Day and they laid the most wonderful Caribbean buffet on. People were commenting that they had never seen a buffet like it before and there was some really good entertainment on hat day. All the meals we had were exceptional. But We think what made this hotel very special were the people working there. We can honestly say that every single member of staff that we met went above and beyond their jobs to make our stay so special. Thank you so much to every one for a wonder time. We will be back soon .
I love this hotel, beach and the Rodney Bay Area of St Lucia. From reception to checkout, the experience was good, except there should have been a checklist for staff to review on checkout, which would have caught the fact that I did not hand in my towel tickets and my room key (my fault). The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The Resort is well designed with bars and restaurants placed at each end as well as a beach bar. The hotel is right on Reduit beach, which is one of the best beaches in the eastern Caribbean and the best in St Lucia. The food choices was adequate (I was on a all-inclusive plan). I liked the fact that the manager, Mrs Patrick, walks around to chat with the guest to ensure that all is well. From Melisha at the orientation to Teddy at the bar and Nadia, Kelsha and Irene at the restaurants and the rest of the staff, I would give this experience a 10 out of 10. There is lots of night life in Rodney Bay. There is a bank so I could access funds in local currency via the automated teller machine. I will return to this hotel later this year.
