The hotel itself was quite nice-good room and the included breakfast was really a lovely surprise. A huge selection of food from fruit to eggs to specialty meats to pastries. We really enjoyed our morning meal and coffee. The problem was construction. We were out at the end of the hall on the second floor. We had spent 12 hours flight time getting here and despite our best efforts to acclimate to the time change we still needed a little nap in the afternoon as we were completely out of gas at that point! There was some sort of grinding, jackhammering and welding going on in the building and the noise was unrelenting. Our companions eventually phoned to complain (twice) because it was just awful. We had let the hotel know that we had travelled a long way and had specifically requested rooms in a more quiet area of the hotel and yet this was the area they put us in. Not impressed!
I found the location perfect it was located next to the station.We liked the breakfast very much as there was enough to choose from and very friendly staff.The surrounding area is nice and you can easily walk to the shoppingcentre
The service in this hotel was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. We were a group of 6 that booked three rooms for three nights. Two rooms had the breakfast, one did not, even though we all paid the same and booked the exact same date. When checking in, one of the guests asked, “Do we all have breakfast included?” and it was confirmed that we did. This morning we all got up early to have a group breakfast and were surprised that they had retracted their word to make two of us pay 18 euros for a yogurt, a coffee, and an egg. I went to talk to Anna at the reception - she would not stop interrupting me and wouldn’t even let me finish a sentence without raising her voice. She was so aggressive and rude. I travel for my job year-round, and have never experienced such a rude service. There are far too many high quality hotels in Barcelona to bother with this one. Next time, we will take our business elsewhere.
Easy check in even though room wasn't ready, but staff was very polite.Had two rooms one twin and one standard couldn't fault rooms ,breakfast plenty to choose from found metro nearby and a taxi rank by the hotel
The hotel was clean we had a good room, decorated well and the staff were very helpful and friendly. However the night we stopped there was a wedding reception party so the hotel was very busy and noisy. That said a good hotel with a good breakfast! In fact I think probably the best I have ever had at any hotel. I will use again.
