We stayed for 2nights. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and nothing was a problem. The breakfast was amazing, we are not "breakfast" people however we ate so much and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also had our dinner there on one of the evenings. This was also very enjoyable and reasonably price. I would loved to have used the spa facilities however we didnt have time. It looked fabulous. The roof top pool is nice and has lovely views. In the morning you can get a taxi in to city centre for around €10, My only gripe was after a day of exploring beautiful barcelona we found it quite difficult to get back to the hotel as it was a bit out of the way, and taxis are hard to get in the evening. Would def come back.
I found the hotel clean and bright. Check in was smooth and staff extremely pleasant. Breakfast was delightful with a huge selection of continental and hot foods. They even had the option to have a little tipple with prosecco on offer at breakfast and throughout the day. The room was not the biggest however it was perfect for the two of us for a short stay. I requested a twin room which is what they said I had but we found the beds still joint with 1 sheet and duvet. The amenities consisted of things like a sewing kit, shaving kit, shoe horn, dental kit and many more; far better then what I have seen in most 4 star hotels.I recommend the spa to anyone that stays. It was well worth the €16 (€9 if you visit between 9am and 3pm) Room service was excellent. Food came quickly and piping hot an array of condiments were provided to accompany the meal. Why I am only giving 4 stars is because on my second night I saw a fairly large insect run across the room. I am deadly afraid of insects so I was unable to stay in the room. The staff at reception acted instantly and found us another room immediately. They even came to help us move our things at 4am. The new room was exactly that, new! They had only just refurbished it and it was amazing. Although the same size as the other room, it was brighter and cleaner. Overall my experience was plesent. I will stay again due to the amazing breakfast and staff.
2 night stay at this holiday and was clean, fresh, breakfast was lovely, recommend this hotel as not too far from centre.Staff very helpful and kindRoof top terrace with swimming pool and barRestaurant for breakfast, evening meals
We enjoyed a very comfortable stay and paid extra for a privilege suite situated on floor 8. The suite was large and airy with a sun soaked private balcony containing two sun beds and four chairs - this was very welcome as the roof top terrace was always busy and finding a seat or sun bed was difficult. The large queen size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. The mini bar containing drinks and snacks (only beer if you're looking for alcohol) was replenished daily and there was a kettle and Nespresso coffee machine which was appreciated. We received a bottle of cava and fresh fruits on our first night and on my birthday, a box of chocolates and a card was delivered to the room - a really lovely touch. As privilege guests we had free access to the spa and privilege lounge which was stocked with a variety of beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic. We only visited this area once as it lacked atmosphere and felt a bit elitist. The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating, especially the team at breakfast who worked hard to ensure that the food was plentiful and replenished regularly. The only slight disappointment was the main restaurant. The menu was not particularly inspiring and the atmosphere was a bit cold and unwelcoming. We only dined here on our first night as there are so many fantastic restaurants either in the city or down by the Port Olympic to take advantage of.The location of the hotel is spot on. You can walk down to the beaches and Port Olympic (takes about 15 minutes) and there is a taxi rank 200 yards to the left of the hotel. We used taxis to get us into the city as they were so reasonable. However, the Metro is very good and we did use that on during one of our sightseeing days.Barcelona itself is such a diverse and interesting place, where the city meets the sea. The sights are all magnificent particularly the Sagrada Familia (book tickets in advance), the MNAC museum, Park Guell, Gothic Quarter, Parc de La Ciutadella, Montjuic by cable car and the beaches.
This is a lovely, modern hotel within a 15 minute walk to the Marina. The rooms were nice and decorated very well. Bathtub is quite high, so use caution getting in!The pool is located on the rooftop and offers a lovely view. The is also a rooftop bar which was a nice place to get a drink!
