The Coco Palm hotel was a fantastic place to stay. Our stay was all inclusive there was a choice of two restaurants.one was called the Creole grill, which served local food, and the other one called the Ti Bananne which was more of a ala cart menu. The food was excellent , and we always found something on the menu that we enjoyed. The staff at the Hotel were fantastic, and we would like to thank, Princess,Lise,Shady,Dwight,Sean, Rosemary and everyone else for the great service they gave us along with laughs we had during our stayThe location was great, with just a 5 minute walk to the beach and shops. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, this would be the place to stay, we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
I stayed at Coco Palm as one of a party of seven guys who had travelled to the Carribean to watch England play cricket (no matches in St Lucia - we travelled on to Antigua for that). The hotel was perfect for our needs, a good location and everything clean and tidy. It was a reasonably cheap option though we quickly discovered that the hotel bar prices were a bit over the top - no problem though as plenty of cheaper bars nearbye. Only one snag - when we arrived all our rooms had double beds which wasn't ideal for two men sharing! No other rooms were available but after we made a bit of a fuss and pointed out that we had requested twin rooms, mattresses were found and beds made up on the floor to solve the problem until different rooms became available two days later. To be fair the hotel staff did there best to sort it out and we had no further problems. Apart from breakfast (which was excellant) we didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the rest of the food on offer. All in all, very happy with Coco Palm
I must say this hotel is located in a great area super close to everything but please be ware if you book one of the smaller rooms!!!! The pictures you see are of the front portion of the hotel which the rooms are definitely nice and is super close to the pool area and the main restaurant. The smaller rooms are in a totally separate part of the hotel, basically the back part and it seems as through you are in a different realm of the hotel. It would be nice if they let people know these rooms are not part of the main area hotel. The only good thing about being in the back part is the separate entrance which leads you directly on the main strip. If you decide to stay here make sure you find out where you will be in the hotel!!
One of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. The room was a good size and spotless. The food is of very good quality and for lunch and evenings is cooked to order. Breakfasts are buffet. The bar has a fabulous range of cocktails. Perhaps the biggest selling point is the helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff we met who can't do enough to help. The pool is fine but the beach is not far away. The loungers by the pool are of a mixed quality, some needing tightening to avoid sagging but what a small criticism. The only poor finding was of trips if purchased from the hotel. We initially only booked a shopping trip to the town which was to include rum and chocolate tasting. Unfortunately as we were the only ones that day, the trip was cut short and we were taken to the market and duty free shopping (I'd avoid this if at all possible - it is cheaper to purchase alcohol in the local supermarket much cheaper) no rum or chocolate visit ! We were about to book another trip but spoke to two other couples who explained that their trips were also of poor quality - the prices are on the expensive side so this is not something to undertake lightly
Co Co Palms is a great place to stay. They have the most friendly staff and are willing to help you with booking a day trip to getting you a towel for use at the pool. The breakfast was more then I expected, they changed the menu every day. We lucked out on the weather, which was sunny and 84 degrees each day. The hotel offered many day trips to keep your vacation interesting. Now the cons! Co Co Plans needs to spend some money on upgrades, the beds are old and sagging, the shower drips all night making it hard to sleep. The elevator had one working car which smelt like burning wire.
