The Landings St Lucia
- What's Included
- All Inclusive Features
The landings is a condo/ ownership facility . The rooms are very nicely appointed and the lush surroundings are akin to being in paradise. The bay and the beach are provide a tranquil setting. The fully loaded kitchen and washer/dryer make travelling and packing light convenient. Most, of the employees are friendly and helpful a few are reserved and stoic. I think this can be attributed to the culture of St Lucia, mainly peaceful and quiet. The island is verdant green and mountainous, it is strikingly beautiful. The room were cleaned twice daily. What a treat. SPA. I didn't use the gym or tennis courts. I must commend Lorraine in the spa. While the spa is small she provides one of the best massages I have ever had. KUDOs..Lorraine.The food is adequate. I enjoyed the all inclusive breakfast. The food is the one area I think they could improve upon. However, Rodney Bay is 15mins by car and there are a number of excellent restaurants within walking distance. The beach is wide and beautiful, although the water is not clear. I think this may have been due to the strong tides occurring in the region. Lunge chairs are plentiful and there is no haggling over chairs . It rained daily, however the rain normally clears in a matter on minutes. Overall, St Lucia was a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The Landings were impeccable accommodations, without many amenities. Would I go again? I a heartbeat. It was beautiful.I used PhVTours Kimbert for all of my Island excursions and airport transportation. He provided excellent service along with guided tours and historical and cultural information about the Island. Safety is always my primary concern. TIP: Book your fishing trips at the Rodney Bay marina.GO ENJOY..I HOPR TO RETURN>
Myself, my wife, and two young daughters spent 7 days at The Landings over the holidays. From the moment we entered our 2 bedroom beachfront suite we were in paradise. Most hotels use the word 'suite' very loosely. Not here! This truly was a large spacious suite perfect for our family. Each bedroom had their own bathroom, we also had a spacious living room, kitchen and a large balcony overlooking the ocean. We ate at the beach restaurant most days. Breakfast was a reasonably priced buffet. Lunch was in the same restaurant or you can go to the restaurant on the sand. Dinner was a different themes each night.Food was very good, as was the service. My girls went to the kids club a few times and greatly enjoyed it. One of them learned how to waterski and they both loved swimming in the calm warm waters. If you are looking for some of the best hotel rooms located on one of the most stunning beaches and bays around, then look no further.Highly recommended.
My husband and I and our two children have been going to the The Landings since it opened 9 years ago. We go every Christmas and meet up with my parents and my brother and his family. We absolutely love it. The rooms are absolutely fantastic. They are too good to be called rooms. They are like suites. Huge, comfortable, clean and luxurious. Fantastic for families as you have a beautiful kitchen if you choose to have a meal in your room and you can even do some washing as they have meile washing machine and dryers. There is obviously room service and our kids love their wood oven pizzas , even we have a sneaky pizza. Everyone at The Landings is truly great, they cannot do enough for you. At 11am we start the day with a fabulous Bloody Mary or Pina Colada which is served to us on the beach looking out on to the beautiful bay. This goes alongside with a fruit kebab served by the beach crew and a cold scented towel. Heaven! You won't feel so bad starting the drinks at 11 as at 10, there is water aerobics and there is no chance to cheat as Purnell the instructor is on your case but in a fun and energetic way.Lunch at Calaloo, the beach bar, perfect for a fish mahi mahi wrap or as my daughter has every day, a fresh piece of mahi mahi and sweet potato fries. No chicken fingers for her here but they are on the menu and are delicious. This all goes with the great staff serving us.The afternoon is spent waterskiing, sailing, paddle boarding, jetskiing, tubing, knee boarding. The list goes on. The snorkelling is great and the beach crew have all the gear. They will all look after you. They are just great with all the guests.Sun set is just beautiful. The bar is the perfect spot to watch it. A treat is to hire The Landings catamaran and go on a sunset cruise. It's just gorgeous and just as gorgeous to hire it for the day and go see the pitons, have lunch and see the beautiful coast line of St Lucia. It's stunning. The kids club is fabulous and my son who is 12 still loves to have a sneaky look in and my daughter who is 9 and my nephews who are 5 and 7 all love it. Cathy who runs it is the best! alongside Carol and Rosalee who make it what it is. One of the things my son loves is the St Lucian local football team come to play football with the children at The Landings once a week . They all just love it.Dinner is at The Landings at their Beach Club or at The Palms which is their fine dining restaurant. All delicious. Otherwise room service on your stunning terrace or there are many restaurants to choose from in the Rodney Bay area. There are too may people at The Landings to mention but they are all incredible and can't do enough for you to make your stay that extra special. I'm sure I have missed out so much about this hotel but we love it.
Fab ocean view apartment (the rooms are like apartments) they are fabulous! Beautifully done & so roomy & comfortable. ALL staff so helpful and so friendly. Always a smile and accommodating. They all loved our 2 children
The lobby is absolutely beautiful and the welcome was warm and inviting. We had problems checking in our room but the wonderful Shannel made sure to resolve this. It is a very big complex with stunning views over the sea and Rodney Bay in the distance if you are lucky to get a room on the high level. The rooms are apartments with kitchen, big sitting/dining room and fully equipped. The staff is professional and will go out of their way to spoil you. The menu is limited especially when you stay there for a long period. A very pleasant beach area with things to do. Take a hike up to Pigeon Island.
