Grand Case Beach Club
- What's Included
We spent a week here in later March for a 30th anniversary return trip to the island. After a lot of Trip Advisor research, we decided on Grand Case Beach Club. Our arrival was bumpy with a late check-in as our room was not ready until 4:30 & seemingly understaffed desk staff. But once we settled into our waterfront room and the resort, it all improved significantly. Our room and bathrooms, kitchen, porch, water views and resort amenities were wonderful. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and the office staff were helpful with restaurant reservations and transportation referrals. Nicky & Ruth in the office deserve a shout-out. The pool, multiple lounging areas, beach, on-site gift shop, and restaurant were all close to one another. The resort is a short walk to town, as we walked mid-day, while taking the Jolly Ride shuttle service back from town in the evenings for safety and highly enjoyed the friendly transport. The beach is nice for swimming; we enjoyed our kayak ride and ability to have lunch & drinks on the water. My favorite spots were the pool and seating areas for the water views and gorgeous sunsets. Bring cash for tipping at the Sunset Cafe, housekeeping & for transportation needs. Hope to return some day and recommend to couples and friend groups.
We were staying at Oyster Bay Beach Resort for a week but due to the seaweed issues at Dawn Beach just wanted access to a beautiful beach for a day or so. Were given a great room by their room Manager Lynn who happened to be in the reception area when we were inquiring about a one night stay. She gave us a great one bedroom/loft on the third floor that was just remarkable in terms of size, appointments, and spacious balcony. In addition, the resort boasts two world class beaches and a wonderful restaurant where we had the best fish and chips ever, not to mention a nice breakfast on the day of our departure.Lastly, the short walk into Grand Case and their restaurant row is an added plus and just makes this place even better. We will now plan to make this a place to stay again during our next visit and can't wait to return. Thanks Lynn and GCBC for doing it the right and classy way!
We visited this hotel 11 years ago, and it was even better this time! The staff are very friendly, the location, restaurant, and beach are lovely. Can not say enough good things about the people that work at this place. They make you want to return! The only complaint I have is the stove top is very difficult to work. Every time we wanted to cook someone had to come turn it on for us. If you don't plan on doing a lot of cooking on the stove or you have an advanced engineering degree, then it should be fine :-). I would not hesitiate to return. We stayed on the first floor both times with an Jr. Ocean view room, and it was lovely.
I could never say enough about how amazing this place is. This was our third year and I swear, it keeps getting better! The resort is so charming and quaint. As someone else mentioned; even when full, there is still such a privacy to the area. The views are amazing and some of the best on the island. The beach is rarely crowded and when the sun goes down; it is like you are in your own private oasis. The staff goes above and beyond in every way. Cheers to Sabrina at Sunset, Julio the security guard and Jerome at Creole Rock Watersports. Oh...and how could I forget lovely Miss Ginger the cat? We were celebrating my husbands 40th birthday and everyone remembered and kept sending well wishes. We also had a return flight delay and the front desk let us stay in our room an additional hour at no extra fee.Grand Case Beach Club has become a home away from home for my husband and I and I cried when we had to say goodbye. It is a place of special memories that last a lifetime and we cannot wait to return in 2018! We would NEVER think of staying anywhere else.
I did the room hopper special, and it was fantastic! i was in a beautiful room (s). lovely service, exceptional upgraded décor (the entire hôtel in fact is looking brand new!). The staff is ready for your every need.My favorite thing are the amazing beaches at the hotel. I can swim in crystal clear water virtually by myself. that is how peaceful this hôtel is, even when it's probably fully booked! I love being able to walk from the hôtel to restauarants, cafés, bars, the pharmacie, or a little supermarket. and above all, i love i can practice the French language.their new pool is gorgeous! The views are unmatched.Alexandra is awesome at helping out guests. She was crucial to my planning, during this very spécial visit for my big birthday.Thank you for everything and I hope to be back before the end of the year!
