My husband and I just returned from a fabulous week at this resort, The place is truly magical, there is something very special and unique about this location, the staff is friendly and warm, executive chef Rene was amazing at creating some special dishes to cater to my vegan lifestyle, and yet there was so much on the menu that catered to all types of diets, allergies, and all culinary selections. We stayed in Villa 24 and were blown away by the views of the beach, ocean, and the sunsets...wow...words fail to describe the sunsets. The facilities were immaculate, the SPA was serene and services were top notch, we enjoyed a couples massage, followed by a magnesium bath...totally decadent! Ann at the spa ensured that every need was met.. The Dive shop right in the resort was fantastic, the equipment, the boat, the dive masters, all exceeded our expectations. Thank you all for co-creating a memorable and cherished vacation, we will definetely return very soon.Highly recommend!Teresa Marasco

After what felt like a long flight and several near death experiences on the roads of St Lucia in an ancient mini van arriving at Windjammer was amazing. The staff were very welcoming and the drink and hot towel a nice touch. The huge villa was great spread over three floors and the views stunning. We particularly enjoyed the access to water sports which kept adults and children amused for hours and the staff there were brilliant and helpful. Overall the service was good and the staff friendly. The selection of restaurants and the menus do get a bit repetitive over two weeks if you choose to stay at the resort as we did but there were lots of trips available as well. We stayed all inclusive which judging by the prices is a must. Tips: make sure you get a good taxi, try and stay near the centre as the taxi's take ages and the walk up some of the hills can be a killer. Also watch out for the pizza restaurant which allows cats to wander freely throughout. Not great for those allergies! My only real gripe was the taxi back which had to collect from two other hotels. We waited for ages outside one in the heat. Not sure if you can get your own taxi back rather than the transfer taxis.
Having stayed a few times at Windjammer Landing, I thought it would be productive to give an update on my most recent stay compared to previous visits. Overall, this is a lovely resort with some of the staff being exceptional in customer service. The facilities are very good, food and restaurants above average. However, there are a couple of things that might possibly put a dampener on your perfect holiday. Firstly, construction is ongoing. Embers restaurant is closed for refurbishment and noise and paint smells may flood across the beach which is closest to the main resort. (I have taken a picture to show this site, Embers is currently surrounded by tall white fences) If you progress up the beach to escape this, you will find the new villa construction (called “North Point” again another picture attached) The noise from here is also noticeable. Secondly, as mentioned in a previous review, the front desk and management organisation is becoming poor. Some (but not all) of the front desk staff are nonchalant and disinterested, so please note when you check out from Windjammer (11am) , it’s chaotic with customers tripping over luggage and possible long wait times to settle your bill. There is a resistance to allow you a late check out claiming that the room is required. However, it’s early November and occupancy is low and most of their new customers (from Europe and USA) will not arrive until late afternoon. So no check out times are staggered and there’s no willingness to offer late check out. A edict from senior management, rather than letting the lobby staff make a judgement on the day?Please bear this in mind during your stay, but otherwise,this is a fine resort and location with many staff I know on first name basis from my previous visits. So I would like to say to Gloria, Sharon, Magdeline, Nona, Travis, Ronnie, Angus etc etc, thanks for looking after us. Finally, an example of great customer service here. ......Nona has been one of the bar staff at “96 in the shade” beach bar this week. There’s only one staff member serving at this particular drinking establishment . My partner is a big Campari drinker and on the day in question there’s was no bottle. The response normally is “sorry we don’t have that here”Nona didn’t say “no” and she proceeded to close the bar for 10 minutes, walk to the main bar, get a Campari bottle, then return back and serve us. I work in the customer industry myself, but this small action spoke volumes to us and we made sure she knew how appreciative we were. Great job!!Enjoy your holiday here.
We just returned from 5 days at this resort, and we have rave reviews. This was the most beautiful island in the Caribbean that we`ve ever visited, and we`ve been to several. The people were very nice, very accommodating, and very friendly. Despite some renovations going on, it was so relaxing - weather wonderful - that we hope to return sometime in the future. The meals at this resort were wonderful - plentiful servings - and wonderful drinks. Our three bedroom villa was in need of some renovations, but still very comfortable, and who could ever forget the views! One can never tire of them, and since we were so high up, and needed the excellent shuttle service to and from, we got a breathtaking view several times a day and night! Excellent choice of a vacation!
