The Landings St Lucia
- What's Included
- All Inclusive Features
My husband and I got married at The Landings this past Saturday. Hosting a destination wedding can be nerve wracking because you've got to rely heavily on the expertise of someone far removed physically. From my first online interaction with Angela straight through to the wedding and my farewell, this place was PURE PERFECTION! The wedding went off without a hitch!! All 70 of my guests cannot stop raving about how great it was!The service at the resort itself is incomparable. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our butler and taken to our well appointed room. Peronilla, Edmund and Andre were amazing. There was no request too large or too silly. We called upon our butlers often! The views of the marina and the Ocean make for incredible photos! I would recommend the landings to any one travelling to st Lucia. You cannot be disappointed at this resort!
We came to The Landings because of an Island Wedding. Three couples in a 3 bedroom, 3.5 baths with a Jacuzzi. Everything about our stay was superb. From the check in to the check out, all went smoothly. The daily cleaning, the nightly turn downs, and all between were great. The greatest asset of this resort was the staff. I cannot say enough about the staff. All were great. Brunch and dinner at The Beach Club was average to good, as to the food. Again, the staff was great. Oh, don't forget the beach. It was perfect. The Sunset Cruise was worth taking also. A beautiful trip on a Catamaran, with drinks and food. A great side trip.
As usual The Landings staff surpassed expectations from the time of check in to the time of check out. Though the property has minor signs of wear and tear the maintenance team have ensured that the services are all fully operational and working.Of particular note are the Beach Bar staff who have remained attentive and friendly over the years to ensure a quality dining experience especially for business dinners and casual lunches. It certainly remains one of my personal home away from home destinations and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Landings to any discerning traveler.
My Husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary at The Landings St. Lucia. We had a lovely 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen and private balcony. The staff was amazing. They took attention to detail to the top. They called our driver to find out when we would arrive, ran a hot tub, and opened a few of our favorite beverages. We had a wonderful time. The people of St. Lucia were amazing. Very friendly. The local Triangle Restaurant was amazing. Highly recommend a visit.
We arrived and unfortunately, neither of our butlers was working that night. We were given a glass of champagne and before I had time to drink half of mine, we were rushed off to our room. Not the best welcome I've ever experienced. The Landings is very well suited for families and groups. For two of us, we were given a large, two-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom suite with a full kitchen and dining room (Room 201). It also has a private patio, plunge pool and direct access to the beach. However, as we sat on our patio in the evening, the public beach which is right next door, was fairly noisy with talking and loud music. One night was quieter, and we could hear the tree frogs and the surf. While the room is nice and bright, the patio is surrounded by plants which block the view of the bay. This foliage is good for privacy, but if you want to watch the water, it’s not possible. I’d much prefer a room on a higher floor with a water view. The Landings supplies robes. You may want to bring slippers since the tile floors can be a bit chilly. It was nice to have a full kitchen but there are no napkins or paper towels. Our butlers, Antonicious and Peronilla, were professional and friendly. It would be nice to have a paper with a list of things that the butlers do for guests, such as dinner reservations, restaurant recommendations, tour reservations, etc. Our last morning at the resort, we checked out at the lobby front desk. Later we learned that the butler comes to your room and handles checkout with you. No need to go to the lobby front desk. The breakfast buffet is nice with a variety of food and good coffee. It would have been useful to have a sheet of paper at breakfast each day with the tours and activities available the next day or two and could include dinner options, upcoming entertainment, etc. We found out after the fact that the Wednesday sunset cruise is the only sunset cruise that leaves from The Landings and returns to The Landings. No additional transportation needed. Also, does the sunset cruise include beverages and snacks? Having more detailed information daily about upcoming tours would be helpful. The Saturday barbecue buffet was good as was the entertainment. Get there early to enjoy all of the show. In general, the food at the resort was mediocre. We went to The Palms one night, and my husband thought the lamb was good. I was not impressed with my food that evening. The beach is very nice and well maintained. Each night, we were given a small plastic bottle of water on our night stand. Plastic is such a waste. I’d prefer a large bottle of water in the refrigerator from which we could fill glasses of water for our night stands. Another idea is to provide a refillable water bottle with the resort logo on it (in place of disposable plastic bottles) which would be eco-friendly.
