Bay Gardens Inn
- What's Included
We booked into the Bay Gardens Inn from 19.10 17 to 30.10.17. 11 amazing days! Apart from the gorgeous weather, the staff were friendly & would do anything for you; the hotel was spotless (our cleaner Jennifer was amazing) & the good was great! We had breakfast at the Bay Gardens hotel each morning - local foods galore! We were also able yo use services at the Bay Gardens Beach resort - wow! The Inn is well positioned in Rodney Bay for shops, bars, restaurants & easy access to the beach. Bay Gardens provide a shuttle bus from the inn & hotel to the beach resort every hour, good for when the weather is hot! Meals are provided at the Inn & The Beach Resort- yummy! This was my 2nd visit to St Lucia, I had got married there in 2009. I would highly recommend the Bay Gardens for a family hotel. Thank you Bay Gardens team for a lovely holiday, missing you already ❤
Very good value for money. Staff excellent. Accommodation fine - if a little dated. Only there one night. The situation is not ideal for immediate access to beaches etc. but free transport is provided to the sister (Flagship) Bay Gardens Beach Resort so apart from the convenience of to-and-from the beach there is not a major problem. Hotel pool looked ok but not used.
We had a great time. where else can you enjoy three properties for one reasonable and affordable price, great staff, beautiful accommodations and very good facilities. when you visit Bay Gardens Resort and Spa, Bay Gardens Hotel and the Bay Gardens Inn you are treated as part of the Bay Gardens family who make you feel so welcomed. when you leave you leave a little of yourself behind and you look forward to your next visit where you get the opportunity to renew friendship that where forged the staff at all three facilities. I would highly recommend Bay Gardens to family, couples or anyone looking for the complete vacation experience.
Stayed at the bay gardens inn for 12 nights, great little hotel for a base to explore the island Rooms were basic, clean and had good internet connection! My only criticism would be that the walls are pretty thin - we could hear next doors tv on which is normally fine but on the last couple of nights this was at 2am and did keep us awake! Shuttle service provided was great and the drivers were always really nice and they do come pretty regularly, on the odd occasion we missed the shuttle Richard from the hotel went out of his way to take us to the resort which was amazing service! The beach at the resort was lovely - we used the water sports company Saluna which I think it also part of the hotel they were amazing, we did a boat tour for the day the guys were brilliant that took us around the west coast of the island and gave us loads of info about the island they were genuinely really nice and really made the dayAlso have to give a shout out to Barry who worked at the resort on the bar or Sea Grapes he was brilliant - such a lovely guy and made the holiday for us always went out of his way for everyone to make sure they were ok, also have to mention the other guys that worked on the bar they are all so nice! All of the people in St Lucia were super friendly and welcoming! St Lucia is a brilliant place to see, we stayed room only but we did find eating and drinking out a little expensive I would recommend at least bed & breakfast or all inclusive if you can but we had a great holiday regardless!
I would never recommend this hotel to no one st lucia were lock down because of hurricane Maria now that st lucia is no longer on a lock down but airlines for the caribbean are unable to fly its our first time to st lucia. So lets start it off first of all yall dont even know the reason of our stay we know flights were being cancel so the receptionist at the bay gardens inn said if they got any information they would call mind you info was coming in and we were not informed evertime we had to go at the front desk so tuesaday 19 sept (our flight was 3:30pm) the receptionist called room and said "that the airline is flying they are going to Barbados then to trinidad" then while we were at the lobby waiting on a taxi the hotel manager Richard Marks walking through the lobby stop and said "who travelling to trinidad?" i turn around and said us he then continued " ok well there is a flight but there are going to Barbados then to Trinidad. Got to the airport all flights cancel and even if there are no connecting flights in the caribbean they never had and cant do that ok as i said its our first time and we dont know anyone called the front desk at bay gardens get a set of run around then to be told that they cant help us...we would have to pay $119us pp for a night so were are still here in st lucia nowhere to go and dont have the funds for a hotel while other hotels such as Sandales are accommodating there guess who is waiting for a flight while we are spending the night and day on the street in this bad weather. No flights until the sky is clear from bad weather and not even the airlines what to pay or help pay for a hotel. Then on top of it were given a bill of $21.60EC for tourism enhancement which no one told us about
