Romantic and relaxing, newly refurbished. Adults only, perfect for honeymooners. A good size resort, small enough that you can feel part of it all, big enough that you can disappear into privacy.

Great Day Pass

Arranged ahead of time online. Excellent friendly efficient service. Short ride from cruise port. Beautiful grounds with attentive service. Towels provided. Fantastic lunch. Spent the entire day and had such a great time we are considering returning as a guest for several nights.

Relaxing Holiday in St Lucia

This was our third visit and we have already booked for January 2018. This Hotel for couples only is amazing. Situated on the beach with amazing views. The staff are all so friendly but efficient and nothing is too much trouble. Special thanks go to Trista, Carmen, Matilda, Michelle, Frances, Martha, Harry and Stephen in the Terrace and Trysting Restaurants. Thanks also to Ash, Guilfor, Nice, Minnie Me, Brandon, Eric, Glen and Ian in the bar areas. Food was excellent and we loved dining in the Trysting Restaurant which has its own intimate, romantic atmosphere. We were welcomed back like old friends and are looking forward to our next visit. Thanks goes to Yhasmine and all her team.

Heaven!

We spent a few days here after a few on Barbados, what a difference, this is a very classy (yet relaxed) all-inclusive couples resort with excellent staff who are above helpful. Our room was so spacious, a Premium Garden View so not top of the range, with lovely shower & stand-alone bath too, plus balcony with comfy loungers. Everything in the resort is close by, with a choice of pools (we tended to sit & read by the one with the swim up bar but also enjoyed the aquafit in the rectangular garden pool). We loved that there was no piped music BUT unfortunately on our last afternoon a couple of cruise day visitors (we think they were actually cruise staff) had a portable speaker & blasted their music from that, while socialising with the bar staff, who didn't tell them to turn it off. The breakfast buffet was excellent & lovely to sit on the terrace looking out to sea. We had lunch most days at the Malabar Beach Club which was brilliant, fabulous food yet chilled atmosphere. We also ate there one evening, also excellent. Dressier for the evenings is The Trysting Place but (sep review) a bit incongruous. We really loved starting our evenings at the Champagne Bar, with live piano. Sadly our time at Rendezvous was just not long enough & we yearn to return. This was a special occasion celebration for us & the staff, including the reservations team way in advance, made it extra special

An excellent place to have a tooth abscess!!

Like many have recommended we transferred from the airport by Helicopter and probably saved over an hour of winding up and down roads (booked at a reasonable price when booking via Virgin Holidays). The welcome was professional and the room, with champagne waiting, was very comfortable.I'd forgotten that the majority of evening meals were from a menu, but the 5 options always gave a good choice, although we felt it would have been better if the choices had been on a 14 day cycle and not 7 day. The a la Carte restaurants were very enjoyable as well - but book as soon as you can as a delay may mean you have to wait a week to get in.The wine was the best we'd experienced at an all inclusive with 4 reds, 3 whites, a rose and sparkling. It was also generously served with a full bottle put on the table in the evening and a caraffe at lunch, so no looking around for the wine waiter during your meal. The bar was well stocked although the cocktail list was generally rum + sweetness - however the bar staff will accommodate your needs. The reserving of beds was an issue which led to a letter from the management whilst we were there. The problem normally comes down to trying to ensure you get reliable shade during the day. There were shaded beds by the lazy river however I think we're all a bit more wary of mosquitoes, so such a lush location was maybe under used.We did a snorkel trip with the dive centre and that proved pretty good based on our experience of the Caribbean. The hotel showed it's full colours when I had a tooth abscess which led to needing a dentist after 3 days of growing pain. Reception obtained details from a local dentist of costs, and then got an appointment for 2 hours later. They arranged the taxis for the 3 mile trip and subsequent pharmacy trips. $40 for the appointment, digital xray sent to email, and prescriptions for antibiotics and painkillers was extremely good (nice lady dentist from Kent). Then with alcohol ("and fruit cake"! ) prohibited with the antibiotics the Sommelier Cheryl(?) advised that there was a red, white, rose, and sparkling no alcohol wine available on the all inclusive. Now I do not rate low alc. wine, but these were extremely welcome over the remaining week of ours stay. She even helped us conduct an experiment that proved a tea bag added the required tannin to the red!The staff were always enquiring about my tooth regularly as I continued in pain for a few more days. If you're going to have these problems you may as well have them here rather at home in a cold January !!We left after 2 weeks feeling extremely rested and touched by all the farewells we received. The entertainment was mediocre, except for the exceptional Police Band which was a highlight. The two things that the Hotel need, and could improve, were making the main restaurant evening meal a 2 week cycle, and the best improvement would be to set up a coffee bar, even if for just 10am to 1pm. There was a coffee urn available during the day but if you wanted a cappucino, latte or expresso the waiter had to break off from where they were and go to the main restaurant for it - which would take at least 15 minutes. We would come here again but maybe match it with a 2nd week in the south of the island.

One Day in Paradise

We had the opportunity to spend one day at the Rendezvous resort. We visited while our ship was in port. Easily the best beach resort I've been to. We swam in the refreshing pool, laid out under umbrellas by the beach, ate a tasty lunch with wine with the most amazing views, and just thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Special shout out to Glen who took great care of us while we were there. At some point, we will go back to stay there for a longer period of time.
