The hotel messed up our room so we got upgraded to the suite which was fabulous . Loads of room! No English tv, food was lovely with a wide selection of good food. A chief there to cook your steak as you want it. Swimming pool big and nice. The evening entertainment wasn't that good and you just had the one bar, it felt like being in a village hall. The indoor pool / jacuzzi in the basement was fab, and quiet, I don't think people know it's there. Good location for the amusement park, beach and town. The reception staff where brilliant, very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed Salou.
Hotel 15 minutes to the front this is a bit far out if bad walking hotel staff very helpful dining room had no dress code on an evening you could wear what you like which was not good for a 4star hotel we asked for a high floor which we got but we were between 2 rooms that smoked and all we could smell was smoking when we opened the balcony door evrything else ok
I went here with my son for a two day trip to the Port Aventura theme park. This hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the park and the same to downtown Salau. Big family room which was clean and bright with a big balcony. Beds were OK by Spanish standards. Breakfast was a huge buffet but very busy in the morning. Food was just OK. If I went again I wouldn't bother with the breakfast. If you are driving they say that there is parking available for 10 euros per night. When I went to reception the guy told me that this charge was for the underground parking and if you park outside the hotel or on the road there is no charge. Helpful. Decent swimming pool but cold in October. There are a few bars with the usual entertainment in the evening for kids and adults. Got a really decent price of 55 euros per night for the room so cant really complain.
Again, for third year running an excellent half board stay, superb quality and value for money all round.A great late Autumn holiday. Huge selection of hot and cold buffet food, well above average,Large clean rooms and friendly helpful staff. Overall highly recommendable.
Myself and boyfriend went here for our first ever holiday abroad together and we could not have been more happier with the Salauris Palace right from the first welcome to check out a week later. We stayed in room 346 which was lovely and spacious. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. Our room was pool view and our balcony was right above the stage for nights entertainment which some looking for a quieter place to stay may not like but it was fine for us as we could enjoy the entertainment and our sangria on the balcony. This was my boyfriends first time abroad so was a bit shocked by the no duvets (which I understand is normal for Spain) but requested one and got a mattress topper. Also no kettles in room but can have for €3 a day. The restaurant was amazing! We stayed dinner bed and breakfast. Very attentive and welcoming staff and the buffet for both breakfast and dinner were huge ... so much choice and variety everyone was catered for and it meant you never had to eat the same thing twice. We enjoyed the foods from the "grill" every night cooked right before our eyes. Only disappointing part was having to pay for water with our evening meal which we both felt should just be available as standard. It's in a perfect location, just a 10 minute walk from the promenade and beach and just 5 mins walk from the nearest shops. Would recommend to our all friends and family and would even consider coming back again another year. Thank you for making our first holiday special and memorable.
